California attorney Michael Cardoza is a former major crimes prosecutor and nationally-known trial advocate with over 35 years of litigation experience and over 400 cases tried to verdict. As well as being a successful criminal attorney, he has a successful media career, appearing on networks such as Fox to offer his legal advice and analysis. His media work has not always helped his career. In 2004 Cardoza prepared a client for a potential cross-examination and announced it to the media. The Judge did not appreciate this and effectively “gagged” Cardoza. A mixture of Cardozas’s fame and expertise has seen him hired in many high profile cases. For example he successfully defended a lady whose dog mauled her partner to death. The media exposure received from this case led to Cardoza being hired by the familyof a 17-year-old fatally mauled by a tiger at the San Francisco Zoo.
