I could do with some help here.
Have any of you purchased BTC in sthe USA using BTC ATMs?
I'm going there soon and am hoping that I can purchase some BTCs using my debti card and UK phone.
I know there are some BTCs which will only accpet cash and I could look into that as a last resort but what about using a UK registered mobile phone?
Providers am looking at are Coinhub, CoinFlip and LibertyX.

Never used them mate, but surely you're best off using cash if possible, then sending that to a non-KYC wallet like Exodus, for maximum anonymity?

I have been running on edibles for an entire year now and have been thinking of moving onto distillates.
Do you guys have any recommendations about distillates on LB?
I prefer RSO but am open to D9 suggestions too :-)
If I am correct is (quasi)odorless so supposedly it would be an easy thing to take on a trip (the trip being both figurative and literate).

Black.Gold’s RSO is excellent. Really thick, very clean and decently strong. I use it for back pain and also recreationally and its great for both. Tried lots of it from different vendors here and I think this is perhaps the best
Distillate on its own i wouldn't recommend, you get high, but zero other affects, like 'happy' 'euphoric' etc
That being said i got a 1ml bit of rso last week and ate the whole thing in one day, was smoking too, was kinda shocked cause the sellers rso had incredible rep, even if their stuff is cheapest on lb. They had to re-launch shop so i guess it was just old stock or something.
I'd recommend Sensi's 50/50 distillate live resin, or even better the 100% live resin, if you don't want to vape it all you can use safety pin to extract it from cart and spread it on paper.

RocketDogRonnies FECO is pretty special. I prefer it to most RSO and a lot better than distillate 👍

I was unaware of this but since the 1st of Jan 2024 those well known online selling businesses have been reporting to the T@xm@n.
I am in a bit of a mess right now and while researching this I came across this:

More than a year ago I was banned from coinbase for paying directly from my coinbase account.
I have learned a hard lesson but I'm curious about what/how far they could actually trace the transactions.
Can one merely trace back to transaxe or can one trace back to individual vendors?

Transaxe alone, I'd imagine mate. Check the addresses you send to: are they ever the same? It's all traceable, yet you'll never be sending to a wallet address that has things sent to it previously (this is traceable online...). When you get a small referral payment there's often a large associated payment piggybacking with that in the one transaction. Someone is well aware of traceability, and they work here, thankfully. Traceability is most critical at entry and exit of the system...

Since transaxe generate a new wallet address for every transaction I don't believe for one minute that these transactions are traced. At the same time anyone making repeated small-ish send orders is almost certainly buying illegal product. What else would it be?- why would anyone pay silly fees to buy legal products?
Do Coinbase care at that point?...nope but they have to show they are doing something to keep their house in order so they go after the micro-fry like us. If you were shifting vast amounts to move arms across the middle east or central europe that would be fine. But by showing that they have frozen hundreds of accounts (at no cost to themsleves) they attempt to demonstrate they have clean hands.
Thats my view anyway....

I was banned from nexo for the same reason. Revolut didn't even let me send bitcoins to an unknown address, asking me first for the reason and an identifier of the recipient, I then tried typing in my binance address and as if by magic the recipient was no longer unknown because my name came up as the recipient. In any case, I have never had any problems sending payment from binance, at least so far. Wouldn't it be better to buy a hard wallet and transfer payments directly from there?
Just get a non-KYC wallet like Exodus and send to and from there. Use something similar for any referral payments, considering what we're saying about tracking and traceability.

I just placed an order and when on the payment page there were a couple of new options.
I cannot remember the exact phrasing but they were two options along the lines of "pay from exchange" and "pay from card" or whatever.
Did I miss something here? Can we now pay using cards and/or bank accounts?

