Hey guys and gals, just offering my humble advice on growing. Was active for around 10yrs. I have done indoor, outdoor, soil, hydro, clones. Also made extracts like bho, bubble, dry sift, jelly hash, dry ice. Also experience from the legal side as I was eventually busted with over £100,000 worth of plants, even made the daily star, lol.Have a bit of knowledge about most things cannabis related, been in the game over 25yrs and have seen it all, so hit me up with questions i’d Be happy to help.
LEDs are great for growing weed because they run a lot cooler you can get your light a lot closer to the plant without getting plant burn, damage. They are a lot cheaper to run in the last 2 to 3 weeks of flower use a uvb light known to increase THC by a least 10% .
I’m still undecided on the subject. I’m actually an electrician so i install both types regular, and recently more and more led installs. LEDs are right up there in terms of lumens and the spectrum can be variable to quite a degree. But unless your willing to spend a couple of grand on a led grow light your not going to get anything on par with hps. You do save a little on electric but because of lower temps with leds I’ve heard of some local growers here having to run heaters in grow rooms(cold climate here) which defeats the saving on electric. Long term for pro with good setups LEDs are prob best way to go if your put some good money into it initially. Will save over long term. But if your doing a small grow 1 plant I”d stick to a cheap hps 250 or 400 would be fine and only about £80.
Truely honest, never. It’s great not feeling like a criminal anymore, buying meds from dodgy characters, putting money into terrorist hands, just to get high. Now it feels so normal, just like eBay. Long live L.B
