If LB took Monero I would be __so__ happy.

I also use blockchain wallet and send fees CAN be lower late night/early morning but it is just trial and error. For example, at 7am the other day I was sending 0.0017 btc (£70+) and the fee was £6+ but an hour later it was just over £2.20 At that point I go to the custom fee setting and it tells me "regular" fee is 15 sats/b, so I change that to 10 (about 75%) and the fee comes down to £1.50. The order on LB is PAID within about 10 minutes but the blockchain wallet transaction actually takes 2-3 hours to CONFIRM. This doesn't appear to affect the status of my order, it is still PAID. I have even set the custom fee to about half the regular sat/b, and it has taken 24 HOURS to confirm but the order on LB was PAID within a few minutes. Now, I could have just been lucky so be careful with custom fees but this has worked for me a couple of times so far! :)

I use blockchain wallet and I buy btc on localbitcoin's link to my local btc exchange service.
Idk why blockchain wallet gets such a bad rep btw. Been using it 2-3 years without any issues.

I've heard that coinomi is cheap but ive not tried it.
The way i do it is by sending a large amount of money to electrum wallet. From there you can set your own tx fee. At a good time of day the fee can be just 10 sats/byte. Use txstreet to get an idea of the current network fee

The send fee is a lot higher than that on cb. You may want to double check

Crypto.com has similar fees plus a minimum spend of 0.003 which was £120 (!) but more like £105 now. Loony toons!

I use Edge. You can set you transaction fees to Low (makes the transaction slower but it not affected any purchase of mine at all). It charges around £2-£3 to send to a BTC Address.

We need an alternative ASAP, I have seen a few topics on this but I can see Vendors and buyers being really affected by all this Bitcoin nonsense.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could use monero or arrr, perhaps xrp for next to nothing fees

Hi, Yes I agree it's just getting ridiculous, Cpay wanted nearly the equivalent of £14 for me to send .001 BTC!

Been checking Bitpanda fees every day for the last week by setting up a purchase on here but not completing the transaction, that's the only way I know to check their current fees which then display prior to confirming transaction.
For the last week fees have hovered around £17.50 to £18 which is prohibitive for me.
I guess if I want to move my BTC to another wallet it would cost me a similar amount just to do that then another fee to send to vendor, is that right?
can anyone suggest another way or is it just a case of waiting for a quiet time to do it? Feeling trapped by these fees even on a 7g purchase
