Hi Biggas,

Long time no see, prices have gone mad on here and quality is worse than local going by what I've received from some vendors. Do you reckon the prices will drop a bit after the pandemic? Please don't think I'm complaining, it's the old if you don't like it go elsewhere which I have. I'd just like to start using this again as I like the community. Any new vendors over the last couple of months I should check out?

Anyway onto the main part, what do you guys do if anything with your AVB? I've got around 500 grams of the stuff minimum so would be a shame to waste it. I have done my research but most options are for edibles... well me and edibles are having a rough time at the minute after an experience like no other.

I use a plenty by Storz and Bickel, the one with the big metal cooling whip, hadn't cleaned in a year, had vaped probably close to a KG or just over in it. Obviously there was a lot of reclaim (about 4g) so I made a milkshake, holy shit never again (well with work the next day) I was stoned for 3-4 days but the last 3 weren't a nice stone. After consumption it felt more like an acid/mushrooms trip (I'd microdosed 20ug LSD that morning) I'd estimate something like 1500-2500mg THC consumed so my own fault, however yes, that's why edibles are out, my tolerance will be wild. I don't recommend this to anyone unless you have a week off and are extremely experienced.

So is there any way of removing the remaining cannabinoids that's not overly difficult? I have a reasonable knowledge of chemistry and access to some equipment but for the life of me cannot think of a way. Would pressing it work? Like a rosin press with a really shit yield? Alternatively any ideas a bigga can give?

If anyone has a stroke of genius and I end up with something decent from a method they suggest I will personally send half of the product to them or to someone as a gift if they wish.

My thinking is I vape pretty low temp sometimes, so according to my research my bud still contains 20-30% of it's active cannabinoids, if I could get even 15% out of the half kg, I'd end up with 75g of some sort of consumable product hopefully with a fairly high cannabinoid content.

My use is primarily for pain for me and my partner after kicking the opioid meds the doctor loves giving out (partner had a major trauma and broke back, hip, plus a few more and I have multiple disk issues) so any remaining active cannabinoids that can would be useful not just an only THC heavy product. However we do love to get blazed as well so a method with a lower yield but better quality end product would be best, if such a method exists.

It's not urgent, we can take days to do it, if patience yields good results I can wait months for it. Just looking for opinions from other capers. Feels like such a waste every time I see this huge ass bag of AVB and then go drop loads of cash on more weed. Need to start growing myself I think.

So a bit of an intro, bit of a life story and a question. Anyone any ideas? Id love to make rosin/oil like material that could be dabbed, vaped or even smoked (I know you can smoke the AVB as is, it tastes so bad and I cannot consume enough to physically get any decent effects).

I water cured my last lot of AVB in a cafetière, dried it ‘very gently‘ in the oven, chopped it into a finer consistency and added it to a Pre-done Brownie mix (not all of it) and it knocked my head off lol

Sieve your decarbed bud, then put it into capsules (00 size). I bash two of these every morning, noon and evening. Keeps things limber! Better effects after meals and the uptake seems better. Your poop will stink a bit, but no pain no gain!

As above. Capsules. I infuse mine in coconut oil first though. Seems to be a little less harsh. Don't get the weed smelling burps/farts as much either.

Actually, I've been significantly reducing my vaping of herb due to rising costs (and tolerance). I had a ton of AVB up until now, but have been bashing the capsules (and also sharing with my wife, as she has some shoulder pain that she doesn't want painkillers for). One thing I will say for sure is that it's a highly efficient way of medicating. It lacks the impact of a dab or bong hit, but can definitely get you through the day. Nowadays I tend to vape pure distillate and edibles. If you would like to shift some of that AVB though, I'd be happy to make a contribution to you of your choosing (within reason). It's always nice to have in an emergency (like a pandemic). To cut a long story short though, I think capsules are probably the most accurate way of dosing (with some trial and error, of course). Hi biggaz,

Not been ordering as heavily as around a month ago I had a pretty messed up experience on acid, this has left me with an impending sense of doom every time I smoke weed? I know crazy but I'm sure the psych vets on here may know what I mean. Now I feel ready to trip again as I need to get over this experience, it was difficult but not enough to put me off.

I've been told by some psychonaut friends to keep benzos like xanax on hand, quite frankly I know this would give me a sense of comfort but don't have access to them, I just don't know anyone that can get them. This leads me to the real questions, is it true that they would help? Also is there anything more readily available that would have a similar effect? Weed usually chills me, it sends me crazy on acid.

benzos suck, they suck life to reduce anxiety, therre are about 1 zillion ways to deal with anxiety without it, some actually are good for you like exhausting yourself physically and healthy foods that comfort, talking to friends even weed from what i understand from some of my colleagues here can also be helpful. Thanks for the reply man, I feel like the anxiety killer would be good. I feel I'm ready for the next one, just the idea of dropping back into the same loops is interesting but slightly terrifying. I feel I have got to the bottom of the cause of these loops hence the feeling I would like to go again.

The weed usually enhances my trip but last time it was pretty much the trigger for pulling me into the difficult experience. I feel this is why smoking causes this feeling now.

The likes of tramadol apparently can negate a lot of effects of a trip, but then of course serotonin syndrome or seizures is a severe risk. Kinda defeats the point, stop tripping, but die.

I think I'll probably just go for it. Might feel the need to find some benzos for the anxiety effect locally but that could take forever with the lockdown. I need to get onto the dark net, but that's too intense.

