Preferably lab tested as don't want to be ingesting solvents

I am hoping that somebody will be able to help me out with some of their expert knowledge.

So I have a family member who is struggling with the booze, badly, but wants to quit. He's like 6 foot 2 and is down to 60kg+/-

He can't do moderation at all, so he'll give up cold turkey and drink 0% lager for a week or so and then the shakes and stuff gets too much and he's back on the whisky.

I've been thinking about suggesting that he tries a small dose of RSO to see if it helps chill him out and get his appetite going the next time he quits for good and stocks up on becks blue.

1st question has to be, is that a stupid idea? lol. He's getting 0 help from the hospital so I'm just thinking how I can help out. If it's going to make things worse I won't bother 🙈

2nd, if it isn't a stupid idea I'll need a way of dosing for him so he can't take too much and go exploring the universe 🤣. My first thought was the little capsules. Would the oil keep OK if it was separated into tiny doses? Or will it dry out or something and go bad?

Or if anybody has any better ideas, I'm wide open.
