coinbase asking if i send to self custody wallet or exchange? is this a new thing?
Surely though if you say you are sending it to yourself when you are not, if HMRC investigate that particular wallet….will that mean that you suddenly need to pay tax on ALL of the bitcoin that’s been sent to that wallet by other people?

i chose the option of exchange. then chose the coinbase option. it then asked for receiving name and country. just put an anonymous name and the uk. payment then went through. whether you will be able to do this every time. we will have to see. any feedback welcome.
Really hesitant to order because of this, are there ways to send outside of Coinbase that don’t require this at the moment?
No idea mate, I wont pretend that I understand it either but i'm guessing the changes are more about trying to clamp down on people using crypto to avoid tax and launder money rather than worrying about the likes of us here.

If what you received was different to what you ordered I’d get in touch with the vendor and give them the chance to make it right.
If you got what you ordered but it was substandard then leave an honest review and don’t buy from that vendor again. LB is better than buying from the street, but just like on the street not every buy is going to be outstanding.

How crap? What was the dream sold to you, and the reality? As I'm often reminded with regards to dispute, quality is subjective; however, there has to be an expectation of receiving more or less what you paid for.
and there lies the issue. as it would be my word against the vendor regarding “quality”. but as someone who has sampled a fair few i believe i have an idea as to what was described and what was delivered. perhaps the vendor uses a third party and is unaware of the quality issues. but when you open the bag and there is no smell this always sets alarm bells ringing. to raise a dispute? i don’t know if it’s worth it?

The closest estimate to the average wind speed (Meters per second) recorded in London on Sunday 14th will win an ounce.
For example average wind speed was 10.9 M/S last Sunday, so the winner would have been the closest to this number.
If multiple people guess the same number and they win, the ounce will be split accordingly. Entries will finish at 13:00 on Saturday 13th.

Just used this vendor to try out. Paid for said item on Tuesday lunch time guy tells me it was sent yesterday morning never gave me the tracking. Had to message him a couple of times for the tracking now recieved tracking which states its not even been scanned by Royal Mail yet. Won't this bother using this guy again will see if it actually turns up before I make my next decision on what to do.

What a generous free selection of treats, was lucky enough to receive a nice package from this vendor. I was blown away!!! Twice!!! First time seeing how much he sent and the second time from eating the brownie!!!! There very potent! One is definitely enough. Definitely worth a try if edibles are your thing. Havnt tried the leb or the shake sample yet, but the shake looks great plenty of little nugs in there and smells fresh. The stealth ect was all on point as you would expect it to be, thanks again OV 2.0 👍

Either way iv decided to take a 3 weeks or more off little biggy, too get my routine in order , as Iv been recently getting sloppy on here, and when the signs starts showing, action must be taken, especially one who prides himself on good customer service.
I send my apologies to those that have been affected by my poor customer service recently;
. To those who paid for next day delivery and recieved item a few more days or more later.
. To those who have had there orders cancelled,
. To those who haven't received the top quality budd that I'm usually providing.
I will be posting the extras or samples ,as promised ,as compensation , most definitely from next week coming, for the issues that I have caused.

what to do when you try to stay loyal to one vendor but they never reply to any messages. and you’re never quite sure if your order has been sent or not. can only keep checking for so long. then it has to be so long. just hope they’ve posted my order?

What do you do whenever it’s really poor, unusable product that clogs a puffco? It’s never ever done that before. I’m not even sure it is what they say it is.
Even when it’s not able to be disputed until 7th? I put a bad review because the order was short, then they asked me to change it so I did. But only if I received the missing items. The item quality is awful, never seen anything like it.
I have updated my review. And I have images of the sellers messages begging me to change it. I can take photos of the product, and a video of the mess in the puffco later on today. Don’t really want to use it again, it’s awful, and I’ll have to completely strip and clean my rig out
I hope you sorted this out because no extracts should be clogging the puffco if it's actually genuine extracts.

Royal Mail delivered to a neighbour who was away on holiday
Greencat was able to provide proof of delivery and a photo from RM, allowing me to ID the neighbours door to knock on. 100% RM's mistake, had been addressed correctly by the vendor.
All's well that ends well and the PK gold seal is nice.

He has other accounts? How you know? I think the link in bio is the referral link so you get bitcoin everytime someone else purchases using that link. However I ordered two days ago and it’s not been marked as sent and he is not replying to any messages. I wouldn’t usually be so quick to go public or panic I’m being scammed but with the other posts and reviews coming out about him now I’m concerned
As alf said if not marked as sent it will refund to your wallet, I'm not here to slander anyone's practise or way of conducting themselves, just pointed out my opinion, I hope everyone gets sorted soon x
If the orders not marked as sent you’ll get a auto refund after around 100hrs but if he marks it as sent and doesn’t send it you’ll have to wait I think around 9-10 days then dispute it
he can be a bit quiet and slow at times. but has always delivered in the end. not sure how long you have waited. but can’t see him ripping you off for 500 notes.
He msgd me saying he been ill ans I believe him, once everything is resolved I will remove my comments

I've had the silver bubble here before. A real old school flavour - can really taste the component strains - and it's a lovely bud. You won't go far wrong with GC and there's some proper nice bits available right now. My order is over a day late going in as I couldn't decide what to buy. I'll be back on payday to pick up more.
absolutely vouch for the Green Cat , had over 80 orders. I find his bud unbeatable, particularly when price to quality is factored in. He always has a great range to suit your mood. His comms are on point, almost every order i have some request or another, he always tries to accommodate. have tried alot of the big names on the wall and most of them are great but for me the Cat is who i spend 90% of my dollar with and i dont intend changing. checked with seller. order received just not showing in history. bpm back to a near normal value.
I have had this happen to me with two different orders recently n I was definitely logged in. Sending the payment thinking all is well n good only to check progress n no record on lb of order. There’s something not right. I make several purchase a month and have been doing so for over 3 years. Never had a problem then twice in a month with two different vendors.

i was suprisingly impressed with revolut's bitcoin transaction fees. only worked out to be about 12-13 quid.

So the network fee on Coinbase for making a £50/£60 purchase recently was £13 on top - seems a little steep to me. Any advice on how to bring these costs down?
£15 btc fees are insane, ontop of all of coinbases other fees. Will be the reason I stop using biggy till fees come down
You can't. Fees are dependent on network congestion and/or what people are prepared to pay. Sending last night cost me £12 for high priority, so you're being quoted a fairly 'normal' current fee, but this can fluctuate multiple times an hour. Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon as we're all paying way over the odds currently.
I bought this morning the total fee was £2.98 for the Bitcoin network fee try later on that was around 1:30am check every 5 mins u til it changes.
If you send from a wallet it usually allows you to choose the transaction fee you want to pay, but if the network is congested the fees go up so if your fee is to low it may take ages to go through or not go through at all. if you coin is on an exchange then that won't really help, you just have to wait or swallow the fee
Unfortunately thats the case for everyone due to the network congestion. It should get lower in a few days/weeks
keep Checking the mempool space, if the transaction fees are low then it should be all good to send 👍
I made an order for about $160 and got it for £8.50 fee about 11ish, about an hour later made a $30 order and i was gonna charge £13 fee so cancelled that one
