I was wondering when you'd enter this one, I bet you'll be in the winner list next time ;-)

Ha! My luck can't keep up dude, it's like in those old Fighting Fantasy books where you lose a lucky point each time you check your luck...surely?
You kept your finger in the page just in case it was the wrong decision, right? There's an app now! It actually gives you the option of an easy mode where you digitally put your finger in the page, but you can also roll digital dice and stuff (as I don't think many people actually used it like that, back in the day).
Thanks TSM for another great comp il guess…

Sativa AM, Indica pm
for me this means a high energy day for brain and body and a smooth night where I can work a bit, rest or play at my own option.
Forget the Sativa vs. Indica myth - it's based on botanical plant structure, not pharmacology.
A better analogy is that major cannabinoids (like THC and CBD) are the engine, setting the baseline strength and intensity, while terpenes (Myrcene, Limonene, Linalool, Pinene etc) and minor cannabinoids (like CBN or THCV) act as the steering wheel, dictating the direction of the high.
Strains with high concentrations of Myrcene (especially when combined with Linalool) yield relaxing, sedative effects regardless of leaf shape.
Strains rich in Limonene (mood elevation via serotonin pathways) and Alpha-Pinene (promotes alertness and counters memory fog) generate stimulating, daytime effects -even in indica plants.
This is the main reason my drops are crafted based on the terpene content of the strain & why they work so well for their specific purpose.

I don't believe the terpenes have much effect . And Sativa is just the botanical name for any cultivated plant . However , I have noticed that Thai and Haze are more likely to induce a psychedelic effect . I recon It has more to do with cannabinoid ratios than terpenes .
Everything you've written is simply untrue -
"I don't believe the terpenes have much effect" - science would disagree.
"Sativa is just the botanical name for any cultivated plant" - not true
"Thai and Haze are more likely to induce a psychedelic effect" - cannabis is not a psychedelic
"I recon It has more to do with cannabinoid ratios than terpenes" - again, not true.
Plenty of information online, I suggest maybe reading up.

Sativa is Latin for “cultivated” and appears in scientific plant names. You can easily verify this fact for yourself .
As for cannabis botany , I read Earnest Small's book which is the definitive book on cannabis botany . A very interesting read .
There is weak evidence that specific terpenes reliably change the human cannabis high—the proposed “entourage effect.” Human clinical trials are limited, often small, and don’t consistently show that common terpene concentrations substantially alter THC effects.
More established predictors: THC dose, CBD/THC ratio, route of use, tolerance, expectations, and individual biology. Marketing claims such as “limonene is energizing” or “myrcene causes couch-lock” are not well established and shouldn’t be treated as dependable rules.
I've done plenty of reading into this subject which is why I'm not convinced by terpenes .
Cannabis may not be classified as a pharmacological psychedelic , but it can certainly produce a psychedelic effect equal to if not greater than the serotonin receptor agonists . It's a shame you've never had the experience .
You're one of those people who just blurt out anything you've heard as fact and gets angry if your preconceptions are challenged . It must be hard for you . No hard feelings .

Fair point on the Latin origin of sativa (cultivated), I just learned something new.
That said, while I agree the commercial hype around terpenes (like 'myrcene = couch lock') is heavily exaggerated and human trials are limited, calling entourage effects 'weak' ignores a lot of preliminary pharmacological data.
Cannabinoids drive the core engine, but terpenes clearly shape the ride.
I haven't read Earnest Small, so thanks for the tip, I'll take look 👍

They both make me low energy but I prefer sativa landraces - too many hybrids nowadays
Sativa and indica indicate growing traits more so than feelings you get from inhaling them. All of this "energetic sativa" is just a myth and marketing strategy
All the modern cultivars are hybrids . There used to be some truth to it , but there was never a variant called ' Sativa ' . Botanically Sativa just means cultivated
Not a fan of couch lock, sleepy stuff. Though I did twice have a ‘nope, can’t move’ experience without any soporific effects. No idea what / why 🤷

why are there 3 or 4 guys with the same profile picture of this Russian scene trying to win this competition?
Seems like a niche picture to be used by many different accounts.
The profiles seem to enter a lot of competitions also.

Just checked then mate think that’s the picture that LB give you if you dont Have your own profile picture mate
Thank you mate for pointing this out to us , will have a little look at that mate
You’ve got me… first Russian interference in US elections, now Russian interference in LittleBiggy competitions.
Alternate explanation: if you don’t have a profile picture, LittleBiggy displays a random one from their collection. This alternates, and the photo you are referencing is one of them.