It's been like this since I joined LB. It just directs you to places that you can pay for BTC via those methods. Probably to help newbies out a bit

I suspect most FCA endorsed exchanges use AI to spot dodgy transactions and customers at this stage.
After being banned from coinbase form sending direct to LB, ditto with eToro and after a couple of succesful transfers from my new Revolut account to Atomic Wallet Revolut has now blocked my AW.
I had a lengthy chat with their support and I tried not to be too unpleasant but I was pissed off having just purchased 250£ of BTC through them.
They won't tell me why of course and there is no way they could know what I do with my AW BTCs (please do correct me if I'm wrong).
The only explanation I can think of is that they have an automated way of spotting potentially suspicious behaviours like the following: customer buys BTCs every other month and immediately transfer them to an external wallet but never activated their useless credit card and is not using any of their other services.
If my intuition is correct then I am looking at getting banned and/or seeing my second line wallet blocked permanently every so often (Revolut actually made it clear tha t I would not be able to send to AW ever again).
The implication is that I will have to constantly move from exchange to exchange and from hardware wallet to hardware wallet.
Any other biggas already living this nomadic crypto life?

They can type the address you use for receiving (the one in your AW).
They could type it into one of these btc tracker sites, that show transaction fees, blockchain info, etc.
Try typing your wallets address here in link above, and every single transactioin you've made should be listed.
It's not ideal thats for sure.

This one sucks big time.
On the first I bought some weed from Green Cat and the transaction went through.
Now I realized that I hadn't heard back from the Cat and the order is not showing up in my order list.
The BTCs were sent from Atomic Wallet and have definitely been received by Transaxe as the order was marked as paid.
I did place an order straight after with My Natural Medicine and this was fine.
So I have 200+ $ which have vanished .
I do have the transacation hash and the send address in my wallet.
Has this happened to anyone and what should I do next?

I've given them the time/BTC amount/BTC network fee/send address & TX hash so hopefully they can sort me out.

So I sent a PM to Transaxe Support and gave the Green Cat a heads up as instructed on the Transaxe help thread.
The Cat has now gotten back to me saiyng he had received the order and the oz is on its way - tracking number and all.
This place feels like heaven 😇

Just when I thought I was out of trouble those mofos are at it again!
So those of you might remember that one year ago my UK Bank started to block my BTC purchases made using a well-known Exchange.
After much pain and suffering I ended up using a UK FCA approved Exchange.
I was alright for a year and this month I spent a bit more than normal as I wanted to stash up for the Winter/Xmas.
It looks like I attracted the wrong kind of attention as my Exchange emailed me this:

Please clarify your connection and the purpose of the following transfers that you made from his wallet to the following BTC addresses:
Please also clarify if these addresses belong to his private wallet or are part of a service and provide supporting documents, (for example screenshots) that corroborate your explanation and explain the crypto strategy.
Please also note that we have temporally limited your wallet in the interim.
To continue using and enjoying our services, please provide the requested information above within the next 28 days.

So far I would just use their wallet to send BTC to vendors on LB without going through another wallet.
I'm interested to hear from other biggas who might have the same experience recently and would of course appreciate any tips or insights they can share.
I've just replied to my exchange claiming that these transactions were transfers towards my other wallets given that they locked me in with their own.

What crypto exchange are you using? I'm a crypto fanatic with verified accounts with 5 different exchanges here in the UK, to keep my options open. I've never heard of a problem like you're facing, so my advice would be to change exchanges or set up your own wallet, like Trust Wallet or something similar. I really am curious to which exchange is giving you grief. I think you name and shame em man.

Maybe you are hinting at application of the travel rule.
I've been doing some research and reading on what is happening and I agree that this very much look like it.
I saw that - thanks to the usual culprits - the law has been changed and has kicked into effect this Autumn. I started this topic also as a warning because we might start seeing more of this stuff now that some kyc exchanges are being regulated.
I think the guidance state that the transaction should be blocked until the required information has been obtained about the nature/target of the transaction).
In my case this seems to have been done retroactively, they might have a threshold on the transaction amount which triggered their request for documents and/or explanation.
Either way I haven't heard back from them yet, I figured if they have the means to trace the transaction so far as to gather evidence to challenge my explanation I can always 1) pretend I got mixed up between transactions or 2) ask to have my money back or btc transferred somewhere else and close the account.
That or they might just be ticking the box and log my statement somewhere for compliance.
In which case my bluff won't be called...

