Daniel Shanfield has a record of positive work with immigrant and refugee populations and human rights organizations. He was the Legal Services Manager with the U.S. refugee program in Europe, and he also served as a migration and refugee adviser to the United Nations in addition to pro bono legal representation for Human Rights First. Mr. Shanfield is a Golden Bear alumnus, having received his J.D. from Boalt and perhaps his humanitarian impetus from Berkeley's counter-cultural remnants. He now takes it to the Pacific side of the Bay, where he has been named to the San Francisco Bar Association's Pro Bono Immigration Court Panel.
