Our buyers are highly skilled in authenticating merchandise, and we are extremely selective from whom we choose to buy.
If we are in doubt regarding the authenticity of an item, we send it to an independent authentication service.
Recessionista guarantees that all of the pieces you purchase are original designer items. We offer a 100% refund, including return shipping, for any item called into question.

Due to the nature of our business, all sales are final.

The cost of shipping has been built into the price of the items, so shipping is essentially included in your purchase.
We ship via FedEx and require a signature for delivery.

Please email us three high resolution photos of the item (we ask they are photos only of "your" item, not designer or stock images), as well as its description, degree of wear, purchase date and purchase price.
Once received we'll review the info and let you know if your piece fits Recessionista standards, and the price we can sell it for on the agora. We split all proceeds with our consignors 50-50 once the item sells.
