I was absolutely thrilled to see that I had won Dabman's recent 14g giveaway - $7 away from the correct BTC price for my first competition win on-site!
It's been about a year since I indulged in any extracts so I was excited to dust off the Pivot and give this a whirl. A lovely sunny Sunday morning spent in the park with the wife and some seriously fine Strawberry Dream was absolutely exquisite. The smell that hits you as soon as the lid comes off the jar is fantastic, some excellent fruity terps that are honestly just a delight and translate great to the taste - using the Pivot on a lower setting really lets the flavours come to life. Delicious.
The pebbles of concentrate are visually delightful and glistened dreamily in the sun - I've never had this much product on-hand at once, so opening a 14g jar with such bountiful rocks made me feel like I was Pablo Escobar.
A really nice head high really heightened our wander through the trees and added an extra appreciation for the warm summer breeze. Not overwhelming at all but still got us exactly where we wanted to be. Given our extended hiatus from concentrates, we didn't want to overdo it - one or two small dabs shared between the two of us over a couple hours was perfect - though I have to imagine a nice fat bead of this on a higher setting would absolutely send you to the moon - maybe next time...
Dabman himself is a proper gem - really sound guy, just a pleasure to deal with. Happy to send tracking info as he does with all regular orders which is always a big plus. Royal Mail decided to send it to an MC on the opposite end of the country for the day, but dispatch was exactly when he said it was per the tracking and I have to imagine 99% of all other orders are NDD.
He didn't ask for or hint at a review even slightly, very obviously happy to give back to the community just to do so, but it's the least I can do for such a generous prize. I don't think the flavour I received is in stock anymore, but if the rest of the stock is anything like this, I would happily make my way through the full menu (if funds allowed!). This is going to last me an age but if ever I need concentrates Dabman will be my go-to and you should also check out his wares at your soonest convenience.

Pretty new to extracts so dont have a dab rig or puffco so probably not the best person to review, they do however add a ton of strength and flavour to a joint though, both have gassy and sweet terps, the mango twizzler has fruity/hash-y notes and the cherry limeade does actually have hints of fruity cherry/lime peel, very good stuff

I've always found reviews are more genuine when the reviewer has paid for the bud 💪 I follow a fair few reviewers on insta and can tell who pays for the bud and who gets it free (the free ones always getting 11/10, when its certified mids 😅)

Cool, good luck with it. Also as Nickyblaze247 said it is more authentic when you actually pay for it. If you get them sent for free they don't carry the same weight as having paid for them. Many biggas does/did reviews here such as BigRoo and others and never asked for or expected freebies. They just reviewed what they bought and those topics usually very popular. Also most buds/extracts reviews I've seen on yt are always buyinng stuff from the shops.
I am willing to pay, I have asked for samples for cheaper as I want to review as many bits and help as many people out as possible and unfortunately I’m not in a financial situation to buy 15 different bud/extracts every so often so was looking for 1g samples just so people can see what they are buying, and tbh most reviews I see the reviewers get gifted it to do a review as it’s a win/win for both parties,although saying that I do not expect any freebies from anybody and have told multiple vendors if they are unable to do a sample for cheaper then not to worry as will buy and review some of their products anyway
I actually think yt is not a good platform to promote biggy affiliate links. They would most likely remove your channel. Just think about what kind of marketplace you're trying to promote.

Hey man I feel for you if you are buying bud to press, have you tried the 1 × 3 bags. They are handy to have for pressing a few grams when stocks get low.

i currently have 90 micron and 150 micron bags that are 1X3 and i can sometims get up to 26% yieldsafter letting the bud sit and rehumidify up to 62% SOMETIMES keyword though usually my return are shit because of my flower
Yeah it is really unpredictable when you are buying the bud, I am lucky as I grow, I just sit it in a jar for a couple of days once it's dry to confirm the humidity and then press it asap also the added perk of trim sift rosin, although I do prefer flower rosin over hash rosin

i usually buy things like vapes and more botique things life from SN2D from biggy as i have a good relationship with my plug so il try pressing maybe an oz or two a month as i find trying to get enough good quality bud at a good price to press it which could go wrong and ruin the batch isnt worth the risk

