Yeh 100% I don't want to mention them by name but it was over some "jungle boys" Zak's pie which is one of my all time fave strains. When strong bud with glass-y trichomes is vac sealed or pressed up against plastic with a little pressure for a enough time the resin kind of forms a glassy looking sheen, I vac sealed like a half oz of really keif-y haze once and all the buds that were touching the plastic had that glassy layer, looked very cool, probably that, usually a good sign, doesnt happen with cloudy/amber trichomes

I know there's benefit to having a more personable / interpersonal feel, which I think I give off more in messages. I do think keeping a more professional body of text on product descriptions / topic posts gives off a vibe of punctuality / professionalism etc., but this headline immediately caught my attention, as I realise trying to overdo it may make me seem like a "robot" or kill that humanness that perhaps buyers seek more than I realised!

I think using AI for profile images, branding, and text effects are perfectly reasonable, and wouldn't put me off visiting a vendors page. However, as soon as I see product images that are blatantly AI adulterated, I assume the vendor is not being honest, and I immediately avoid.

I used to post reviews for my purchases, and I enjoyed adding amateur, but fairly decent macro images. I also used AI to create graphic text stickers to highlight the strain. I think this just speeds up creativity, and allowed me to create the image by editing the prompt multiple times to finally create the effect I wanted to achieve. It's easy to spot lazy prompt, AI image generation.

Side note.. As a result of my reviews, it seems the borgs have placed me in purgatory, and my comment will have taken this post off the wall. If you want this to remain a relevant topic, please respond, not necessarily to me, but it should bump the post back on the wall.

I'm not taking it as "hate" at all, it's actually really useful to hear people's perceptions and perspectives on this sort of stuff. If you're already wondering about if you should wait then you should, as you'll regret it otherwise. I have a Peak Pro and it's very easy to use, with firmware updates and an app. The Pivot has really piqued my interest, but that's seemingly more of a portable/pub/party thing. Bear in mind whether portability over power and ability to tweak is more important to you. Chambers, as mentioned, are not cheap. Look for offers.

Magic Vaporizers is a great and reliable UK site. If you buy a Puffco from them then you can get a great deal on a grinder too, including the super expensive ones. No use for dabbing, but a very handy offer.

Oh, and whatever you get make sure it's USB-C chargeable as it's a right ballache if it isn't, and it'll really piss you off eventually, even more than the cleaning.

I can recommend more Dr Dabber or Carta. Or e-nail to classic glass banger -> which is probably the best way to have "strongest" hit like if you torch the glass yourself.

I had Puffco Peak, i bought maybe 5-6 chambers in a year. Not worth it to be honest. Im detailist so im cleaning by isopropyl after every dab - recommend method for more durability and cleanest hits.

Dr Dabber is sitting inside my table for like 9 years now, still everything original except glass piece as i brake it before. Using it now only for hash - so always a little chazzed chamber and still rockin like new)

Carta i only heard positives - i do not have any experience by myself

Puffco Pivot - myself not experience, but on official Rddt group of Puffco there are issues, so i will say 50/50.

If you are on a budget, look on Yocan. I have their torch and a few things and i can tell you the quality isnt bad at all.

I hope Storz & Bickel will do some new things for concentrates. Their durability and quality is something where Puffco can only dreaming about it :)

I did myself with their 510 vape (for classic cartridges). It was 1 month after warranty and they let me pay shipping and sent me free device. Like maybe 25$ at all. They are pro customer.

I dont want to discredit Puffco of course, but its 2026 and they still have chambers (atomizers) problem from first generation of Peak. Same problems with their hot knifes etc. There are better options these days for half the price.

Would u say u save concentrates with the puffco compared to the yocan orbit ?

Yocan orbit is cool but only heats from the bottom and chars easily. Puffco has ceramic 3d heated chambers for even distribution

There's many items you'd probs need to avoid in a yocan that you'd be able to sample in a puffco, ie. WPFF from thc23 is the best thing since sliced bread. However, it isn't full melt so requires more cleanup. A puffco would be totally fine but my yocan burnt my nice hashes

You get what you pay for alot of the resin is whipped up bleached crap which is mass produced. Like someone below said stick to rosin, wpff, piatella thc23 are the best for these.

Good choice. Have one myself and I find it excellent. Not tried any other brands but it provides flavour and gets me high.

