Sarah Gurney wears many professional hats in Sebastopol, CA. She is a traditional family law attorney and specializes in collaborative law and mediation for couples who wish to engage in a less adversarial way of handling marriage dissolution. The collaborative approach strives to resolve issues peacefully without going to court, thereby creating solutions all parties can live with. In addition, she has served as a Sebastopol City Council Member since 2004 and currently presides as Mayor; however, that is just a fraction of her community involvement.
