Crypto is based on verification of all the steps in transactions, so is far from anonymous. However, this is separate legislation recently introduced. Easiest thing is to get your own non-KYC wallet like Exodus or Phantom, send to this and tell Paybis that you're sending to yourself, then send to LB from that. It'll cost you a few dollars more in fees, but provides a layer of separation for the transaction.

It's an extra step but you can honestly say that the wallet is yours, however there no actual linking to you, and it costs an extra couple of dollars at most for the extra step. Glad you sorted it out easily!

No, just make a Cake wallet, send to there, then to the vendor wallet.

No need to over think this, happened to me today - I just selected the option to send to an exchange and randomly chose one (think it was bitchain) and the transaction went through with no issues :)

The exact same thing happened to me this morning and i am quiet concerned about if am honest with my fellow biggaz.

I've been using Paybis for a long while now without any issue. I use to just put the amount in crypto i wanted to buy along with the external wallet address and away you go but today there asking for the recipients first and last name and weather or not they are an individual or corporation. There also asking me to verify my identify.

Anyway as soon as i saw that i just cancelled the order as i didn't feel very comfortable going ahead with it.

Feels like a bit of a fork in the road which i'm not sure how to tackle?

Is this the end of LB or is there a suitable workaround please?

I would be interested to hear you guys thoughts on this.

"is this the end of LB"? No lol, just the end of doing it lazily. Open a Cake wallet, it's free, send from Paybis to your own personal Cake Wallet that you've just made, then send from there. There's absolutely zero reason NOT to send to a private wallet first, it's what you seriously should be doing. Every single time.

You'll still need to verify your identity, unfortunately for you and all of us, Exchanges are required by law to implement KYC (Know Your Customer) rules. If you don't want to share your ID, your only other option is Peer to Peer. That works by buying from individuals directly, so ofcourse more risk, but only secure method.

You've already given your information to them, so tell them the same thing. No-one else is asking in this chain.

I'd recommend Exodus and Phantom as reliable non-KYC wallets.

What is the point of adding an extra step if it's all on public blockchain and they can just see that it went from your account to your other account to transaxe? How is that better than going directly from your account to transaxe?

More work for someone to make the connection, and there are loads of stories about people having their accounts suspended due to suspicion, whether by exchanges of Revolut. None of that after it's sent to a non-KYC wallet then onwards.
