Jenn Steele is Director of IT for the Boston office of a large law firm and is a legal blogger with a heavy leaning towards technology. As such, Steele is fairly well known among other legal bloggers, especially the more tech-savvy "knowledge management" crowd, such as Robert Ambrogi and Doug Cornelius, both of whom mentioned Steele on their blogs. Steele, who maintains a regular blog as well as provides contributing articles for another, has also received positive mention by legal blogger Tony Hartsfield and was the guest interview of the popular Westblog.net. Though Steele has only been at her present employer for a year, her experience with law firms goes back to the turn of the decade. Since then, Steele has worked in some capacity in the IT department for 3 separate legal practices and her writing reflects an abundance of familiarity with both legal and technical matters. She also claims to have some knowledge in such areas as social networking, a claim that can easily be supported by her own extensive list of social media accounts and certainly by her obvious passion for technology. Jenn Steele seems an excellent inclusion into the legal blogging world, with a technical perspective that many attorneys and those in knowledge management can stand to benefit from.
