You kept your finger in the page just in case it was the wrong decision, right? There's an app now! It actually gives you the option of an easy mode where you digitally put your finger in the page, but you can also roll digital dice and stuff (as I don't think many people actually used it like that, back in the day).

1 - You have a single product that’s poorly advertised
You for some reason have a picture of a product you then immediately claim not to sell but you managed to acquire the packaging for that product?
It’s confusing and I would remove any reference to that brand if you’re not actually selling it, if this is home made stuff then proudly state that, don’t put it on some packaging “you acquired” so it looks cooler, people won’t want to buy from you if your own marketing is ambiguous about what it is you’re actually selling
You’re going to have someone see that branding, not read your text and then order thinking they’re getting the brand name and then they’ll claim you scammed them if they don’t get that branded product
So just remove it and let your product speak for itself
Why are you putting homemade chocolate into a Kit Kat wrapper and then trying to sell it as “this isn’t a Kit Kat I just got a wrapper somewhere”
2 - From some very limited research, your products are on the upper end of the price range for this type of product
The top sellers have much more variety and are typically cheaper
So why would a buyer come to you instead of going to an established seller?
They have more to choose from, it’s cheaper and it’s been reviewed by 100s of people already
Either promote a unique selling point or drop your prices to lure people in, then once you become more established and have a greater range of products and some reviews under your belt you can start to slowly increase prices

Intro offers to entice people in and to build up your reviews and reputation. Otherwise there is no incentive for people to buy from a new vendor vs an established one.

agreed, especially about the images. just because you can generate AI slop images for your profile image, doesn't mean you should. they're intrinsically soulless. humans respond positively to other humans.

People seem to intrinsically dislike AI, the time of the terminators will come.
I don't have anything against the usage of AI as long as it's not a replacement for the actual product
Ie. Adding formatting, improving colours/lighting or just general improvements make sense. Replacing the actual product and description for AI slop is not fine.

I think using AI for profile images, branding, and text effects are perfectly reasonable, and wouldn't put me off visiting a vendors page. However, as soon as I see product images that are blatantly AI adulterated, I assume the vendor is not being honest, and I immediately avoid.
I used to post reviews for my purchases, and I enjoyed adding amateur, but fairly decent macro images. I also used AI to create graphic text stickers to highlight the strain. I think this just speeds up creativity, and allowed me to create the image by editing the prompt multiple times to finally create the effect I wanted to achieve. It's easy to spot lazy prompt, AI image generation.
Side note.. As a result of my reviews, it seems the borgs have placed me in purgatory, and my comment will have taken this post off the wall. If you want this to remain a relevant topic, please respond, not necessarily to me, but it should bump the post back on the wall.

I'm not taking it as "hate" at all, it's actually really useful to hear people's perceptions and perspectives on this sort of stuff. It will definitely make me reconsider what I'm using it for and whether I'm wanting to give a playful / gimmicky graphic of a product or accurately portrayer what a buyer would receive.

in my experience, what sort of an experience you have depends greatly on how much of the ibotenic acid you manage to convert into muscimol before ingesting. it is the ibotenic acid which is toxic, and if you ingest much of it you will have a very bad experience. muscimol degrades at a slightly higher temperature than ibotenic acid, so it is down to keeping the drying temperature within a fairly tight limit - a very few degrees either side of 95C - for a sufficient period - 3 to 4 hours, or even longer if the temperature is at all uneven. don't fuck it up - it is very tricky to do in your kitchen, and poisoning yourself whilst tripping is not fun.
there are other ways to achieve the desired reaction if you have the skills, you could google them if you are interested. i have never tried any of them, but simmering them in water at an accurately measured 95C for 3-4 hours might be a good way i suppose - although the resulting gloop will undoubtedly taste appalling.
people talk about fly agaric trips being dark or heavy - if you process them correctly this isn't really true, it's just that it is difficult to do properly and many people don't realise that you have to. if you can sufficiently convert or degrade nearly all of the ibotenic acid it is certainly an odd, dissociative experience, but not unpleasant - a little bit like dmt tempered strongly with codeine, if that helps, so if anything tending towards rather fuzzy and warm. if you fail to do so it is likely to be a dark, deathlike, nightmarishly awful experience and can also cause serious liver damage and even kill you.

I’ve only done it once or twice and can’t say the experience was bad, but it’s definitely dissociative to a degree and takes you to a darker realm. Perhaps similar to things like Datura.
