Hey Biggas,
July has been a decent month for me smoke-wise, having been on a bit of a budget previously. I figured rather than individual reviews I'll stick them all here. Some have been reviewed in depth by other biggas so I'll breeze over them and focus on stuff that I haven't seen reviewed yet.
Honourable mentions go to Tescrow's Putin and Casa hashes. My opinions largely match what I have seen from others. Both really nice, the Casa is more malleable but the Putin packs more of a punch. Putin has dislodged DGT's Sunset Sherbet as my favourite commercial hash on LB.
I also finally tried one of Sensi Mart's 100% live resin carts. I've now tried all 50/50s and the 100% carts from them. I found the 100% cart didn't have as strong a flavour as some of the 50/50s, this is likely down to the strain not being as flavourful. The effects are great, really smooth on the inhale and exhale, I can take bigger hits of this than the 50/50s without coughing. I'd say it rivals the gg4 50/50 in terms of strength, I definitely feel the effects for longer from the 100%. I would love to see a Rainbow Belts 100% cart.
Finally I bought an Oz from The Gentlemen Dealers and they kindly split it so that I got 14gs each of their Mimosa and Berry Burst, you can find pics of both below. I was going for a nice sativa/indica mix and this seemed like the best bet.
Mimosa - I now understand why Pollypuff raves about this strain. The citrus smell is insane, never found a strain that smells this much like oranges. I mostly vape this as I feel like the flavour comes through better, I'm usually more of a spliff smoker but this is noticeably better through the Mighty.
Like a lot of sativa this is a great 'do stuff' weed, it's quite energising mentally. It's the perfect weed for a long, sunny walk with headphones on. A good daytime weed, you feel the effects nicely without it overtaking you.
Berry Burst (Blueberry X Cherry Pie) - This is probably the most unique weed I have bought on LB to date. It had the oddest smell when I first opened the bag, really earthy and almost coffee like, this seems to have mellowed in the jar but it still has a unique smell to me. If anyone else bought this, let me know what you think. It's not a criticism of the bud at all, just sure there are people who could describe it better than I can.
This is an absolute pleasure to smoke and vape, although I do find myself smoking this more than vaping it. The indica effect hits straight away, this is the opposite of the mimosa effect. The outside world can go fuck itself after I've had some of this. I was smoking this while enjoying the latest series of 'It's Always Sunny...' (a massive return to form btw) and smashing through Diablo 4. It was your evangelising of mimosa that put it on my radar in the first place. I’ll be sticking with it as my go to daytime smoke.
I really hope there will be more 100% carts to come from Sensi Mart, although I’ll never give up the 50/50s either. The rainbow belts cart is the nicest tasting cart I’ve bought. Hope you enjoy yours and let me know what you think, interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I use a Honeybee with mine. I was a bit of a cart cynic until I tried the Sensi Mart 50/50s and I am now a total convert lol. I hope you enjoy it.

I was lucky enough to win RealD's reverse Auction last week and did a little write-up as a thanks and to let biggas know about the hash I received. For some reason it has never appeared on the Topics wall so I think only myself and RealD have seen it lol

I am definitely learning something new here everyday! I understand the algorithm having an effect on the items wall, but this is the first time I’ve seen it in the Topics. I figured Topics was an ‘anything goes’ environment, but clearly not.
As you said, how many good topics get buried by the algorithm? It’s a shame that it puts off people from contributing.

