William P. Aycock II has been practicing law for nearly 40 years, graduating with honors and Order of the Coif from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970.  He focuses his practice currently on commercial and real estate cases, and while he is no stranger to complex commercial cases, he is also a certified mediator with the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission, which means he knows very well how to negotiate and secure his clients interests at the same time.  Mr. Aycock has attained numerous honors and awards during his career, but his greatest professional accomplishments can be measured in terms of his teaching, lecturing, and specialization in his field.  He has been a visiting Lecturer of Law at his alma mater, the University of North Carolina, and he is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law.  A former Research Editor for the University of North Carolina Law Review, Mr. Aycock's professional expertise is well-known among his peers, who have consistently named him among the state's and nation's best attorneys for several years.  He is among North Carolina's Superlawyers, the Best Lawyers in America, and was recently named the 2009 Best Lawyers' Greensboro Real Estate Lawyer of the Year.