The Difference Between Sativa & Indica
Do not pass GO until you know this, it's so fundamental that you wont believe you didn't know this before.
Sativa is exhilarating, it charges your mind and body with revelatory energy. Great for work and sport it's an uplifting daytime high. The downsides can be paranoia and a quicker road to dependence.
Indica is satisfying, it relaxes you in every way. Great for sleep. laughter and appetite it always relieves stress but is very likely to make you lazy in mind and body.
Using cannabis without knowing this basic difference is a lot more consequential than confusing red wine with white. Though the plants look the same they are basically opposites, evolving separately for millions of years.

Completely untrue. Genetically there is only the cannabis sativa L and at a molecular level they are all the same. The terpenes dictate the physical differences, smell, taste etc. and differing effects are due to the huge variety of growing conditions, climate, soil etc. The indica/sativa classifications have been around so long we have all bought into them, which is fine ‘cos they work for us in their simplicity, but the science disagrees. It’s only relatively recently that this has been fully examined but there are now a tonne of fully peer reviewed science papers on the subject. Whether any of those scientists are also biggaz would be useful to know! ;)
^this
have been aware of this for years and out of the hundreds of heavy smokers i've met / smoked with, spent thousands of hours talking about cannabis but the placebo sativa / indica nonsense never comes up, i've met a couple novice smokers who got wrapped up in that pseudo science but quickly found they don't have a preference for either 'sativa' or 'indica'
not only do the terps play a large part in weeds overall effects but the way it's grown, what it's grown in, and specifically most important is how far into flower it was harvested and what stage the trichomes are at! this is where a plants effects will come from.
for the sake of this example lets say you have a pure 100% sativa, and you are growing 2 identical plants, same strain + genetics from the same breeder, in one tent under the same lights with the same soil and nutes, if you harvest them a few days apart from eachother you will have two completely different smokes in terms of their effects, nothing to do with them being a sativa.

wow my decades long experience is 100% validation of the sativa/indica difference. huge basic difference with energy i derive from them.
in my pursuits of staying high all the time my formula is basically sativa to get it going and indica to insure sleep to make it to another high day. but thats another story ;)

i suppose there's no harm in you enjoying a placebo effect mate if it makes you happy :)
unfortunately the science can't really be ignored on this one, there's more than enough papers published now for you to read, here's an example of many > https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5576603/
"I would strongly encourage the scientific community, the press, and the public to abandon the sativa/indica nomenclature and rather insist that accurate biochemical assays on cannabinoid and terpenoid profiles be available for Cannabis in both the medical and recreational markets. Scientific accuracy and the public health demand no less than this"
i hope eventually, even on a market like this, we can abandon the copy and paste strain information from google since it's so far removed from being relevant to the product we are buying it's actually laughable, what we need is more detailed information on the terpenes and what stage the plant was harvested, these are the key things that actually give the plant it's effects!

If you are growing correctly and checking with a microscope, you should be getting the perfect mix of what the strain has to offer.
You will find most buds are not grown to perfection and chopped at week 8 not week 9.5 or 10.

this is exactly what it's all about, and this is what the science on this subject confirms too! it has absolutely nothing to do with this outdated hipster language of 'indica & sativa'!
it's all down to the genetics, terps, growing conditions and particularly important is what stage the trichomes were at during harvest!
the science is out there for anyone to read and it's far more difinitive than anecdotal comments on here from ignorant stoners who 'derive energy from plants' lol

I'm not convinced the science is conclusive . Especially on terpenes . I have noticed that some weed is more likely to produce a psychedelic effect and some more likely to produce a narcotic effect . The most likely explanation in my mind is that different ratios of cannabinoids produce different effects .
Seems this guy's point is that the terms are not scientifically accurate given the interbreeding. He also thinks people are basing this on leaf shape - what's this about?
it's one example of many articles and papers on this topic!
and it is true that a vast amount of people determine a 'sativa' and 'indica' by it's plant strucutre and the leaf shape falls into that, which is of course nonsense but there's a huge amount of people using this criteria unfortunately!

These classifications are stoner errors anyway . Earnest Small classifies them as Indica , which we call Sativa . Afghanica which we call Indica , and Himalayensis which we never talk about . All modern cultivars are a mix , so it's impossible to tell how much of each variant they contain .
Well science isn't based on talking to stoners... if it was you'd be Albert Einstein... do you have any scientific qualifications? "Placebo" "pseudo science"... you can categorise by terps, but then terps are linked to the effects, and the effects are often linked to where the plant originally thrived for thousands (millions?) Of years... it's potato potat0
There is also ruderalis genetics which is the mother of all autoflowering cannabis.
lol it just sums it up really how outdated the language on this topic is, also dipensaries are starting to move away from the terms 'indica & sativa' since they have been shown to be nothing more than marketing language!
eventually the industry will move away from those terms entirely as the science progresses and it will become far easier to find strains that suit your needs!
also i noticed you've never mentioned once on any of the items on your menu if they are sativa or indica or hybrid, assuming it's because you know it's nonsense :)