The topics wall can behave as weirdly as the items wall. In fairness, since the migration to .com it’s actually easier to use as posts appear in a less random fashion. Before you could see two topics of interest, read one and then go back for the second and it had simply disappeared!….some topics only ever appeared if you logged out!
Some topics fall away very quickly if they don’t get traction ie votes and comments but this doesn’t explain why others with zero traction hang about literally for ever🤨
Generally voting and commenting keeps a topic on the wall unless it doesn’t, for reasons often too hard to fathom.
The Algo generally likes reviews, particularly with photos. It likes non commercial posts and strangest of all it likes posts in a foreign language. I can only assume from this that it has aspirations to be an international centre for creative thoughts 🤷♂️. Why as a weed site it openly hates the word ‘Cali’ is one mystery too far….😵💫

Interesting points. This is the first time I have posted a topic that has never appeared on the topics wall at all. Even now the review has votes and responses it is still invisible. We did go through a period where some Biggas were denouncing ALL Cali as basically fake- fuelled by the fact that the empty branded bags can be bought online for pennies. It raged for some time and I think “fake” and “Cali” might have become intertwined in the magnificent brain of the algorithm 🤓
A few bigga’s and myself actually thought topics where getting removed and in the archive 🙄
If it really is still the LB algorithm vs the word “Cali” (as stated by CleanUp Borg some time ago) then I simply despair 😞

Next time when topic goes archive, message cleanup borg and mention that your posts are not getting seen on the wall. Give it 2-3 days and it should all be fixed. That happens due to algorithm guess. Cleanupborg also should be able to give you the reason. It might not be you affected but RealD , so RealD just message the cleanupborg for your topics to reappear! Hope this has helped.

If you like Greg Davies and you like comedy I would have to recommend Cuckoo, there was about 5 seasons in the end. There are a few 420 moments as well as general carnage. Very funny!

right out the bag this stuff is slapping you in the face with the most textbook, pungent kush terps, really properly stinky, like REALLY stinky! perfect cure, perfect trim (UK style) smokes and tastes bloody lovely, clean ash and smooth as you like! plenty strong enough for most people's needs

So as the headline says tomorrow I embark on my vaping journey I have a mighty vape at the ready I’ve tried to vape in the past but never took it seriously and give up really easily was just wondering if you guys have any tips or advice
Good luck mate, went from 10-20 joints a day to just vaping on the mighty.
Kegs get the 40 pack save cleaning so much.
Heat up the unit then drop the keg in.
I start about 190 now and step up in 10s. But find what suits you can get some nice flavours lower like 155 or so.
Keep it clean or buy 3 cooling units and rotate they get caked in shit that is as sticky as spider man’s web fluid!!
The more it’s built up the harder it is to get off!!!!
Brace for the Bickel tickle, when I first switched it made me choke at back of throat from a slight tickle. Stick with it and you should get used to it, I never feel it anymore 🥳
Keep charger handy, if switching from blunts you might hit it hard like I did, so now I just use it and back on charge. No doubt fucking the battery cell but I’ll trust s and b to sort me out if it dies 😂
+1 for avb butter but be careful!!! I put like over 100g of avb in 1 block of butter and slowly steeped it all day at low temp. A slither of this butter on a slice of malt loaf would completely fuck me up beyond anything I’ve ever smoked 😂

Good luck and stick with it. It took me about 2 weeks to go from vaping being a poor alternative, to being what I actually preferred over a joint. My tastebuds definitely needed time to change…Also if you smoke tobacco, vaping CBD bud is a great alternative for times when you don’t want the high but need a smoke. Best decision I’ve made, you won’t look back!
Mighty <3 Keep it clean, thats the best tip. You can buy capsules you can fill herb into, saves alot of cleaning. KEEP YOUR AVB! Make some banging cannabutter when you have saved enough. Also, in my opinion, buy a stand for it, you can use the orange tool, put it in the slot backwards, but a proper plastic stand helps.

Invest in decent equipment firstly, there are good recommendations below, but it’s about being honest with how you consume now and replicating that with the appropriate device.
For a joint smoker an on demand vape or even a dynavap/dani fusion can replicate it well.
For a bong something with more capacity like a terpcicle could work well.
The high is different, but for me at least, far more controllable as to how high I want to get. Don’t listen to the scaremongering online, vaping can get you just as high if not more so!
Look forward to less hammering on the lungs and wallet and a far more flavoursome experience.

