Todd Epp is a South Dakota attorney and author of two blogs (mostly which crosspost to one another) on general matters and areas of interest in the legal profession. Though his work encompasses several areas of legal focus, Epp does have an educational and professional history in intellectual property cases. And like many IP lawyers, Epp has established a very visible presence online, connecting with several other legal professionals via social media. His primary blog, SD Watch, seems to have attracted Epp a fair readership, albeit mostly on a local level. Fellow South Dakotan bloggers such as Douglas Wiken have mentioned Epp, as have the blogs South Dacola and SD Wingnuts. Epp seems fairly well respected, with a slight exception being a noteworthy feud with blogger Steve Sibson, with whom Epp has had disagreements with over blogging policy. Few will doubt Epp's writing skills however, as he has freelanced articles for the mainstream press in addition to writing for the respected Washburn Law Review. Epp also has extensive experience with other forms of media, and has enjoyed a long career in broadcast televsion. These areas would obviously add to his hands-on expertise with intellectual property matters. Thus, the prospective client has much to look at when considering Todd Epp as a top legal professional with a wealth of professional, personal and academic experience.
