You won't know what your edibles tolerance is so its trial and error. Avoid the error by going low (cutting the sweet to size if necessary). The legal max single serve in the US is 10mg. That dose has me flying (but also laughed at). There are Biggas who don't bat an eyelid at 500mg although its not always easy to know if dosing is accurate. Assume it is and go sub 50g, preferably 25g. Do not top up for at least 1 hour...

Hi all, so I've tried weed and carts. Now looking at edibles, people to help with relaxation and sleep. So looking for two things.
1) recommendations on best vendors for edibles, don't mind imports as I'm looking for consistency
2)best type for sleep/couch lock experience
Use, what strength should I be looking at, I know everyone's tolerance is different but if looking at gummies how many should I eat in the first instance?

Looking at the posts from various sellers in this thread though I'd like to point out that not all edibles are equal - not merely in terms of actual dosage i.e. quantity in mgs - but maybe more importantly in the actual extract used: i.e d9 vs RSO vs Shatter.
I used to buy those tiny fuzzy bears from several vendors here and they used to pack a ridiculous wallop, even 12.5mg were brutal.
I suspect they were made with shatter but if someone could shed some light on the difference in potency between the various extracts used for edibles then we could shed some light on the whole thing.

Just like polly said 10mg is strong enough for "normal" people so that should be your starting point. If that does nothing there's a good chance your liver can't break it down properly which is also common but if that's the case just don't waste money on edibles. I got chocolate bars that are accuratley dosed you can start with a small square to get a baseline and go fro there.
