Charles J. Gearhiser, besides being one of the founding members of his firm, was also named Chattanooga Personal Injury Litigator of the Year. His practice mainly revolves around civil trial, personal injury and product liability. Before founding his own firm, Charlie was a Law Clerk to U.S. District Judge Frank W. Wilson. From 1976 to 1978, while engaged in private practice, he served as Assistant U. S. Attorney, Eastern District of Tennessee and he served as part-time United States Magistrate. Charlie received his B.S. from Austin Peay University in 1965 and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1961.
