As an attorney specializing in family law matters, Diane M. Goodman has contributed significantly to the field, especially in regards to representing gay and lesbian litigants in adoption and custody proceedings. Her practice offers Family Law Mediation services, but her active advocacy for domestic partnerships, parentage and adoption issues for same-sex couples, and family law in general are well respected in the field. She was co-counsel for the landmark California Supreme Court case involving Lisa R., which upheld parentage judgments for same-sex couples.