Moist sugar like consistency, glistening (pic probably doesn’t do justice) but being stored in fridge. Tasted great, hit few times on puffco. No dark charred gloop on the cleanup, relatively golden. I’m no dab expert, pure flower j is my go to but this is has been nicest I’ve tasted in the puffco. Bluenana, but is out now but comments or Dab can recommend 👍🫡

Is there a genuine security reason why some vendors don't give out tracking ID?
Last week I had an order that was supposedly sent out for delivery on Saturday the 9th along with another parcel. When the postman got to my door only 1 was delivered, I asked him, he said only 1 parcel was given to him for this address. I am close with my postman(make him a tea for his round) talk about life etc... so I trust him. On Sunday it supposedly went out for delivery again but then by mid-afternoon had changed to "unable to deliver, returning to sender" claiming the address was not valid.
Now my local sorting office is closed on Sundays to the public but first thing monday I drove down there, it was sitting in the back room with the address absolutely perfect. The guy was as confused as I was why it wasn't delivered.
My hunch is that some part time weekend worker stuck it to one side hoping it went uncollected and he could take it home the following weekend.
This now leaves me in a predicamant, I don't have another address that would use a different local office. So I can no longer order off any vendor that doesn't provide tracking information in case this happens again. It is the first piece of information they ask for when you go to the local depot.
So yeah, is there a genuine reason for vendors holding it? Or is it more down to larger vendors having too many sales to send out all ID's?

Tracking ID is on the tracked 24 label when delivered. So as soon as I have my parcel I can find out where it came from.

yeah that did cross my mind but you are talking 10000+ houses using a particular office, how does this information become useful? Police are collecting location evidence by ordering of LB? I think not.
no but a dodgy customer/competitive vendor could tip off authorities that someones sending contraband out of that office
its also left on the site for 60 days or whatever it is rather being deleted after 24 hours

Unable to deliver due to no access/ address not valid/ no answer is because there is no option for too many drops on this round today.
Disappearing parcels from the collection point before scanning is one thing, taking tracked parcels from a local delivery office that's already been scanned multiple times is asking for trouble. It's usually one person that looks after unclaimed mail - I think they're related to Doctors receptionists - 99% it isn't your postie.
Order as normal, if your tracked item can't be delivered you'll get a card with the tracking number on it - if you don't get a parcel or a card or a tracking number that leads you to your product - you dispute.

My order said "Out for delivery" on Saturday and again on Sunday until it updated to "unable to deliver" then on Monday it changed to "returning to sender" without any card being posted through my door and the postman visiting twice with other parcels. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, as a revolut customer myself, have you seen the email that went out at the end of last week?
In a nutshell, they have stated that they will no longer permit crypto transfers to any and all previously used addresses/wallets. So that's it as far as LB is concerned I fear.

Oh, I didn't see that email, thanks. My only thought is that LB generates a new address for every order so it won't be previously used. I've always just sent it direct to LB. Yeah its getting bad now- I seem to have a whole stack of crypto accounts. Will try Kraken next if Revolut is already bust or I can't transfer from there to Bitpanda. I'll share my experience!

All addresses that you send to on LB are brand new, never used before, and zero balance, so I have no idea how this is flagged to the exchange if sending directly. My Phantom wallet specifically warns me that this is a zero balance address with no previous transactions, and do I wish to proceed. Invariably I do.
Oh yeah good point, I don't get it either. But I've definitely heard of people sending direct from Coinbase and getting banned or shadowbanned (ie the transactions just never go through). Maybe they are going by something else, some algorithmic pattern. I've always used Exodus in between just in case (although one person on here claimed they got shadowbanned when always sending to a self-custody wallet first). But, in any case, it seems like any bank can just arbitrarily decide to block us from sending to a specific crypto exchange. Which is shit. Coinbase has some disclaimer where it says banks are increasingly doing this, under the guise of fraud prevention, to clamp down on crypto use. They recommend using Revolut or Monzo to fund the account (but seems like the former is turning the screws as well...ever since it became an official bank? I might open a Monzo account as well, just in case)

It was nuts. The transaction was blocked with a message to call the Fraud Department and I was transferred to Crypto Fraud. This has happened before and I have explained that I am building a small crypto portfolio with regular small transfers, no I am not being co-erced or blackmailed and there is nobody holding a gun to my head for my 65 quid.