So guys I’m half way through the first day I’m allready preferring the taste of the vape to smoking and the effects seem like more of a high and less of a stone if that makes sense after my workout this morning I vaped some jungle boys cochino I literally used about 0.1-0.2 and the bowl lasted me around 15 mins and the taste was amazing for lunch I’m vaping some UK grown oreoz which tastes amazing also and the bowls seem to last longer I’m going to smoke a spliff this evening so will let you know I get on after my first day haha

Rocketdogronnie has some feco edibles (although I've not tried them.) I usually make my own chocolate or cookies from a mix of d9 and RSO. I definitely prefer the full spectrum high.
I’d vote for RocketDogRonnie’s feco edibles. They are an excellent way of getting very little done! I’m an edible lightweight so one glues me to the sofa. It’s a really nice high though like a warm hug.

I like mixing RSO and D9. The d9 from the wizards of oz has been consistently really strong. The RSO, for me, is a more balanced high although I know not everyone agrees. Gotta follow what works for you though man.

Just checking back in with a review of these wonderful wee bears from uWakeibake. They sent me a generous amount in the giveaway, and I already know and love these bears well. They give a lovely well balanced effect (perhaps the secret is the RSO they are made with, so therefore full spectrum?). Half is good for me to get things done with a gentle edge, a whole one gets me nicely in the zone. And so far they always get to me next day in the post. Smarter than the average bears!!

The bears taste great and have really nice consistency, I particularly enjoy the sour bears as they have really nailed that flavour. These little bears are really impressive. The gummy is slightly on the firmer side but is nice and chewy. Tasted lovely with a bit of a herbal edge to them.
Tried two to start, chewed them up well before dinner. Had a really nice mellow buzz going about 30 min later, very uplifting and warm. Lasted a good while fading after about 2.5 hours.
Had the remaining 5 together and effects were pretty strong as expected. Giggly buzz, couch locked for a bit, and had good legs on it. Watched two movies before I got off the sofa.

Hey, so the other night I had my gummies i won from the comp, they worked an absolute treat, my tolerance is high at the minute and so is my pain so I didnt mess around, I went astronaut mode and had all 7, they took the edge of so well and I was able to have a nice chill evening then even grot a decent sleep after, something thats gold dust at the minute so really did like them.

I asked a bear if he believed in the afterlife. He said he was agnostic... he just couldn't bear the uncertainty.
I found my way back with these bears after a 15 year break. Half a bear is just right for me for a very mellow feeling. It takes a good 90/120 mins for me to feel anything but then its just a warm gentle buzz for 3 to 4 hours.

Had 2 orders from YHM. (I will add here as a cover to all the buds, that in terms of structure, buds are fantastic, some a little drier here and there but overall plenty of terps, not over dense but still chunky. Obvs some fluffiness/terp coverage etc varies but all are very impressive from essentially 9 different strains total)
First was 2ozs from the 160 deal. We had Wedding Cake, Ice cream cake, Skywalker OG and Biscotti.

I picked up 1oz of the cali, and 1oz of the 160 deal again.

Oreoz - One of the most purple infused buds i have ever had. Also quite terpy, I don't think the flavour is as in your face as everything else, but a very typic oreoz heavy stone.
Lemon Poppers - I think this is my personal favourite of this order. Really nice strong lemon taste and smell. Bit like those lemon sherbet sweets. Had lemon poppers before, but the initial few draws caught me off guard quite heavy in the head, but then as quickly as it came, washed into a super energetic, euphoric high.
Super Runtz - Probably the best "Runtz" variety I have had as well. I have usually stayed away from Runtz phenos mostly due to the first couple of tries were disappointing. This is NOT disappointing. Got that citrusy/candy like smell and taste that I never got from the other ones i tried that everyone told me Runtz was about. A nice gassyness to this as well.
Finally, I might come back to edit this for Sunday/Sundae Driver, as I am balls deep high, and I don't know if I will make it through another J today. Time will till. But what I will say it that the buds are super frostied and there is a deep sweet smell thats tempting me.
I couldn't say which I think is better between the more expensive deal or not, but that is in no way a insult to anything, its is more how impressively good the buds are in the cheaper deal for the price.
To top it off. Hats off to one of the best stealth whilst keeping the buds themselves to nicely intact and loved.

