When I moved to the UK after living in California my entire life I was amazed when people talked about weed psychosis. I totally agree that kids shouldn’t use any mind altering or body altering products like weed booze pills or tobacco because it can have long term detrimental effects on developing brains. But I have to think there’s a link between psychosis here and how unregulated the market is. Obviously in California you could get safe, secure, tested, and lab grade weed legally (with a med card) since the 90’s. of course people who are prone to mental illnesses will get them, and weed can be a trigger for that for people with undiagnosed schizophrenia or likewise. From my perspective, the only answer is legalise, regulate, tax, spend money on the NHS, education system, and addiction rehabilitation/ safe rooms for hard drug users. Research into the mental health effects and mental health IN GENERAL because not enough is known or done to help those with mental illnesses or people with potential mental illnesses. Just my 2p. Thanks for listening if anyone did :)

What organisations in the UK are pushing for decriminalisation/legalisation ? Would like to get involved if possible