First two settings (purple, yellow) are weak but give great flavour. Good for testing your brand new extract. 3rd (blue) is my go to and sometimes 4th (green). I don’t tend to use the highest two settings but you do you. 2 back to back sessions and usually finished. Long inhales. Don’t be afraid to cancel session rather than leave it while you pause for breath/wipe your brow!

I scorched my cup on my first go a few black marks but still works perfectly don’t sweat it. You can heat clean the cup in a separate mod set up but not available to me, but don’t care!

Brown residue in the cup and/or less clouds, more heat on the inhale are signs your extract is finished. Wipe with dry cotton bud, iso only required every now and again. Give the air path an iso wipe every few dozen sessions. Easy. Enjoy.

Can recommend shatter from MKK2020, which doesn’t break the bank.

Pro trick - if you happen to have a ceramic hot knife, heat it up and gently scrape off the charred bits after washing in ISO. Worked wonders for me

What temp/time did you press for mate? Was this from fresh flower? It not being jet black is a win in my experience lol. I'm sure it will whip up fine. The colour not being black tells me you probably haven't over heated or overpressed but it is more likely a slight bit of oxidisation in the starting material you used?

Yea starting material was basically black

1 minute warm up to get the hash heated and soft

Then 3 minutes of slow pressing temp was 168 all through pressing

I had a smoke and it was alright definitely something spicy from the mountains somewhere very earthy

was this pressed from cured brown/dark hash? Never had good results with it, but your's looks nice.

Fresh frozen is the way to go for good hash rosin.

Yeah makes sense mate the only way you seem to be able to get that much lighter colour is with fresh frozen material - but I'd say quite impressive to get such a light colour from something already starting to degrade.

If you used a bag it looks like a blow out. Too much pressure too fast. With hash need to go slow and it won't take as much pressure as flowers do

I think it's just really fine plant matter there was still a puck left over afterwards

There was a lot of thca to collect that's most of the texture with all lot of very dark terpenes

I only used 37 micron so I wouldn't be surprised if some very fine plant matter went through

I tested some Moroccan wich was softer and contained more hairs and less small matter and it came out a lot cleaner

So I think some of the very fine plant matter did bleed through

Good hash has very little to no plant material in it.
When you press hash don't go all the way with the pressure, only enough to "sweat" the puck. Increase the pressure very slow. If you see thick dark stuff like that coming out means you over pressed it. You only want the clear yellow or white oils if fresh or darker but still clear if older.
To batter up you need to play around with the tempreture and wisk it up it's very easy.
If you want thca you can just by re press the clean rosin in 20micron bags leaving the white thca powder behind. Better watch some videos to get the idea.

BTW! I got very fresh weed available if you wanna see how clean rosin looks like when it's fresh. I can guarantee the sour diesel and afghan kush will give you bright yellow white ish rosin on low temps. The most beautiful thing I ever seen :)

None of the things you mentioned are extracts they are premium hashes but can confirm, no one else on this site has a patch on THC23. From coms to quality of product they tick all the boxes

Its just miss leading, THC literally has a Extracts category. they are premium hashes WPFF is not an "extract" in the way rosin, BHO, distillate, etc. are extracts.
It’s more accurate to call it premium fresh-frozen hash

Wrong hash is an extract of the flower theyve extracted the crystals and terpenes

Hash (including WPFF bubble hash) is not an extract it’s mechanically separated trichome heads using only ice, water, and agitation, zero solvents, zero chemicals. An extract requires a solvent butane, BHO, CO2, ethanol, propane, etc. to dissolve the goods out of the plant. Live rosin is made by taking that same solventless WPFF hash and squishing it with heat + pressure, so it’s still 100% solventless, just a pressed form of hash. That’s exactly why every major competition (Ego Clash, Secret Cup, Rosin Dogs, Alchimia Cup, Hash Writer Cup, etc.) has three completely separate categories: Solventless hash, rosin, extracts.

Bubble hash doesnt have to be wpff thats just to preserve the terpenes, an extract is where you extracting from the plant which doesnt always require solvents, rosin , hash rosin or hash are still extracted from the plant which ever way you look at it.

Look mate if you told me you were coming over with extracts and came with hash id be disappointed. there's a reason you’ll never see hash or rosin entered in the extract category at any serious competition