Had 2 orders from YHM. (I will add here as a cover to all the buds, that in terms of structure, buds are fantastic, some a little drier here and there but overall plenty of terps, not over dense but still chunky. Obvs some fluffiness/terp coverage etc varies but all are very impressive from essentially 9 different strains total)

Same here, I'd seen their page before but hadn't ever ordered from them. I saw their £160 an oz offer in November and gave it a go. I was blown away by how good the bud was and I've had another order in since to try some of the other strains.

The Biker from YMH is even better than their Skywalker, IMO. Both are lovely and taste much the same but the Biker has the edge on potency.

One of the best (and most underrated) is Mystro/Mysdiggi in my opinion. It's so hard to say who I think is the absolute best because there's so many UK rappers who've mastered their craft (a lot have been mentioned in this topic), but Mysdiggi is criminally underrated and I always share his music where possible. He's got that REAL hip hop sound and he's a lyrical mastermind!

So much that I’ve tracked it down in hash, edibles, disty, live resin, wax…why I’ll take it in a dog turd!😝
I had 4 or 5 weed versions and not all Mimosa is created equal. Nothing has beaten the original- Smoggyman’s Portland Oregon version 🥰
And here’s a UK grown version from our very own Green Cat. No weed imo comes close to smelling as good as a good Mimosa. This smells great, a rich citrus. Those little sugar leaves are just loaded with trichomes.
I’m not normally one to fire up within seconds of opening the post, but it’s just irresistible this time.
it’s almost a crime to grind these sparklers. The smell is so intense now I can smell it on my fingers for hours. The flavour doesn’t match that intensity but it’s super fruity.
Mimosa takes me UP…I’m immediately cranking up the radio that was just background noise before…tuning the air guitar…looking like a twat….bothering people…feeling great🤗….it’s only 9am. I love Mimosa!
Is it as good as Smoggy’s?….🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁….I’ll vape through the Q before I decide!

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

There was a grower that was producing the strongest WW ever. It’s the closest weed I’ve had that when smoked could be mistaken for isolator.

Absolutely loved that strain. I remember queuing for a long time as I was there for the cannabis cup (2006). Grey Area’s queue was ridiculous on a normal day!

Had a few, NY Diesel and Fruity Pebbles from Gray Area in Amsterdam back in 2016/17ish.

buyed some weed in the dam in 2009 ish that made me space out totally, was strongest stone ever. i felt like i was on a different planet. was fun but a bit scary. cant remember the name but was sooooo strong i just walked around in circles for hours

i was going to the dam around that time and also had some of the LA confidential it was crazy strong and very dank tasting. it was one of the best we tried that trip, those grey mist crystals from grey area were something else too!

Northern lights terpenes are locked in my mind from 30 years ago. Bizarre how our minds can recreate that smell.
I'm a big fan of mimosa. First time I had that and sluricane I was quite pleased (they were nice examples). I think my all time favourite may have been a blue cheese amnesia cross, had it around Xmas time like 12 years ago. Point in time/context definitely has huge impact on decision. I once grew some purple punch (outdoor auto flower) only got like a Q of decent bud, after few months curing was lovely, that fact I grew it made it better than it was to me.

I have found that it's more to do with phenotypes and how they are grown. I've sampled different grows of the same strain and found the effects to differ with each one. Some of these grows have been some of the nicest in effects and then others of the same strain completely lack what was so nice about them.
Mine is probably some jungle cake, Mac or boss og, all of them I got from here. Such great strains. Even chemdawg and uk cheese are up there too.

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them
It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes 🤷🏻♂️.
Amnesia haze almost always gets me to a place of euphoria that's unmatched by other strains. Would love to find a strain that's more euphoric but out of the roughly 20 strains I've tried so far nothing has been more uplifting than ami.

