Are you sure the address you sent it to was the newly generated one for that order? Sometimes my exchange defaults to the previous used address unless I change it…

When you say "no joy" from transaxe, do you mean they haven't replied yet or they say they have no record of the transaction?

You need to supply them the address that the coin was sent to. If its an LB address, even one previously used, they will locate and refund you.

Although delays and hiccups can often occur on the blockchain its very rare that transactions are not eventually completed.

In the Exodus app you can use a bank card to buy bitcoin and then send it from your wallet there. Be aware that there are plenty of banks that don’t allow crypto purchases, the wankers.

What’s the problem with Revolut? I buy btc there and send it to Exodus.

The option is there, but, as far as I'm aware, you need to provide ID to buy due to KYC, therefore negating the non-KYC benefit of the Exodus wallet. So, then you'd really have to send it to another non-KYC wallet, then to LB. May as well get it off an exchange and send to Exodus in the first place, I feel.

The only way I would recommend is a cold/hardware wallet I use a trezor but there are lots to choose from. If your coin is on an app linked wallet then it is always potentially at risk.

Use the app to buy the coin and just fill out all of the kyc stuff, as soon as you generate an address on your hardware wallet and send your coin there it is physically in your hand so could be in anyone's hand or lost or stolen. Also fees aren't bumped up so usually around 30c for a transaction.

Up until recently I’d just been using Paybis. Now that they’ve introduced the KYC thing I still buy crypto with Paybis but send it to my Cake wallet before using it to pay for ‘stuff’.

Exodus or Phantom. Both non-KYC and fairly easy to navigate.

Cake wallet has had the shortest delivery time from my experience man

Kraken account to purchase BTC -> kraken wallet (integrated between apps so no chance of mistake transferring) -> payments

High fees but never failed me and abstracts your main account via a wallet

Revolut has become a bank recently if recall it correctly.

They have. The beginning of the end for us crypto customers. Sadly.

A few of you signed up to Bittylicious, Exodus or Phantom (or both) wallets on all of your syndicate's phones, and therefore you can spread the amount that from next year they'll grass you up to HMRC for buying Bitcoin. A number of people only spending a few thousand a year and sending that to a non-KYC wallet should hopefully stay under the radar.

Uh yeah its called a "ratings system" so it works by entering a rating after you buy it. If that's bad and others agree the item/vendor gets a bad rating.

That's how its dealt with and that's really the only way it could possibly work.

1. Stop using a vendor you've had poor service with.
2. This isn't Amazon, we're but entitled to the same rights as consumers.
3. Use established, reliable vendors, even if that means paying a bit more.

Agreed but what is their responsibility...it might not be Amazon but they are a million quid operation not my local guy....? vendors should keep their house in order...

This is why the review system is important. Everyone needs to score only AFTER it's been delivered, and tried. People that score 10 for something arriving are the problem. Biggy will only deal with him if he gets enough disputes. Other than that, use only trusted vendors.

Basically cancelling does nothing other than send a message to the vendor to cancel your order. It's designed like this as your order may actually have been sent, but not marked as such. Spend your money elsewhere in future. If you're mainly into hash I'd be looking at Dr Green Thumb as a reliable vendor of excellent hash. If you want to go super premium then get some $100/g stuff from THC23.

Unfortunately some of the users of this site ARE "shady drug users" just as some vendors are "chancers who chase the money and serve up poor service". With cross allegations often flying left right and centre between the two camps its hardly an enviable task to have to moderate.

Remember that in most respects LB is just a host platform with a payment processor and escrow/dispute resolution algorythm. Is it too much to ask for buyers and sellers to show a little respect to each other and play by the rules themselves?

It is to some extent the nature of the product that Biggas get particularly stressed and hateful when they either don't get what they expect or by the time they were expecting it. Even good vendors doing their very best can take a lot of abuse for the failings of RM or traffic on the blockchain. And sometimes vendors simply make mistakes.

With over 100 vendors at any one time its inevitable that there will be some here that shouldn't be and Admin remove dozens every year. Yes it certainly seems too easy to set up a store here, I guess thats just part of the hippie-vibe. But then perhaps Biggas shouldn't so keen to leap on every new deal or freebie that appear too good to be true?
