Leslie Fieger is into some otherworldly stuff-- muons, meta-rational thought, "Abundance as a Spiritual Birthright", etc. His career has been long and varied, from ceo of a fledgling company to best-selling author to self-help kingpin, blogger, and "internet guru". In fact, Leslie Fieger has come across a formula and business model so successful that he no longer has to travel in order to get paid to speak-- he does so over the internet from the comfort of his home in the Caribbean. As a life coach there is a not a lot of feedback about Leslie beyond the predictable 'his clients come away empowered to make positive life changes' stuff but as an author, Leslie has been put under a bit more scrutiny. I must point out, though, that Leslie isn't just your typical book writer (though he has written those). He's an avid blogger and article-writer whose work has been published or reprinted on (allegedly) 50,000 web pages (I find that hard to believe, but Google Leslie Fieger and see what happens). But whereas most bloggers and non-full-time writers receive little attention from anyone, Leslie's articles receive serious criticism. A review of an article Leslie wrote in 'The Journal of Non-Locality and Remote Mental Interactions' is a perfect example, where the reviewer accepts Leslie's basic premise but then give a flat "refusal of Fieger’s conception of consciousness". This is some serious peer-reviewed intellectual critiquing, and the results are mixed. At least one serious intellectual has qualms with Leslie's thought process, but at the same time being published in major journals and reviewed means that Leslie is considered a serious, if sometimes misguided, thinker. Maybe that has to do with the fact that he oftens posts on his blog with "messages from God" draped in 21st century environmentally-friendly lingo? Just a thought...
