Anne Mitchell is a veteran attorney and law professor who devotes most of her time now to her spam-filtering business. Mitchell is also author of the blogs, "Mange Merde" and "Getting Email Delivered". Though her primary background is in law, Mitchell's content on the former is varied; though there are some insightful commentaries on legal issues, she takes a very humorous and informal approach to her blogging, and is able to thus deliver content that entertains as it educates. Refreshingly, Mitchell also differs from other legal bloggers in that she is not shy about expressing a strong opinion or two. She doesn't mention much about the current state of her law practice but it seems apparent that Mitchell isn't currently active, mentioning that she got "burned out" on her family law practice 10 years ago. Still, she is very much involved in other legalities, and is recognized for helping to author current federal anti-spam laws. Apparently she has also done some work as a law professor, though she is not currently listed among the faculty at the school she cited. Mitchell isn't mentioned much by others in the legal blogosphere, possibly because of the diversity of her content, yet many could stand to gain from the intelligent posts on both. Anne Mitchell may not confine her blogging strictly to the world of law, but is quite possibly one of the more entertaining and intelligent bloggers with a legal background.
