BRETT J. RODDA is a corporate partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. His practice touches on a wide variety of corporate transactions and securities matters, with an emphasis on corporate governance and public company disclosure issues. Mr. Rodda recently coordinated the securities and regulatory analysis for Warren Buffett's historic gift to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He also regularly represents seven public companies as to compliance with SEC and FTC regulations, stock exchange listing requirements and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In addition, Mr. Rodda regularly advises KB Home in connection with a wide variety of corporate legal issues, including its securities offerings, key acquisitions and 1934 Act compliance. He also serves as outside general counsel to Daily Journal Corporation, which includes preparing all securities filings, negotiating significant commercial contracts, providing corporate governance advice and consulting on employment and real estate issues.
