The battle between Vincent Tchenguiz and Nicola Horlick for control of the Bramdean Alternative fund is becoming messy. In May of 2009 Peter Barton, who is also chairman of Bramdean Asset Management, announced in May of 2009 that he will be taking the Swiss route and resigning from the board of Breamdean Alternative so that he can remain neutral. Peter began his career as a corporate lawyer before moving to investment banking with Lehman Brothers and Robert Fleming. His activities outside of Bramdean, other than running for cover, include board memberships with F&C U.S. Smaller Companies, easyGroup Holdings and Alliance & Leicester. He is a trustee of the Leonard Ingrams Foundation and is a member of the Audit & Scrutiny Committee at Oxford University.
