And in today's technologically-dominated real estate age, where almost 90% of home buyers do their shopping from their computer, that means everything. Ron Buss tells me nothing I want to hear, and everything I don't. So I've decided to pick on him for what it means to do a poor job of marketing yourself online as a realtor. First and foremost, Buss's personal site, where a good online presence begins and ends, links you right back to his Coldwell Banker company bio page. If you've registered a unique Internet domain name, you might as well take advantage of it. Buss works in partnership with Dave Bauman and two other realtors as part of "Buss/Bauman Partners," servicing the entire Denver metro area. And when you read their little mission statement spiel about the team is hardworking, willing to market your home using the most updated online techniques available, and how their ultimate goal is to help buyers and sellers achieve their dreams, you're digesting the same real estate school piety monotony that *every* realtor uses. My point is, if I'm looking for a realtor, I want someone who stands out from the rest, because that tells me they're going to do a stand-out job for me. And there's just simply nothing that stands out about Run Buss. There's no energy, no excitement, nothing unique. And in real estate, that's a death wish.
