Mr. John D. Cahners, a State Bar Certified Criminal Law Specialist, was a former senior prosecutor with the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office. Since 1980 he has been handling criminal defense from DUI to homicide. I was born in 1980. Coincidence? He has also become an expert in handling domestic violence cases. I have never gotten a DUI, killed anyone, or beaten my wife, whom I have not yet married, but I might some day. In which case I will definitely be calling this guy. Born in Boston, Mr. Cahners attended Stanford and then the University of California. Recognized by San Francisco Magazine and Super Lawyer Magazine, he is considered to be in the top 5% of all Northern California Attorneys. He served in the U.S. Navy for three years, during which time he completed Naval Justice School, served as a JAG liaison, and participated in numerous military courts-martial. With well over 100 jury trials under his belt, his practice focuses on case-by-case analysis and performance based on the case and his clients needs and/or goals.