On this regard, the problem isn't so much that I cant smoke while tripping. Just that now I seem to always feel to be pulled down by vaping a bowl after the difficult experience during that trip. My relationship with weed seems to have been negatively affected.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head. We started smoking as my boyfriend had major trauma (several spinal breaks and more) and we both wouldn't be happy with opiates laying around all the time.

Now that you've said it that doomed panicky feeling is quite similar to what I imagine I felt when I got the phone call. Maybe nothing but maybe the weed has negative connotations in a way.

Yeah man, had the benzos waiting, didnt need. The weed had screwed me on my last trip. I'm more a walk around the farm and obsess over nature and my partner whilst tripping. The weed pulled me into the thought loops etc. So yeah, staying away from weed for a while.

In fact instead of smoking weed I've started microdosing acid and feel 1 million times better, the symptoms the weed helped mildly have damn near disappeared.

I'm doing 20ug per day on work days which is either 5 or 6 days per week. Honestly I have struggled with depression, anxiety and all sorts, several suicide attempts (bit dark I know). Everyone I have met seems to be so much more interactive and the people I harboured a hatred for now I just kind of feel sorry for them being miserable.

I've not done it the most scientific way, bought 100 crystal caretakers 220ug (as you can imagine I'm planning long term use) and made my solution, from one tab at a time, essentially 10 days from one tab. So far though I feel incredible and actually am in shock at how much more in tune with life I am. I've always been negative, so much so it's been a joke with friends. Now I actually see the beauty in life, the moon, sun, stars, trees etc.

Never know it may be temporary, I can't vouch for it long term as I've not been on long. If you struggle with the point of "everything" I can recommend though, as that was me.

Anything with high level vitamin c will you bring you down. I have it near me when I take shrooms or truffles as like you iv had bad experiences with it. Orange juice it the one for me. Also mars bar and coke as in cola as the height sugar intake also helps. They don’t get rid of it but it takes the intensity away. It certainly helps. And I find just knowing they are there if I need them really help me just relax and enjoy. Staying in one room is good for being on the impending doom. Go out in the sun and try them it’s a much better experience.

Thanks again all of you, the house has been tidied, locked all the gates to the farm so I cant get out (I can get a little wanderlust while tripping), got the fruit and veg ready for snacks and the playlist sorted. Going to drop 3/4 of a 220ug crystal caretaker and see how the day plays out.

I had read up on my friends prescription of mirtazapine because my friend wouldn’t be in the mind frame to care what he was given to take from the drug pushers ah hem i mean doctors!

So reading about this I noticed about it involving 5-HT serotonin receptor so i thought this shit must be active as psychedelics bind to the same receptors

Guess what i right, mirtazapine is trippy! On the psychedelic level with a twist...wouldn’t recommend it. Stay away, theres safer options to get off like mushrooms

So back on track...i dont know if this would add to or intensify the lsd or would it bind sooo much to the receptors blocking the lsd

but i thought once the lsd is bound to the 5-HT receptors that it was there until a certain time

So i look up mirtazapine and apparently its antagonist means blocking, but im thinking you would need to be on mirtazapine first to have negated effects from lsd

Maybe a pharmacist can chime in here, my best advice

Dont mix drugs, especially adding prescription drugs, in fact throw you illegal obtained prescription drugs in the been and smoke more cannabis and eat more shrooms!

I offered the information on what is a 'trip killer' as Benzos are not. after your first (less than cordial) response (the original escalation of language you complain so bitterly about) i referenced you to bluelight for the science but you seem to have ignored that. the link you referenced is about some freaks doing huge doses of that drug alone which is not relevant to was discussed. if you do most drugs in a high enough dose they'll likely do *something* to you. I'm on both sertraline and mirtazapine. They are inhibitors. It's almost impossible to trip on either/both.

Tried 300ug recently, most.i got was a buzz whilst my mate was tripping hard in just 100ug.

Again, not meaning to take sides. You're a good guy on here who makes many great posts but on this specific matter diceman is most definitely correct in his assertion that one counters, not compounds, the other.

Hi Biggaz,

I'm looking to start on concentrates as my tolerance is a bit high and I'm liking the idea of not having to sit on my vape for 20 minutes all the time. I am buying a rig from a local shop today.

I enjoy indica dominant strains mostly but do like to chuck in the occasional sativa. I'm pretty much here to ask for recommendations in terms of concentrates (shatter, crumble, wax etc). Who has the best ones on the site, any flavour recommendations etc? I'm looking to make an order of around £300 worth to stock up on concentrates for a few weeks. If you were to spend roughly that what would your concentrates shopping list be? I'm terrible at making my mind up.

I prefer to deal with UK sellers and obviously I'd be interested to hear what products you guys find best value for money.

I tried my first concentrates last week. Some of RB's monkey meds shatter. I went for the hybrid, but think they offer straight sativa/indica aswell...... sweeeet babba J it's good.
Blazed and then watched Sunshine - no idea what happened in the film but I sure enjoyed it. Then dozed off in a lovely bliss. Barely made a dent in my g either, and I went pretty hard. Deffinitely gets a recommendation from me anyway.

You can’t get shroom kits sent to uk at the moment as there has been a change in legislation only happed about 6 wks ago. It may change back as this happened a few years ago or it may not. In my humble opinion shrooms win hands down!! There natural! If you go for one of the stronger strains like the “McKenna’s” take a good 6-7gs dry on an empty stomach and you won’t be disappointed
