It’s all about practicality and convenience, you can roll up flower, you can bong it or even vaporise it but it’s so much more difficult to do that with hash, you have to use specific methods to consume it by itself and even then it’s a bit ball achey, I feel like hash is perfect for that extra little special joint to hit you a bit harder. I hate to say it but I’m a big fan of very specific carts particularly the hitting blinkers ones but my plugs stopped getting them atm(sad times) regardless id open the top of them and rub the oil on the outside of rolling paper when rolled, put good weed in then sprinkle any keef you might have in the bottom of the grinder, fair play you sound like you have some serious bits of hash there might have to do a lil exchange since I have a fair bit of some pretty good top shelf bud aha

We legalized in Czech and there are still more buds than hash. People just like the way how you can be stoned by buds. I agree, James gandolfini’s performance as Tony soprano is akin to Bryan Cranstons Walter white or cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby, but even that aside you have uncle juniors classic remarks or one liners that have you pissing to yourself, Silvios al Pacino impressions that have you copying them and don’t even get me started on Janice, easily one the worst but best characters in the series 😂

Sopranos is one of the best things ever - genuinely think it’s one of the greatest cultural achievements of the century. It’s incredibly well-written and funny. People can sometimes forget how darkly humorous it is. It’s covers every aspect of life. It’s as profound and textured as a great novel.

Gandolfini’s performance is towering in every sense. He’s at the top but the casting is impeccable in general. Edie Falco is brilliant too as a foil, and Michael Imperioli (when he’s crying in the car after the two Tonys make fun of him, just like they did when he was a kid). Really every supporting actor and character is so memorable and compelling. Like you just fucking hated Ralfie, he was such a prick, so well played. And Jackie’s son who gets caught up with those idiot heists, even though it’s a small role it’s so vivid; a young kid trying to stupidly prove himself. Tony Sirico just inhabited Paulie. And Janice of course and Adriana. Anyway, I could go on and on and on ;). I’m just throwing a few random things that came to mind, I could have a completely different list tomorrow! (The FBI agent, Artie Bucco, Furio and his whole arc).

I love Breaking Bad and Cranston is brilliant in it - it’s so well-plotted and exciting and extremely well made. But for me Sopranos is another level in terms of lyricism, surrealism, artistry. There’s a bit of madness to it and the mania of life. And it’s so fucking funny, as you were saying.

Anyway sorry for the waffle, thanks for me making me reminisce about the show! Have to rewatch it now and show my wife :)

Honestly everything you said I could happily repeat till I’m blue in the face, it’s my favourite show of all time and I’m a huge film/tv nerd so seen hundreds of good stuff, sopranos though is in a different ball park, I’m not afraid to admit I’ve seen the whole show about 18 times minimum

It is quite a old show in terms of it being 27 years old but it’s timeless, it’s one of them shows that doesn’t feel its age, I’d highly recommend it, If you love the dark humour and nail biting tense moments in breaking bad then sopranos is definitely for you, watch 3 whole episodes and if you be hooked

Does series 1 complete a story or leave it hanging? I noticed they cancelled season 2. This is one kinda sad reason why I'd rather wait until a TV show completes then download all of it and binge my way through. Too many times I've been left on a cliffhanger that never resolves.

Series 1 can be watched in isolation and you won't be disappointed. I'm just disappointed that they cancelled something that so many people seemed to get hyped about really quickly. The A-Team is on Prime Video mate. 5 series of it!

I believe Netflix cancelled it due to the duffer brothers signing some big 4 year deal with paramount which created heavy strain on their relationship with Netflix as they felt embarrassed cause they were meant to Netflix exclusively but they made that deal, hence why they axed the boroughs as punishment

If so, that's incredibly shitty and I hope HBO pick it up and give it the love it deserves after they absorb Paramount into some even more expensive streaming service.

the trick to a dynavap is an adequate flame low down on the cap where the indent is; keep the flame at a distance where the tip touches the cap as opposed to engulfing it. Turn the dynvap slowly not rapidly to ensure consistent heat distribution. Wait for the click and then immediately cut the flame. You should get two hits per chamber doing this. 1st one will be terpy, the 2nd one will be 'smokey'. Also don't densely pack the oven; fill it generously but loosely. If it's too tightly packed there will be no air flow.
