Not trying to rant, just something Iβve been noticing more and more β and honestly, Iβve been overthinking it since it happened to me.
Iβve ordered from this vendor multiple times, always happy with the quality. Then, out of nowhere, the latest ounce I received wasβ¦ disappointing. The bud was trimmed fine, but it was dry, weak, and barely had any smell β just not what Iβve come to expect from them.
You message the vendor, and to be fair, some of them do respond and try to βmake it right.β Often, that means sending out 7g of something much better β basically what the original ounce should have been.
And thatβs where Iβm a bit stuck. Because yeah, the 7g might be nice β but it doesnβt really make up for the fact that the original ounce (28g) wasnβt up to standard. It kind of feels like a partial fix to a full problem.
Not saying every vendor is doing this, and I get that mistakes happen, batches vary, etc. But from a buyerβs perspective, it can feel like youβre still taking a loss overall.
Curious how others see it:
Do you think a smaller βmake-goodβ pack is fair?
What would you expect instead in that situation?
Vendors β how do you usually handle complaints like this?
Feels like one of those things where expectations arenβt always aligned, so interested to hear different takes π
