All throughout a decade of law practice, a move across the country and a drastically changed economy, Hank Heyming continues to ply his trade as an expert in venture capital laws. As an experienced attorney who appears to have a niche helping startup companies with their advisory and legal needs, Heyming has worked in several other law offices across the country before landing at his current firm two years ago and seems have developed a solid enough reputation in that period of time. Heyming shares much of his wisdom at his blog, "Dividends and Preferences", a collection of informative articles that appears aimed at the venture capitalists and startup firms that comprise much of Heyming's clientele. The articles on this blog are very well-composed and articulated, with much useful content, such as tips for startups, timely articles on VC and even some relevant bits on technology. In fact, Heyming also states that he also provides representation in the areas of information technology and while he doesn't seem to accentuate that area of his practice through his blogging, his knowledge in this area could prove to blend well with the others areas of his practice to increase his overall appeal to startup firms. As a blogger and attorney, Hank Heyming appears to provide the type of valuable services that any venture capital professional or startup company would prize.