Thanks for the info - jesus christ, so ridiculous! Treating us like children (it's our fuckin money to spend!) so they can tick their anti-fraud boxes (while allowing the fat cats to run amok). I once had a bank call me up suddenly to lecture me on my spending habits...and then try to sell me insurance on the same call. Have you tried Coinbase btw? I think with them it's better to send to an intermediary wallet first, before LB, cos they do their own blocks - but they generate you individual bank details with your own name to transfer to the exchange. Might help with your issue!

They could potentially look into the wallet if it's connected to them? Not really sure mate. You're providing KYC information to buy, therefore negating the non-KYC aspect of the wallet? But your first paragraph is completely correct. I'm currently favouring Phantom as a non-KYC wallet as the fees seem to be lower than with Exodus. I may be imagining it, but it certainly seems that way.

Yes. I use bittylicous. They're much more relaxed about KYC. It's a great service too. You can use your bank account and they'll never know (essential as I'm sure you know. Never let on to your bank that you're buying crypto). Anyway, It's a little bit clunky and takes a while to get used to, but works fine and you can send your coin wherever you want. No questions asked.

Yeah dude. I selected the crypto option on the transfer on my very first purchase! 🤦🏻♂️ Spent 30 minutes on the phone to the fraud department who grilled me when I was between night shifts. In the end he said he was 'mostly satisfied', removed the fraud flag and let the payment go through. Since then I've always clicked on 'Buying Physical Product', and haven't had an issue, even sending just under a grand at a time.

Yeah. They are now extremely picky where you send your property. No non-kyc wallets allowed.
They don't have to. Their attitude is now that if you must buy cryptocurrency, then it must be held in one of their all new wallets and cannot be transferred. All details will be compliant with HMRC.

I finally managed to get through two orders after much fucking about. Tried for a third now and back to square one. It all comes back to the whole bitcoin shit making it difficult. Surely there is a way around it. I don't think the law gives a fuck about us and what we're buying as long as it's not hardcore. I’ve had MJ’s Angel Delight a few times and it’s great. Infused with shatter and hits harder than any other 100mg edible I have had from LB.

Rocketdogronnie has some feco edibles (although I've not tried them.) I usually make my own chocolate or cookies from a mix of d9 and RSO. I definitely prefer the full spectrum high.
I’d vote for RocketDogRonnie’s feco edibles. They are an excellent way of getting very little done! I’m an edible lightweight so one glues me to the sofa. It’s a really nice high though like a warm hug.

I like mixing RSO and D9. The d9 from the wizards of oz has been consistently really strong. The RSO, for me, is a more balanced high although I know not everyone agrees. Gotta follow what works for you though man.

I don’t smoke the flower itself, I’ve been there done that for past 16 years. I like the incognito of the vape pens as I can do it wherever and at work too.

I run a puffco pivot dab pen. It’s mid range id say in cost and packs a punch! Can’t put plant matter in it though.
I don't smoke the plant itself so that will work for me, just currently looking at TVape for comparisons. How is cleaning these things with ISO? Is it easy enough? Just get ISO and some cotton bud sticks and give it a clean round and run it under water after? Could you just leave the cleaning bit to the end of the day?

Between dabs / out and about cleaning with a glob mop / decent cotton bud is fine. When I charge mine l leave the ceramic chamber in iso for half hr / hr and then clean it out. I bought 3 chambers, dab daily and go through 1g budder 4-7 days (still smoke the odd spliff) back in August. Used a fresh Chamber at Xmas because I thought why not freshen it up (probably didn’t need to it was still immaculate). Discreet in public (UK) and very portable.

