Are you planning on purchasing some land and sticking a Walmart on it? You're in luck. Peter Aitelli is an expert on commercial real estate law. Now this cat usually represents foreign real estate investors as they navigate our labyrinthine land laws, but I'm sure he's be glad to help a local out now and again. When Mr. Aitelli is not bringing you your next Walmart or Multi-unit complex, he's helping form joint ventures and other investment arrangements. That's to say that he actually took Rodney King's advice and is "helping us all get along" one mega-mart at a time. That's not to say that investors are a cantankerous and litigious bunch. That happens to be the case; I just wasn't stating that there. So, if you have a large joint project and you want to remain friends at the end of the day with you fellow investors -- FAT CHANCE. But, if you want to keep your shirt at the end of the day, then give Mr. Aitelli a call. Hey, and don't let the fact that he did his undergrad work at UCLA fool you; he's actually quite sharp.
