what's interesting about Aline?

Aline Cullen has been with Coldwell Banker in Boston since 2000. With a little thought you can imagine what a decade of real estate experience will give a person. In Cullen's case, she's seen the Boston housing market go from good to bad. And anyone who has dealt with adversity will have the experience and the know-how to figure out how to get out of it, or at best, around it. For Cullen's sake, I'm glad she's found career success. A very good percentage of realtors out there seem to turn to real estate as a sort of last-ditch effort to find themselves, and Cullen seems no different. She started out as a nurse, which apparently didn't cut it for her. But, again, a decade of being in real estate kind of speaks for itself. I find it interesting that back in May 2008 a story was written for Boston.com's "Real Estate Now" segment about how homes are sometimes listed with an inaccurate, "inflated" square foot count to try and categorize smaller homes with larger properties. Cullen was the listing agent on one such home centered on in this story. There was no effort to pin Cullen as the culprit of this, but I find it interesting that when asked for comment she referred the author to her boss, who gave some lame duck answer about how the real size is in the eye of the beholder. I guess that's good for sellers, but potentially very bad for buyers.
