u are best having your own external wallet and send BTC to lb from there .. I purchase on coinbase and send to my atomic wallet .. then send the coin to lb from there ( that way the exchange only ever see's u sending to yourself ) .. hope that might assist 😎

This is excellent advice. Get a non-KYC wallet like Exodus, and tell the exchange you're sending it to yourself. It'll cost a few more quid in fees to then send on, but you're putting a layer between the purchase/transfer at least.

electrum is good, you can use that as a base to send your coins to biggy. i use mine with tails os for extra security. non kyc exchanges as well to get your coins its the best way to stay safe

its just to remove any sort of indetifier to yourself. for example i would use a non kyc exchange for the initial transaction via tor then have it sent to my wallet on tails OS which is very anonymous. this way nobody has a copy of my driving license or passport. theres no middleman force closing my account because of suspicious activity etc a la coinb ase. i just like to be fully in control of the process without any vulnerable information being stored on some dodgy server

Heard Wasabi is good paired with p2p like hodl hodl, it gives you more control and your not relying on an exchange.

As others have mentioned. I use blue wallet. Then I use the ramp network to buy and send bitcoin (will need ID to verify though). Ramp has been the cheapest way I've found. Revolut use ramp but you can also go to ramp themselves.

I may as well get universal credit to send directly to my exodus. Not proud. But true.

Hey! I also have issues with anxiety so I really feel for you. Especially if weed can alleviate it. How come an ID is an issue? If it’s personal use amounts, and you send to an anonymous wallet like Exodus first before sending to LB, I really don’t think anyone is gonna be tracking you. The gov has bigger fish to fry and is incompetent anyway. I’ve been spending 1-2k a year on here for 2.5 years without issues. Mostly using Bittylicious - you just need to scan your passport once and wait a day or so. I think they will be asking for an NI number too sadly, but not til 2027 I believe. And even then I’m not sure it’s a dealbreaker.

However, if you need to buy without ID, there are peer to peer services available where you can remain anonymous. I forget the name but hopefully another Bigga can advise (I’ll look for it too and update if I find it). I’ve never used them but people on here def use them successfully.

Really appreciate the replies and the time you took to help, unfortunately one of the options helped. Coinomi require ID to buy bitcoin and hodlhodl don't accept any payment methods I use. It's unfortunate but I'm going to accept I cannot use cannabis anymore. This was just a desperate hail mary, one final effort to see if it was possible and somewhat simple.

There aren't any in the UK as far as I'm aware. I checked an none showed up. These new kyc rules that were introduced really killed it for me. It really sucks as it was was for medicinal use.

^ a couple others have recommended but I haven’t used myself. Also Exodus wallet has some good options baked in as well for purchasing BTC. I’d recommend Bittylicious tho (even with its ID requirement), it’s the easiest method.

One final thing - I’d recommend services that work via transfer rather than card - my friend had his card red flagged over Bitcoin purchases (no consequences beyond being blocked from making any more but still). Transfers seem to always be green flagged.
