Matt Crider is an attorney whose specialities include general family law and also serves in an advisory capacity to businesses. Crider also has maintained a well-composed blog entitled, "Northern California Family Law Blog" for roughly a year and half, populating it with the latest relevant legal news, links and topics such as social media. Crider does seem to have a technological edge, and is also familiar with the day to day business of a solo practitioner, which may be of interest to many other legal professionals who are looking to start up their own practice. In fact, the popular blogger Grant Griffiths, who writes a legal blog dedicated to working out of a home office, referred to Crider in one of his posts about avoiding distractions while working at home. Crider also seems to have taken an interest in the popular course, "Solo Practice University", which should further his expertise on running a solo legal practice. As an attorney, Crider seems to have a solid blend of experience and peer respect. The site Avvo.com lists Crider has having been licensed in the state of Texas as an attorney for 12 years, and in California for the past four years, with neither state showing any disciplinary citations. Crider also recently was elected Treasurer for 2009 by the Placer County Bar Association. Matt Crider seems to offer a good blend of professional knowledge, experience and insight as a lawyer and veteran solo practitioner.