As far as dominant sativa’s goes,I’ve always had a smile when bopping home with a bit of Amnesia in my sky.
I'd go with either MAC by citizen stash or wedding crasher by BLKMRT both outstanding. I also had a bit of alien sin mint cookies by BLKT, I kid you not the bud was bluish instead of purple, all these strains were from a couple years ago when I was living in Canada.

Jesus. This has hit me really hard. I’ve been smoking weed for 30 years. 11 weeks ago I had a huge (tennis ball sized) lump pop out of my neck. Dr diagnosed me as having an infection of the parotid gland (saliva gland). Antibiotics for a week, lump hung around for a month.
Had an ultrasound scan 3 weeks ago, turns out it’s a tumour 😞 Stopped smoking that day. 30 years crashed down on me during that one 15 min appointment.
Was immediately put in the NHS suspect cancer 2 week pathway. Had an FNA (biopsy) and an MRI scan 2 weeks ago. Here I am, awaiting the news. Avoided googling the shit outta this, then stumble across this post. Blown me away a bit. I mean, we all know smoking isn’t big or clever, but this has been the biggest wake up call of my life, obviously.
I am part of a very reputable profession, married for 25 years, 4 kids. The works. Here I am, absolutely petrified waiting on a phone call.
Long story sorry. Thought I’d share tho.

We believe it's the smoking that is the problem..you cannot get away from the dangers! But working with cannabis oil doesn't yield the unwanted effects and works as the plant intended. Can even yield the psychedelic effects and change things on a spiritual level way more than smoking! We believe in it as a psychedelic medicine just like our medicine! It has the power to change lives :-) Get well soon brother! You can change things around with changing your mind ;)

I had one in 2006. Turned out to be a pleomorphic adenoma- the most common kind. Thankfully it is benign and was out and touch wood I’m all good except I have a scar that makes me look like I was a ruffian in my younger years

Like I touched on, I’m (usually!) a rational person, but I haven’t googled anything about this. My wife has tho, a lot, she works within the NHS and has spoken to people in this field. We have an unspoken understanding atm and not really discussing it at all. Her mum passed away very young with a cancer in her neck, I know she’s in bits about this. This is breaking me inside.

The thought of facial surgery scares the bejesus outta me, but the thought of it not being malignant makes it more bearable.

So I have smoked weed with tobacco for these 30 years. Smoked cigarettes in the 90s, early 00s, then rolling tobacco. Never a ‘heavy’ fag smoker really, but a heavy joint smoker through (weed and tobacco). Bought a mighty vape last year in an effort to kick my combustion habbit. Used it twice as I really didn’t get in with it. Not smoked anything since my scan that confirmed a tumour, 4 weeks ago. Never found quitting so easy. Currently enjoying the benefits of not having a dependency of any sorts for the first time in my adult life. Felling a better dad and husband for it tbh.
Used a lot of chemicals in those 90s/00s years and have had an ‘unhealthy’ relationship with alcohol since covid, which I have got on top of over the last 9 months.

Just to add to all the brilliant advice here; alcohol has been found to be considerably carciogenic if you can abstain it will massively help. Avoiding anything processed or containg high amounts of sugar will encourage better health and if you subscribe to the school of thought that suggests cancer cells thrive on glucose it may even help with reducing or preventing cancerous growth.
Mate, sending you all the best for good news. My friend just went through this and is out the other side after having it removed. Was scary for her waiting on the results, and then getting the face surgery. But she's all good now and has a sick scar to show for it. Sending all my best thoughts your way.