Transaxe always use the same address, at the beginning it's always the same, and if you check the blockchain you'll see a vast number of transactions are using transaxe.

All SegWit addresses start with 'bc1' or '3' friend. Legacy addresses start with '1'. It's not a Transaxe thing, it's not possible to change the first character(s) beyond what I just mentioned.
A new address is generated for every transaction, you can see this for yourself if you copy and paste the Transaxe address into blockchain.com, I believe this is a requirement for payment processors here.
You can dive deeper than that tho if you know what I mean.
As for the original post, Revolut, Monza etc are crypto-friendly and won't have an issue with you buying from Coinbase or Kraken.
If you change your bank and just use a non-KYC exchange like Banxa or Moonpay you will certainly have no issues.
A new address is generated for every transaction, you can see this for yourself if you copy and paste the Transaxe address into blockchain.com, I believe this is a requirement for payment processors here.
You can dive deeper than that tho if you know what I mean.

I've been doing what you are trying to avoid. Can confirm I was charged over 35$ to buy and send 290$ worth. Ended up getting absolutely stroked as though they have just upped the fees for transferring to my own wallet and I'm considering my alternatives now. Help

Just get your own wallet i use atomic wallet, fees aren't the best but i imagine not the worst either.👍

They then transferred what I had left into my bank account after converting the BTC in dollars.
I have now opened an account with Revolut and have transferred BTC to my Atomic Wallet.

I’ve noticed with atomic wallet there’s a ‘simplex fee’ aswell as an atomic fee so basically paying commission to two places. Also have you noticed you have to pay fees when network fees when buying on atomic but not on coinbase.
All of that combined with the network fee back up means it’s gonna cost me around 190 for a 150 order on here, not sure if I can justify 😩

Am curently stashing up like a squirrel on acid (hint: guess what I just bought...).
Edibles on the way too so now I just need a bit of green for my Vapcap (I like to top up my edible with a few tokes on the vapcap just to keep the edge ON).
Question: recommended budget bud (preferably sativa but am not fussy if the bud is cheap and cheerful)?

I did quit tobacco in 2009 but had a relapse in 2013 to 2018.
I had been using Honeyrose herbal mix which is absolutely disgusting and makes you cough your lungs out.
There were times when I could get my hands on some proper afghan hash which I could then eat but Dynavap is amazing.
A friend bought me one of those USB powered vaping devices but it was a real pain to use and would need recharging al the time.
The dyna you can take out in your pocket for commando type smoking operations :-)

Totally depends what price you're wanting to pay, GeneticsHub has had some cracking UK aswell & if I remember correctly they're getting more at some point. But it would probably come at more the higher end of "budget" 🤷♂️

Guides I've read online seems to class anything sub 0.5 as a microdose. Like with everything, how much you take really changes from person to person and what you personally want from it. I microdose between 0.2 and 0.4 depending on the strain. I always start with 0.2 - 0.3 and see how I react. I can then always increase my dose should I need to 👍

Agreed, the strain does make quite a difference. I usually microdose with Golden Teachers and find that 0.25g is about right for me. I then got some APE Reverts from SOTL and 0.25g of those was a bit too much, almost felt like a threshold dose tbh.

Why not try a dry herb vape over liquids,just regular old bud rather than liquids,that's what I do now I have stopped on tobacco,now I've stopped combusting even blunts don't taste nice much more flavour with a dry herb.

Id say get a reasonably priced battery at first and try some of the 50/50 blends available here, some lovely Resin/THC blends are available from a few vendors but my favourites ive tried so far for value and effectiveness are the 50/50 Shatter/THC ones from The Great Vape Company.

did you get yourself a 510 battery, which one did you get? I have a PASO, very elegant and discreet with 3 voltage settings made for heavy oil, used if with PASO own brand of CBD oil cart but works well with THC live resin and others. they are cheap on amazon, but get better deal if you get it with a CBD cart direct. check on Google PASO CBD.

