Joel Friedman received his J.D. from the California Western School of Law in 1997 and has been a member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) since 1998. He practices exclusively in the areas of U.S. immigration and naturalization law. Mr. Friedman was a merit scholar at Lake Forest Academy and, therefore, a "Frog" - not a Frenchman, but an Academic Amphibian - an alumnus of a school steeped in over 100 years of tradition. Apparently, in the late 1880's LFA students started shouting "coax, coax" - a tribute to Aristophanes, The Frogs. The mascot and the term "Caxy" stuck, but this Caxy may be a legal prince, if your vision of happily ever after includes an immigration visa.