All modern varieties are a mix , but there does exist a diverse range of traditional cultivars out there which we should do our best to preserve . The Real Seed company collect and sell seeds from all over the world . They have a great website to check out . I've tried a few of the cultivars . The Afghan 90 was one of the best . It came from seeds that had been stored since 1990 in Holland . You can really see and smell the difference between modern and 90s weed . Most of the other landraces I tried came out bad . They haven't been selected for indoor growing I guess .
i don’t know about you but from the 1st time i ever smoked (thanks uncle gary) to a couple of years ago i didn’t even know the difference between indica and sativa.
hungry one time paranoid the next i just thought the beloved plant had range.
hungry one time paranoid the next i just thought the beloved plant had range.
The proof is in the pudding, there are so many overbred hybrid strains around now it is hard to tell. Only a true indica or sativa you can notice the difference
Most modern strain on the market today, have been breed to be hybrids, hence the ratio indicators giving you a desired mix, and in turn desired effects. That is the beauty, of mixing strains, to create new and exciting, rolls of the dice.
Quite far from some strain's landrace origins, but certains strains can still be pure , for example:
100% Indica Northern Light.
100% Sativa Durban Poison.
Mixing the two would have a similar effect, to smoking a 50/50 hybrid, in theory. I better grow them both this Year, to find out.

According to botanist Ernest Small, the scientific classifications of Cannabis differ from the way we usually talk about it. In his classification, there are three main varieties:
Var. indica — which Small identifies as the narrow-leafed, cultivated variety from South Asia, often what people call Sativa.
Var. afghanica — the broad-leafed, shorter variety from Afghanistan, commonly called Indica.
Var. himalayensis — native to the Himalayan region, less often mentioned in casual talk.
So, the terms Sativa and Indica we hear commonly aren’t always botanically accurate—they're often used loosely or incorrectly. True botanical classification is more precise and recognizes these distinct varieties.
While traditionally Sativa strains are thought to produce more psychedelic or uplifting effects, in modern cultivation, most strains are hybrids with mixed genetics. Due to extensive cross-breeding, it's often impossible to tell how much Sativa or Indica is in a cultivar, so effects can vary widely regardless of the label.

I thought an indica is classed as such when it contains 5% or more of the terpene myrcene which has sedative effects due to the entourage effect with THC. It’s also why people say eating mangos whilst consuming cannabis makes you higher as myrcene is present in them.
Thanks for the mango advice! 🥭 aren't there quite distinguishable plant structures for sativa and indica landrace ? Ofc the terps and grow conditions are irrelevant, and every person's biology is different... but to say that a pure indica isn't going give more sedative effects and pure sativa isn't towards the energising side seems a bit disingenuous... in medical cannabis the terps are stated on the packs... indica/sativa/hybrid categories aren't absolute, but the simplest way to classify... to poo poo this as hippy dippy nonsense seems a lil pretentious...
That was my understanding indica was from India hence the name and sativa from Asia as for the high I always put the effects downt to the strain rather than the indica sativa and don’t think there’s any true sativa or indica on the commercial market there all hybrids nowadays even ones that claim to be 100%one or the other u just wouldn’t get the thc content from it that people are now accustomed too
Evolutionary age: Botanical evidence and genetic testing suggest the genus Cannabis originated 20 to 28 million years ago in Central or East Asia. The specific Cannabis sativa species diverged from Cannabis indica roughly 1 million years ago (according to google) interesting...
True, most stuff is hybrid these, but the og landrace strains are 'pure' sativa or indica... you can Try them out here... most cali strains are a mix of African sativa (cookies, durban, power plant, and the chill and sedative effects from indica hindu kush... of course pure indica still gets you 'high' and a sativa can still knock you out eventually

Dopey has made some of, if not the best, dry sift available on this site . The Fullgas / Widow is superb. I buy a lot of hash on this site and what he has made here is of excellent quality . Strong and smelly . A real treat .
I see the Fullgas is back in stock and now I'm just trying to decide if I buy the flower or the hash . I recon the hash is better value , but the Fullgas is such a nice smoke . Since it's Sunday , I reckon I'll sleep on it .