Isn't it great when you get good customer service I'm currently being ignored by a vendor who was happy to take my money but not respond to messages and can't remember if he posted my item in a post box, My 1st dispute coming I think and with over a 100 orders I'm a bit pissed off its got to this but nevermind. Yeah seems there's some vendors on here playing games sort the people out who leave write ups get the reviews in then start ripping people off. Not good, just a shame the great growers on here don't always have products available.

I found out about LB in Feb this year and have finaly joined for pretty much the same reasons as everyone else here.
I've only placed two orders so far but am on a steep learning curve here.
My first order turned up the next day and was an RM Special Delivery. Nice :-)
My second one still hasn't arrived and was a first class RM :-(
I have seen people (and have a friend who orders on the dark web) saying that first class is best to avoid seizure.
So my question is: is it safer to order using regular first class RM? Does Special and Next Day deliveries get looked into more?
Obviously it is easier for first class items to "go missing" as these aren't tracked but what I am mostly interested in is stealth here.
Any insight offered/experience much welcome!

I’m pushing 100 orders on here and my advice would be: order small & with reliable stealth (preferably boxed) and seizure is not a risk worth worth worrying about. It’s a zero sum game for RM to get involved, nothing but a pain in the arse. They do it when they handle large stinky packages that generally offer them no option.
So that said, in terms of seizure risk I don’t think type of delivery makes any difference. Buy tracked so you can confirm it’s been sent, simple as that for me.
Like others, I’ve only ever had non tracked packages go missing. I’m convinced that’s because they were never sent.

Having sent over 2000+ 1st class large letters in the past 3 years, and only 3 not turning up (one of which the customer openly admitted was likely stolen from a communal post area), I can be 99% sure in your summation that your packages were never sent in the first place.
Reputable vendors using 1st Class are just as reliable as any other method.
Trust the vendor's reputation. Simple as that.

Yep. I've only ever had Regular 1st class go missing & like Polly I'm sure the order was never sent. I`ll only order from vendors with tracking now. I just feel it's "safer" for everyone involved.

Some vendors on here saying they use NDD when in actual fact they’re not or the package has not been sent at all. G6 and Canadian Imports from personal experience always land next day as well as Dr Green thumb. I’m going to stick with trusted vendors on here from now on. Been messed about with postage far too often recently and comms and prompt postage are two of the most important things to me. Once you find out a vendor has lied to you then I am pretty hesitant to use them again unfortunately.

Hi Duke there we offer both services Special delivery which will get there next day before 1pm and also for the smaller packages people still like 1st class even though it has been a nightmare of late it seems to be in the back to some form of normality

But Beck was the best UK rock guitar player ever. What he did with feedback predates Hendrix, Jimi himself said it.
In my opinion - and I've played Fender Strats for a long time - he is the only one who advanced the Strat post-Jimi.

Coinbase just banned my Visa Debit Card.
Had an email from them just after logging in and trying to buy some BCs as I've been doing for the last 3 months.
They had me on wait for 20 mins they said. After 60 mins I tried to open a Bitpanda account but their verify process is failry pathetic as it will only work on recent smartphones (otherwise you get a picture too blurry error).
Moved onto bittylicious now which others have recommended here, am waiting on their verification process to succeed, from the questions they asked I suspect they run their customer applications through credit check agency like Experian...
Anyone else having a bit of a rough sailing right now with exchanges?

I transfer via bank to coinbase and have not had any issues in over 12 months. Using cards is great for protection against fraud but sometimes it’s gets in the way.

Yeah there are couple of banks mentioned on here. It is a pain and honestly I don’t see how they can get away with it as it’s not illegal to invest in crypto. I use coop bank and that is fine. Another option is to open another account with another bank as a savings account and transfer via that.

Revolut basically holds your money that you transfer into their account, from there it's down to revolut how you spend it so you shouldn't have any issues as crypto purchases are available within their app, just higher fees than coinbase to purchase bitcoin, I think I only needed to upload a selfie aswell I don't remember providing ID to them

So I tried that thinking I can send straight to my Coinbase wallet but the simplex partner site clearly stated that my bank provider rejected the purchase.
So now I'm 100% sure it's my UK Bank blocking crypto purchases with my card (except for etoro who obviously is FCA endorsed).

