Hi, they are all pretty good on here, Dr extracts is quite reasonable. Have you considered trying RSO/FECO or a pre made coconut oil? The full spectrum works better for me, uk grower2 does a very reasonably priced one, made to order.

Why would you mix it with terps if you're eating it, never heard of doing that for edibles? Does it make it taste better or something?

Supposed to have a bit of a different effect from the terps influencing it, altho didn't experiment with it much in the end so can't be 100% sure :)

I'm seeing some tainted hash recently, that has mostly 10 star reviews. I have no faith in the hash on here, or the reviews anymore.Uk 420 has never let me down in over a year. Trying potentially tainted hash is something I'm not prepared to do.thanks for the input though.

I tried Pistach for the first time ever last week having been disappointed with Pleasure Garden. I had his Beldia which is amazing. I also tried one of his weed (Zushi) which was great but out of my normal price range. But will definitely keep getting my hash from Pistach!

yep, nice smell, sticky and overall quite strong. Puffs up easily when you crumble it in your fingers. I compacted it into a more solid bit so I give it a quick light but otherwise not needed when it's been kept in the pocket. I will definitely get my hash from Pistach from now. Espcially as he's one of the few who does NDD.

Have you had a look at Pistach? his weed is 🔥 and the hash looks it too.

Not related to your question but how do you prepare your hash for eating?

Heat a good joints worth in a mug with tight foil lid at 115 centigrade for I hr. Remove lid after 1hr and instantly stir a large knob of butter on end of a fork in the mug. Hash melts into butter. I then filter the butter through coffee paper to remove the inevitable particulates, (though this is optional). Then I mix yoghurt into melted butter.i usually eat the yoghurt in thirds or half at a time throughout day. Its an awesome way to take the medicine.

If you do this then wouldn’t it be better to do it with shatter or wax as they are essentially hash which was produced under cleaner conditions. You can decarb the same but you probably wouldn’t have to filter.

Good point, I never thought of trying those products. I like the fact hash is made from sungrown plants. I presume most wax and shatter are made from plants grown under lights ?. Thanks

I think a lot are outdoor grown considering the emerald triangles location, imo. I get that you want sun grown plants for your hash. I used to try and get that but there is so much stuff to try these days;)

I would think it may be easier to dose if you have scales because you know the thc is around 70 to 80%. The distillate is also a good I idea as the other poster said , it’s already decarbed. Only problem is that is not full spectrum and has no terpenes

I've been using spider farm sf4000 LED's. Great light output and colour range plus low heat and slim design. I've coupled them up on light rails which allows me to run the lights at full power (dimmer function on them) 5 inches +/- above the girls without light burn. The lights only move 1.5 feet from centre which is enough to allow the light to penetrate at different angles and encourage better lower bud imo. If nothing else they look great moving backwards and forwards. I also have two sf1000 static on ends.
Cost in region of £1500 happy researching

Just another idea to help the heat issue is keeping your water chilled if your running a dwc or rdwc system. I know I can't keep the tent a steady temp but water I can. certainly alot less ec and ph movement in hotter conditions with a constant cool water supply so one less stress the girls have to content with.

A good closed loop room with 4 lights will set you back about 6-8k all in bro and will be the best money you have ever spent. Gone are the HID days!

Get yourself a Co2 tank, air con, atmosphere reader/controller, seal the room and you will never ever look back my friend 🍻

I have a few grows using the Gavita 1700e LEDs and I can’t recommend them enough. Although there 1k a light but will do you 10 years.

Tents are a huge pain in the ass and it’s so difficult to maintain a balanced atmosphere as the air space is constantly being replaced.

4 x 600w HIDs in a tent produce some amount of heat so major intake and extraction values are needed.

I've got an unusual shaped grow space (basically a granny flat above a double garage with angled ceilings on each side) so can't see hermetically sealing it for CO2 being an option. Also cant hang lights from a 45 degree ceiling 4ft from the ground.

The tents aren't perfect but they just about fit so I think I'll have to keep going with them.

From what I've read the ppms need to be over 1500 for CO2 to even work properly, plus the expense of an Ecotecnics (or similar) monitor etc. I dunno....is it worth it for a small grower?

My yeild per crop is around 50oz, so nothing too special. Not sure I could spend 6-8k.

Bit out of my limits!

Ok so I hear you loud and clear, I know exactly the shape room you are working with.

I think you could easily hermetically seal the room with a little planning and wit bro. You can create a space between the door and the room that when you open the door you enter a small sealed off space. Once you are in that space and once the door is closed behind you, you can enter the main ( Closed ) grow room.

Take your time with research, if you have this space for years to come then I highly recommend spending the money now and reeking the benefits later.

The Gavitas are great units running 630w and I can confirm that I’ve been getting around 1.2g per watt ( 700-750g ) and because once fully established and flowering you can hang them right above the tops the canopy you can produce with a script technique is epic ❤️

You could get 40-45oz from only two of the Gravitas bro if you use dwc, co2 and dial everything in.

TBH 40oz is achievable with two Gravitas in a 2.4m x 1.2n tent using DWC hydro and dam good extraction!

So think about that bro, same yield half the lights currently used.

What extraction fan are you using for this space? Maybe your intake fan is to small.
I had temps problem last time and bigger extraction fan solve the issue.
For 3mx1.5m I would recommend you 2x 720w led. Lumii Black its good value for money, you can get them for around 400 each. They will perfectly cover your space.
For your budget you can buy 2 of them and new extraction fun. Im using AC Infinity cloudline with 67 controller and it works great for me

Thanks for responding, I have Amnesia Haze Shatter Wax. It has wax in the title so I’m guessing not, I didn’t realize that might be an issue. I’ve ordered some resin and later will order some live pressed to make sure it’s the cleanest, I will get some better equipment at some point. I recently got the little headbanger vape thing and used all the concentrates I could get here and loved it but broke the glass bubbler so went for the rig. All the sides of the nail are black after one use, not just the treacle one could ‘reclaim’ but a little ash type of thing, I feel I’ve overheated it so I’d best try again, maybe all day 🥴

I would ask the vendor:) is it clear? (Translucent)

It’s the darkest I’ve seen! Maybe that doesn’t help, anyway I’ve got some resin and live resin on the way 🤗

Shine a light through it. Should be clear even if dark in colour. Also the live resin is dewaxed due to the cold temps so it definitely won’t be wax in there that time if you get burnt bits

I tend to heat with a blow torch for 1 minute, let cool for 1 minute, then drop in a dab and hit it with a carb cap. If your taking a dab in a clean banger and it goes black it could be you’re hitting it too hot and it’s burning rather than vaporising. If it’s getting black stuff burnt on after a few dabs it’s because you need to wipe out the banger after each dab. I use cotton buds to do that. Some concentrates do leave more gunk than others though but you can still tell if it’s burning rather than vaporising. I’d recommend shatter from the great vape company as that’s some of the cleanest I’ve had on here.

Hi leanbean, thanks. Do you know anything about cold dabbing, I was just reading that you put the material in cold and then torch gently, when it starts to warm you inhale, it seems like a good idea, any thoughts on that?

Personally I prefer a hot start as you drop in your dab and it flash vaporises in one hit. With cold starts I tend to have to reheat to vaporise all the material which obviously risks burning it onto the glass. You will also need a carb cap to cold start otherwise your vapour will just float away as you heat. I may not have got the technique honed down quite yet though to be fair so give it a try and see what you think as some people swear by it.

I’ve had a few cold dabs now and like it. I was starting without the cap, no wonder I wasn’t getting much… now I’ve tried with the cap on, game changer! Yippee
