Im only using a cheap battery and had some issues at first but keeping my voltage at 3.8 max seems to be doing the trick until i can upgrade the battery.
Max 3.8 and Preheat.

definitely check out Yocan very good mods. Thats the issue with cheap ones mate yours says its 3.8v (too high imo) but what is likely really happening is when you push the button it fires at 3.8 but drops off to a more reasonable 3.3 etc. Better batteries with good circuits can fire at a constant voltage for longer.. so would recommend starting low and building up when you upgrade.

Thank you that makes sense, i had a feeling it wasnt accurate but ill stay lower to be safe, when i can upgrade i have 3 batteries ive narrowed it down to in a similar price range and the Yokan Pro was one, Nectar Honeybee another but im now sort of swaying more toward the Tombstone... ill probably change my mind again by the time i get it.

Review seems unfair.. clearly user error. I've had some carts from GVC (actually my first ever) and had no problem using them til they was completely empty. Just followed the voltages recommended battery used was a yocan uni twist...

I believe the people who have issues are using mods for sub ohm NIC vapes etc.. or really cheap nasty 510 pens like the 888 vape stuff you can pick up whist shopping on the high street. Battery designed for thick oils makes all the difference it seems.

A review is a review, it could be more helpful to potential buyers than a 10/10 with no words. A good opportunity to get a list of tips out there anyways.

Yocan are actually pretty decent, the build quality sometimes feels a bit cheap (definitely don't drop them) but they have some innovative ideas.

Price on that uni pro is cheap, i was gonna go with that one but all i could find where like 30 quid. I was told that the uni twist is the same just minus the screen and buttons so opted for that. Build quality does seems good too, basically just a solid block of zinc alloy with a twist dial on the bottom. no rattles etc cos there's only the one button.

Think the highest i took your carts too was about 3.1v but same as you was getting good hits at 2v. I was starting at 1.8v and stepped it up as it warmed up.

I really like the V9 liberty carts.

Liberty are generally well made, they are one of the more expensive carts as well.
