I had before Qnubu, that smaller one (2-5ton? something like that) and the difference in yield and precise after DP 10T purchase was quite shocking. I pressed flower a lot and bubble hash. If you have a chance to test before buy, do it please. You will see the difference on your own :)

Wow just checked amazon is now flooded with budget rosin press machines that sits well within your budget.
I'd recommend you to get a 7-8 ton hydraulic rosin press (£250-450 on amazon) plus some micron bags and you're good to go. Only press the best buds for the best results.

Amazon's the safest place to buy, they will refund you even for the smallest issues if there's any.
These hydraulic machines look well built with digital display/control. Strongly recommend you get one, at this price point I'd expect (without any research) most of these to be from china-alibaba. But that doesn't mean it won't last you. It's a simple machine that you can build yourself so not that much they can fck up.
A proper hydraulic rosin press like a nugsmasher etc would set you back a couple grand.
I'm actually tempted to get one for myself now lol

I had also been tempted to make my own as I have the required skillset and tools… but by the time I’ve sourced the heating plates, temperature control, thermometer etc it actually works out more expensive.

You can diy it cheap, I made one about 10 years ago. For the plates I bought 2x aluminium blocks for about 20-40 quid from ebay and 2x rex-c100 digital PID controllers with ssr under 20 quid find the right size cartridge mold heating element about 5 each. Plus harbrour press can go from 50 - 400.
You can put together a cheap diy press for around 150-500 easy
You'll need to drill the holes into the aluminium block, wire up everything.

All the mechanical stuff is easy for me, I could even make the arbour press itself if I wanted to… it’s the other electronic components that’ll require some learning. What you’ve written there has already helped me find what I need. Didn’t know what a PID controller was, I do now. Thanks man!

For me, though carts can hit hard they also generally fade fast and don’t have the depths experienced when using weed, they literally can feel a little hollow. That said there is simply nothing to beat the convenience and stealth of a good cart. The secret is to get the very best quality you can as there are simply too many nefarious ingredients finding their way into your sauce.

Recently, I’ve been enjoying the live resin from Kid Carti which are also incredible value.

I do think strain effects can vary enormously by individual. Many people don’t even have any faith in this sativa for energy and Indica for relaxing categories. I know I certainly get a buzz from some strains and I get to chill out on others.

You want to look for an indica bud with dark amber crystals, that means the thc is converting to cbn and cbd, cbn is what you want.
You could try aging it by leaving some bud in a jar for a few months burping the jar to refresh the oxygen every day or two.
Ideally if you could grow your own just let the crystals mature to deep amber and that will be really sleepy

Decarb is also a really good shout as you can consume it in so many ways and it always puts me to sleep.

I would try adding a g of hash to a teaspoon of cooking oil heat it on the stove untill it boils a bit and mix it all in, add to anything = sleep lots

I actually feel sorry for Carti and other vendors if they have to deal with people like this regularly.

The contents of vapes are like honey: when cold, it gets thick and doesn't flow.

So you need to warm it up before you can vape.

Some batteries/vapes have a pre-heat function: you press a button and it warms the coil.

If yours doesn't, you need to do it manually.

Leave it by a radiator/heater for 10 minutes or put it down your pants/under your armpit.

I do recommend you stay away from naked flames though.

I’d highly advise the gentleman dealers, stay clear of new sellers with less than <100 good reviews as they tend to treat this as their local street. (Was it sent? will you get a reply at all?) but they all write nice fancy posts tricking you.

I use a Mighty, packs a wallop.

The Mighty is epic imo but very big, bigger in person actually, the Crafty plus is where I’d be going if I were you.

I tried about 3 cheap ones. In the end I invested in a mighty. Worth every penny. Only downside is it's pretty big. I mean it just about fits in my pocket but it's kind of a home use only thing for me. For out and about I use my best cheap one which is a nectar v2. Cost about 60 quid and is small enough to just slip in your pocket next to your phone or wallet but still hits the spot.