Yep those trans people are going mental from those hormones . Per capita they're probably responsible for more political violence than any other group . And what hateful bigots they are too .
…
Trump won because he was the best option . We are absolutely sick of woke hysteria . Nothing to do with testosterone . Just common sense and decency .
…
Unlike your lot , he was cleared of that . Your banner says it all . Your lot want to teach children about anal sex yet you don't even have kids . Fucking disgusting . You certainly don't have anything to be proud of . Keep your degeneracy to yourself . No one cares where you stick it .
He literally got convicted of sexual assault in 2023 and he is all over the Epstein files… are you that retarded🤣? I’m asexual, and will adopt in the future. Where’s the evidence the LGBT+ community wants to teach children about anal sex? I was taught sexual education at 10 years old…. At a Christian school nonetheless, you smelly troglodyte.
He didnt get convicted. It was a civil court not a criminal court so it was on the probabilities it could of happened not if it did.
Honestly the left are getting more and more unhinged daily. If you cant understand the difference you should go back to school. Oh wait won't be safe for the kids as most of the trans lot are kiddy fiddlers.

I'm not taking sides but some LGBT parrades do allow men to have there weener out in public
Even with kids around
I saw some guy ask the police if there going to do something and I think the were just told not to intervene
Again I take no side in this as both sides have there idiots

You called him a kiddy diddling rapist which is not true . Many people are in the Epstein files and yet all you care about is Trump . Every name in there must be investigated including Trump.
I never said Trump was a good person . I said he was the common sense option . I base that on his common sense policies which he is actually delivering on .
So you are completely off topic . Your mind goes straight to kiddy fiddling for some reason . Not suspect at all .
Why are Leftoids like yourself always so retarded ? Is it the anti depressants that have been proven not to work ? You're all on them .
I still don't care what degenerate sexuality you identify as , but A sexual is a fucking joke . How desperate you are for a protective characteristic . Pathetic victim mentality .
You clearly have zero idea what your LGBT cunt friends are pushing in schools . Ignorance is the hallmark of the Left .
I just noticed that 'demon' is highlighted in your banner . Checks out . Leftoids are so ignorant that they're actually evil . You try to invert truth anywhere you can . Your entire ideology is a psy op from your satanic pals on Epstein Island.

Ah you’re funny and my pfp was taken from a far right account, I just thought it went hard so I stole it
…
Cool comeback .
It would be more productive to shout at a brick wall than to attempt a political argument with a Leftoid . You know absolutely nothing of value and what you do know , you got from legacy media . There is no one on the planet more misinformed than the Western Leftoid . So full of hate too .

Apologies not needed mate sent weekend Monday delivery works for me. Really is a gorgeous bit of bud the UK you’ve got in atm really is top stuff
It's really good Mighty and feedback is coming in there was a bit of a blip with the RM last Friday but things are all moving again thank goodness.
It made me change my posting routine which I started yesterday for the xmas period where everything is scanned over from first point of sending as that way the RM are more accountable and need to prioritise scanned mail in busy periods ie xmas post.
Preventing the problem before it occurs hopefully so to speak 🙏

I think it's lefties . They do love a bit of censorship . I lost my first account after arguing politics
Yes they can give it but they cry like babies when the tables are turned.
I don't think there are lefties and righties anymore I see that there are some people who have been indoctrinated with an ideology and like to say they care about everyone but what it means is they can have there own little social bubbles and not engage outside of that as long as they don't really have to be kind like they make out they are when in actual fact they show no real kindness just to say is not the same as to do.

Anyone searching for that old school, original gassy, cheesy flavour this is the one!
Managed to get a lump off Dopey and im glad I did. The variety of cheeses or cheese x strains on here have never lived up to what I remember from the early 2000's to 2010's and I was beginning to think it was a lost cause, but not anymore.
The buds are perfect structure, sticky on the inside, dry in the outside, not super dense like 'cali' bud and absolutely stinks!
Upon exhale you get a faint cheese taste that transitions into complete gas and funk when exhaling that really took me back. Had that iconic funky blue taste with smoke so thick I could've chewed on it.
The high was strong and lasted, at first I was getting creative with a little energetic buzz then 10 minutes later I was hugging m sofa like it was the last time we'd see each other. Then I opened my eyes and it was morning.
Absolutely treasure of a find and I hope it stays on the menu a while because this is a raunchy smoke.
Stay blessed Dopey

It's really good bud , but nothing like the cheese I remember . Don't hype it too much . I wanna get some more before it runs out .
I am only in my early 30s so for me it was pure nostalgia. Only slight is the trim could have been better but other than that best cheese I've had off LB
I was lucky enough to get a cut of the Cheese for my first indoor grow 20 years ago . Did a sea of green in my bedroom cupboard . People said it was the best they'd ever tried . I was very popular for a few weeks . The way I remember it was like a Skunk that had gone wrong and smelled cheesy . Which I believe is what it was .
