what's interesting about Brent?

Brent Britton is a noted authority on intellectual property who has served in various legal capacities over the better part of 15 years. Britton is also very much involved in the legal blogging and multimedia scene; in addition to authoring his "Fomenting Company 2.0" blog, he is also the co-host of a radio show and podcast. Britton keeps a very readable blog in which he has introduced a series of introductions to IP law, covering many of the imperative aspects of that often misunderstood facet of law. Britton does a great job of explaining many of the more technical aspects in laymens terms, and also covers other important and relevant subjects. Though he doesn't appear to get much mention in the legal blogging world, he has been featured for his expert opinion in stories that the website Cnet.com has covered on trademark and copyright law. It seems that Britton is somewhat of an innovator as well; in addition to founding one of the first online magazines, he also co-founded a law firm in the late 90's that specifically catered to internet companies - another "first of its kind". The mercurial Britton has also had an interesting employment history; since graduating law school in 1994, he has worked for no less than 8 firms in varying legal capacities of partner and general counsel. It appears that Britton's tendency to move forward in his career is consistent with his innovative spirit - a quality that bodes well for any legal professional whose focus is on the constantly-evolving world of intellectual property law.