You’ll be hard pushed to beat the Storz & Bickel Mighty, I tried not to pay that much but inevitably the road to getting the right thing lead me to it! Buy cheap twice (or three times for me!)

If I need portability the Mighty isn’t too bad but I prefer carts attached to a small 510 battery!

I attach glass to my Mighty with adapters and an Arizer whip which works great, but I have my eye on this beast now! (On the link)

I use a pax at the minute, before that I used the Flower Aura which was only about 50 quid and worth every penny!

Same in her PAX rules it will sort you out.

I use an arizer solo2 -expensive but amazing . My last one before was a flowermate V5 nano also really good to-great for outdoors as uses discrete pods

I'm using a Boundless CF, which was a lot cheaper than the Crafty, Mighty or Pax3. It works great, I really like how discreet vaping is compared to smoking, but I seem to need to consume double the herb to get the same effect. Is it the same with the Pax or S&B vaporizers?

I found with the MFLB that no matter how much i vaped and reshuffled my herb, I could still smoke it afterwards!

I have a Pax 3 and Arizer extreme Q with Ddave mods. Both are great. For Pax3 make sure you buy an original one, a lot of fakes out there. The arizer; get the Ddave mod. Vaping is great, but there is a learning curve. A bit like pulling a good espresso. Ones you get it down, it is great and I think a nicer high.

I use a Pax 3. Superb range of temperature controls via bluetooth to your phone. Nice size bowl with different portion size adapters if you prefer a half sized bowl of herb. Good battery life as well. It has a stealth mode which eliminates any vapor smell

I have a pax3 and note it doesn’t work with iPhones anymore as Apple took the app of Istore!!
Don’t even use the thing anymore don’t find it gives me the stoned I am looking for. Excellent for smoking on the go, always fun when someone in the next isle says they can smell weed!

Might I suggest the Arizer Solo 3? I think it's a touch expensive, but the build quality seems excellent. Out of my DHVs, this is more powerful. In fact, the clouds that you get from it have a similar throat feel to a joint IMHO. I've also an Xmax V3 and a Fog Pro, so I'm able to make a meaningful comparison, I reckon. The vapour path is all glass and it has two oven sizes. The larger of which seems to take around 0.3g, which may address the bowl size issue you were concerned with. The Solo 3 is easy to clean, too. It's a bit bulky, but then that's probably the tradeoff when making a powerful unit like this.

I've had a few higher end dhvs inc mighty plus and I think for cleaning and hit and taste and effects the arizer solo 3 is the best to tick all the boxes, the mighty is a shithouse to clean, arizer just one glass tube in some iso prop alcohol rinse and I'm good to go, I don't even use the gauze

If you're coming from smoke and trying to quit, electronic vapes wont touch it for you IMHO.

If you're not planning to ditch tobacco you'll struggle. If you are, get a Dynavap or more likely a StickyBrick. Same concept as MFLB but neater and easier (dyna) bigger hitter (stickybrick).

Once the tobacco is long gone, electronic vapes become more useful.

I mainly use my Arizer Solo 2, its an absolute workhorse. When with friends who vape, i use the Dynavaps. I still have the odd spliff but 90% of the time im vaping and its the Arizer. .great bit of kit and there might be a few deals soon due to Black Friday events.

I got a Pax 2 a couple of months ago. Pretty much all I use now. Was on pipes, bongs & the odd spliff mixed with mallow leaf or cbd flower before. Love the way you can treat it like a spliff & go back to it for puffs. Also my lungs don’t feel so fucked when I go for a run.

No reason for me to use anything else at the moment. Does the trick well. May have a bucket session just to plumb the depths again soon though ;-)

Have a look for a Flower Aura Vaporiser. They are class. It has a chamber for hash and one for wax too. I'm the same as you. I need a kick in my throat to make up for it not being joint. This definitely does the trick. I have a Pax 2 also. Equally as good but the Flower Aura is about 55 quid :)