I mean, that makes sense.. I don't think anything is really *supposed* to be combusted and inhaled. I know so many people already preach and I don't just wanna be another one, but dry herb vapes truly are a great way to consume. Bud lasts longer, tastes better AND you get avb to use in edibles at the end! I'll still be bongin' and spliffin' it up but it's great to have so many options nowadays
No doubt dry herb vaping is almost certainly way better in terms of health risks than smoking (I also do it as well as edibles). On the other hand, the research on the health risks for dry herb vaping is still extremely limited. Inhaling hot particulates (which still happens with vaping) tends to be no bueno for health.
Very true. We're still kind of in the infancy of cannabis research. We know the long term effects of cigarettes and alcohol but, with the legality of weed over the years, we've still got so many unanswered questions about it. And dry herb vapes really haven't been around that long either. I just hope that we get some conclusive answers in our lifetimes...
I think carts are going to prove a massive roadblock for cannabis development and freedom because of growing health concerns. WithTHCA, D8 & D10 workarounds these are available all across N.America now and the demand is huge with consumers able to puff through 1ml carts or more every single day. Chemical contamination is rife. These things ARE addictive. California is reporting rapidly increasing needs for specialist pulmonary treatments amongst all ages and new clinics are opening rapidly.

As much as I want to believe that the convenience and discretion of carts is a positive thing, sadly you're 100% spot on. People doing blinkers and landing themselves in hospital isn't an uncommon occurrence in the US, I think seby G (weedtuber) had an incident like that. People going through a gram of 90%+ THC distillate in a day is just insane on so many levels. And as far as contaminants, I 100% believe there's more contaminated carts in the world than legit ones. By a big margin. From pesticides and vitamin E acetate all the way up to spice-laden disposables now prevalent across the UK. It's really a worrying trend and the demand for carts is going up by the day.....

I wouldn't be surprised at all tbh, 900mg of pure THC every single day cannot be a good thing. Plus there's no entourage effect with disty carts, which is good for some but I personally think the other terps and cannabinoids are what "makes" a high. Even so, rosin/live resin carts must still have 70%+ THC a lot of the time. Overconsumption is the worst thing anyone can do with weed imo, stay within your limits and enjoy it! Don't just get to an 11/10 high all day every day

I love vaping more then smoking but I've found I go through it quicker when I vape. Are you a consistent and daily vaper?
Pretty much, yeah, but I go through phases. I'll definitely go through more bud when vaping compared to bongs but joints not so much. The vape high is more enjoyable though in my opinion
Vaping flowers is deffo my fave way, I just find I go through it a bit!
I read recently that when we vape flowers the high effect dissipates faster then when you smoke it but you get a stronger thc high then you would smoking.

Saw out the late 90's bouncing from club to club with a house, hard house, trance & techno soundtrack to my life (which only ended in the past decade or so 😀)

Mate, this reads like I wrote it! I’m was (and still am!) a huge Carter fan! Proper tuned me in to the world, their lyrics still stand strong now. Got me socially aware and into hip hop, then I got into the tail end of the rave/club scene. Onto trip hop,and the 00’s indie scene a bit. Listen to mostly 90s hip hop and industrial stuff now!

As the 90's started I'll admit to being into American Rock artists like Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt and Kiss. Also liked a bitta Journey, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon. Still have a lot of my tapes and records from back in the day. I've converted one room into a Music room. Got a tape deck, turntable, CD and MP3 player all wired into a decent set of speakers. But back to the 90's.
Must have been summer 92 that I went to my first rave. I live in NI so we those that are fimilar with things will remember Kellys in Portrush. Spent many saturday nights dancing to some amazing house music. Some epic tunes by artists who'se names I never did get, to loved up to care! As long as there was a big beat, piano break, hands in the air we didn't care. #goodtimes

Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.
I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

I was going so say mimosa, no matter how good it is, those orange terps remind me of burning rubber. Strange.
So glad I’m not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.
I’d say Stardawg too, just because it was fuckin everywhere and was normally sub par.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.
I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the “mouth watering “ descriptions completely pass me by…occasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyho…

I hear you, I’d say I’m less of a flavour hunter too and more just looking for ways to encourage variety. I’ve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. I’m not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbh…