Personal I using yocan orbit and yocan pillar, both banging vapes and cheep compare to another brands, will suggest watch some reviews on YouTube about this devices. If you decide for yocan brand be aware about dirty cheap, fakes devices, will suggest buy from proper vaping store or Amazon.

I’ve got lynch syndrome. Before I knew that, I was getting random stomach pains for years and when I went to the doctors about it all they would ever say is to go home and rest, they never looked further into it. After about a year of the stomach pains and the doctors doing nothing, I started taking RSO and found that I didn’t get the stomach pains anymore. About 3 years later, I went to the toilet one morning and passed a lot of blood. When I went to the doctors about this, they quickly booked me in for a colonoscopy. When I had the procedure they found multiple polyps and one was 7cm in diameter (really big). The medical staff were shocked that it was not cancerous and at that point they pretty much convinced me that taking RSO regularly was probably the reason it wasn’t so.
Like Rick Simpson says himself, you need a full spectrum oil to be effective against cancer and you also need to consume quite large volumes of it also - google ‘RSO dosage chart’ for more info.
Recently I’ve had instance of of some suppliers mixing the RSO with delta 9, so be careful if you do consider buying.

When I had the procedure they found multiple polyps and one was 7cm in diameter (really big). The medical staff were shocked that it was not cancerous and at that point they pretty much convinced me that taking RSO regularly was probably the reason it wasn’t so.
Like Rick Simpson says himself, you need a full spectrum oil to be effective against cancer and you also need to consume quite large volumes of it also - google ‘RSO dosage chart’ for more info.
Recently I’ve had instance of of some suppliers mixing the RSO with delta 9, so be careful if you do consider buying.

But it will make you stoned and high, not so much if you have it before bed. It would increase your appetite greatly.

A friend of mine recovering from chemo used them to help with appetite loss & sickness.
Also advisable to try a pure RSO (my drops are mixed with MCT oil).
From my research, CBD can also be of benefit when dealing with cancer, but please do your own research too - I'm not medically trained & would hate to give the wrong advice.

As mentioned RSO is the main form that is associated with pain relief and appetite for cancer but will give you the high.
Make sure to take zinc b complex vitamins and omega 3 they are suggested to increase appetite naturally ( I have chronic gastric issues and they seemed to have improved my appetite after time)

I have recently received yet another order from a UK vendor selling a product they claim to be Live Resin. Upon arrival it is the same lab whipped up D9 soaked in terps.
I’m starting to think that there aren’t actually any genuine extracts to be had in the UK. Everyone seems to have this sugar, crystalized junk soaked in terps.
I’ve had legit multiple times from the LB US link (sayno***). I’ve not had anything genuine from the UK for at least 6 months.
Off the top of my head I’ve tried myconauts, Dr D (used to be good), dopey & most recently Canadian imports. Generally, all the big-name suppliers on here & a few others.
Not tried the hash collective yet though.
Is it even worth buying extracts in the UK anymore.

I'm looking into getting back in the rosin game at some point in the near future... all home-pressed, no solvents and definitely no disty or added terps involved. The market for it wasn't too big when I dipped my toe but it seems like the niche is definitely there. Got another thing in mind for the moment but definitely keep your eyes peeled in Feb!

I think the confusion might be with the " live resin " tag being put on anything that started out as fresh frozen material, even if it is then distilled and processed the same way as a cured resin

Myconauts here are fine, but I much prefer Naturesfiyah. That's the Fruity Pebbles I had from them.
Myconauts live resin was fake. I've not tried any of their new offerings since they've got they're Thai connection.
Obviously I can't say anything for sure as I haven't seen up close or toked what you have pictured there but it kinda looks like the stuff I'm complaining about.

Is it though? I'm not trying to get in your face jcbus. I have no beef with you. Vendors are claiming their products come from here there & everywhere. The last one I got was from Canadian Imports, so supposedly from Canada.
Maybe some of this stuff is whipped up in labs abroad & shipped to the UK for sale.
What I can tell you is that none of the extracts from the legal markets look or hit like what we are getting over here from the UK based vendors.
