Yea slight error there, rookie mistake. Yanks for bringing it to my attention. Tbh iam still trying to figure this place out. I thought the 160 part was for a larger piece. P&P SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN £10 DEPENDING ON WEIGHT AND STUFF . 💯 GENUINE SUPPLY FROM THE UK please Bare with me while I sort out a fue shipping errors
Depends on bait tbh. I always thought a 2.2lb test curve takes the fun out of the fight tbh. I like to use a 1.75lb from my River rod unless using a huge method feeder or similar and punting out as far as you can accurately hit. So depends on venue tbh. Wouldn’t go for 9ft though, limits cast and applications. I tend to avoid commercial methods and feed regularly moderately to get confidence (Hemp-no pun intended) or micro pellets and vary hookbait depending on conditions and trial and error. IMO nothing can resist a hair rigged lump of fried spam including me snacking from the bait box 🤣. But 2.2lb ish is the standard yes, just a bit bullish(hit & hall) like sea fishing. Reel wise you can’t go wrong with a shimano baitrunner 5000. Can be used as an allrounder. Summer River, winter pike, even light enough for smaller venues. Tight lines bigga
I haven't fished for anything in years since I became too disabled, depends on what type of carp fishing you plan to do and the range at which you are going to be fishing at, a good all round set up I would say would be a 11-12 foot 2lb test curve through action rod and some large capacity reels, bait runners are nice, like I said I've been out of the game for a while, things might have changed.
go to dragon carp direct (i think) as its cheap as chips. watch one of the videos with the gaffer on, he's hilarious. Like that lion king bloke crossed with with a northern gipsy. Good tackle though, tbf