I definitely taste different flavours. And Mimosa makes me sick 😂 Saying that I usually taste weed as it smells until I’ve smoked a couple spliffs. Then it’s hit or miss. Weird 😂 That’s the wonderful thing with Cannabis. The variety is astounding so everyone and their preferences are catered for 😁
Bang on, I’m not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.
Hate the taste but iv yet to find a strain that is almost comparable to taking codine for feel good factor. I’ll smoke dry straw for that

The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. It’s always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

Anything with piney terps for me - just really reminds me of those car air fresheners 🤮🌲 not a fan. Dunno if I am on my own with that one lol
Lemon Tree is the strain I most dislike. I use to love a good lemon skunk or lemon haze 20 years ago. Not the same anymore.
Super silver haze. Smelled like cats piss and had no body high. Muscles felt restless and uncomfortable.
All 'Haze' are sativa dominant aren't they, so yeah, you get the head high but no body chill. I know what you mean about muscles feeling that way - I get achey neck/shoulders and back and no body chill, and that's with various hybrids.
that's an easy answer ... any that don't get me high (normally not a strain blame, more a grower blame) ... so reckons the jackal 😎😎
Way back I got some free seeds with the seeds I ordered. NYC diesel they were, so I grew them and was so disappointed, it tasted awful. Haven't really gone for diesel since. Have smoked loads of diesel cross.
Everest is another, it's not that I dislike the taste/high etc, but I find if I'm on it for multiple days then it really brings my mood down.

Haha I fully agree with cookiedawg - one of the most vile tasting strains I've had lol, the terps just don't mix well together.
I also hated 24k Gold - it just made me feel sick the 2 separate times I had that strain.

I've not tried the Tropicana strains, but I do agree about the Tangies as I don't get on with the taste of them either.
Tropicana strains when grown well are top tier however in my experience they seem to be hard strains to get right, I’ve probably tried 10-15 different versions of Tropicana cookie/cherry/banana and only 2 of them were really good (but I mean really good) a few of them were alright (nothing to write home about) and the rest were pretty awful with almost no terps and black ash.
I get a vibe from some strains, mainly I’d describe more indica leaning and berry types.
Makes me introspective. Can get dark. But it’s also when you swim in the creative madness of semi-subconscious which when young, or in the wrong place can be no different than a mushroom experience.
Set and setting applies with *all* consumption I think 🤔 but I have a theory that plants also pick up on the vibe of their grower + there is also just a 💩 grow, right?

anything purple for me, i have no idea why and its sad because it looks so pretty but it doesn't agree with me.

At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

To be fair to the vendors on here I've not had any of the strains I've mentioned from anyone on LB. There's definitely more exciting strains to me available here so I'm unlikely to backtrack just to make sure I don't like it though.
My gorilla grow of 10 strains that was rumbled contained GG.

We got some fresh zkittlez in. I really dislike haze tho just smells of roach spray honestly . Idk how it got so famous
Never been a big fan of Papaya strains, always got a weird taste to them that doesn’t agree with me.
I don't get the haze hate though I love Silver Bubble / SSH / Arjans Strawberry Haze / Mango Haze / Blue Dream etc
My sense of taste and smell never recovered from COVID so it can be difficult getting the flavour and smell nuances between strains. I can taste and smell the extremes though, crap and amazing. My preference is definitely Indica leaning as I've got older. I don't want to be introspective, going over all my life's choices! A lot of hybrids are fine. Don't have time for hazes.

Dislike any orange strains personally. Also not a huge fan of gelato 41. It’s too sweet and lingers on the lips in our opinion. If you enjoy the sweeter strains then probably your cup of tea
Iv not figured out the common denominator but some strains have me feeling I can’t be arsed with anyone or anything in a none good way and like a what’s the point type feeling.

8 Diagrams is another album I love. Keep coming back to it. So my contribution is 'Life Changes' (the absence of Ghostface on the track speaks of the deep divisions within the crew).
It is a shame and it's still going on, Ghostface and Raekwon are both unhappy with the tv show for example, the way they were unhappy with RZA and the artistic choices he made on 8 Diagrams, luckily Wu is forever.
