Hey minmin I suffer from chest pains none stop and coughing from smoking for years + ADHD and have a history of family smoke related illnesses im just a fool to follow but I can’t help myself. I’ve recently over the last year tried other none smoking methods to get high with great success hence the edibles shop lol, it drastically cut down my smoking and allowed me to feel happy and more energetic helping me breath better imo. Eddy I’m sorry to hear that :( I completely understand. I was once addicted to cigarettes and tobacco in spliff started it off. So I moved to vaping because it smells less and I actually prefer the high. Edibles I really enjoy but rarely have them. Maybe you’re right … maybe I should just medicate via edibles.

I find the leb helps. Seems to be the sweet spot. Calms the mind snd I can focus (and feel “normal” whatever that is?!}

Some of the racier morrocan hybrids are a bit much.

Not smoking is the hard bit, I mainly smoke but try and vape without huge success.

Diagnosed with BPD, but I also think this was a misdiagnosis. They screwed my sister up with drugs, so I've always medicated with herb. I used to mix with booze, but knocked that on the head years ago. Now, it's edibles and sativa strains to keep focus and flow. I crash sometimes, but generally, I sustain work like a ninja, excel in my craft, and do all this while baked.

My advice is to integrate exercise into your routine. A dependence on any illegal substance to sustain mental health will always be a problem if there's no substance around. I used weed as part of a conscious effort to relieve pain and neurosis! Again, exercise is my other go to to relieve this.

I’m sorry to hear that you and your sister have both had bad experiences :( I was initially given Quetiapine for my “BPD” and then was diagnosed with AHDH and given Concetta (on 27mg currently) and then was taking both and it just made everything 104884 x worse. These meds doctors prescribe you is actually disgusting. I’d rather just smoke weed everyday to help.

Regarding strains - I’ve always had indica based strains for my MS but fully appreciate that sativa helps the ADHD aspect.

My ADHD meds give me little to none appetite and the weed actually helps thank the lord. Gosh I got to skinny after my ADHD diagnosis. Exercise I try to do but with the amount of food I’m taking in I’ve been advised by the Dr to do as little exercise as possible.

Many thanks for the kind sentiment, Min. A little exercise is still exercise, so you might be good! Maybe you could implement some edibles, talk to the doctor, and maybe start to build up a bit? A long journey is always an enlightening journey!

Weed works wonders for my ADHD. Was so bad before I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder but its only ADHD. Low-medium strength strains do the trick for me, I don't even necessarily feel high but I can ploy through work without any executive dysfunction for hours. Maybe not quite as effective as ritalin but it has way less side effects for me

I agree with you here. I was diagnosed with ADHD a couple years back and I struggled a lot. Was misdiagnosed with BPD and then they realised that it’s ADHD. I find it very strange how weed helps me focus. For neurotypical people it does the opposite.

I’m in a similar boat, waiting for a referral for adhd but after smoking/vaping some leb or similar I can get stuff done and focus. Rest of the time I’m a chaotic mess!