Literally have 2 Oz made up of a bit of each, I forgot which is which but the one that smells like kush and stardawg is Hella strong and pound for pound I don't think there's much that can compete in terms of amount of high for the money, and it's not all leaf like the majority of shake on here you can actually taste skunk if you're smoking it it's not like inhaling a bonfire 😂

J’ai utilisé récemment nero et il y’a quelques temps Hootan et mrs Suisse
Ils sont ok même si je ne retrouve pas forcément la qualité du Uk. Le niveau de stealth varie aussi.
Je vais tenter la promo de chez Green hornet bientôt; et ne connais pas dankofeirope.

Je vis au UK depuis 1995 donc j'ai la chance d'avoir acces a beaucoup de vendeurs sur LB.
Je n'ai commande qu'une seule fois en dehors du UK et c'etait uniquement pour acheter le hash legendaire de Hashishin (il est hors Europe).
Depuis le Brexit le passage en frontiere est TRES serre, je vous passe les histoires de taxes douanieres sur achats Ebay.fr et autres mais si vous regardez certains des posts il y a pas mal de biggas bases en Irlande qui ont eu des saisies.
Si je devais acheter depuis l'Union Europeene alors je m'en tiendrais a des vendeurs bases au EU big time.
Nero a une tres bonne reputation.
Greenhoney a l'air correct aussi.
J'ai compile une petite liste en debut d'annee a partir des posts LB:

Je confirme..en Irlande soit c'est saisi par la douane soit le fils de péripatéticienne de postier le vole. Un peu marre se gaspiller 100e tous les mois au final donc à part pour du bon hash je commande plus ici. Il y a 1 vendeur basé en Irlande mais les prix sont juste outrageusement élevés.

He left LB and messaged some of us to tell us that he was moving on a different platform but I forgot which one as I am partial to LB.

one of my favourite shows is 'Happy!', which has a grizzled substance-abusing retired nyc detective being found by the imaginary friend of the daughter he didn't know he had to rescue her from an fucked up guy dressed as santa. it's as weird as it sounds, and gets a whooooole lot weirder but it's an insanely fun watch. Falling Skies is a good sci Fi series, alien based but stretches across 5 or so seasons.
Alien: Earth isn't a bad shout if you are a fan of the movies.
For comedy, old school is the way. Nothing to lose is a great movie, Idle hands is also a random but funny 420 movie!

I liked Falling Skies too. And at least it told a complete story with a conclusive ending where there's no chance of a reboot. So I liked the completeness of it.

I don't watch much comedy but I do Scifi.
Foundation - based on Asimov book series and one of the best sci-fi series I've seen. It's pretty deep and cerebral looking at the fall of a future civilization. The series is vast in both size and time.
Silo - I've not caught up with series 3 yet. It looks at the small cluster of human life living underground in a post apocalyptic world.
Humans - UK series about robot evolution. It worked amazingly well as it looks at how we'd treat a race of robots if they achieved sentience. Probably one of the most thoughtful series I've seen on this subject.
The Expanse - This works with the likely harsh reality of humans living and moving through space - unlike most space series that invent useful tech to solve storytelling problems. IE beam me up Scotty.
Severance - a really engaging critique of the corporate world and the bullshit of work / life balance. It's deeply thoughtful as a series.
Person of Interest - This is an older series. It starts as a sort of crime solving duo show but it's a breakdown of how AI will be in the future. As we've now reached the future point they were talking about it's become interesting again. The series is great fun with sequential shorter stories throughout. Some of the AI stories they wrote about have actually happened.

TV show out at the moment called Widows Bay. Darky funny folk horror, Very funny, little creepy, great fun
bad news bears - classic 70's comedy movie about a kids' baseball team. starring walter matthau and tatum o'neal. back in the days when a kids movie could include swearing and general being mean to each other, in a very funny and sweet way. only watched it last week for the first time, and loved it :-)
