My free henry arrived today and I've been really impressed with the quality. Quality and shake in the same sentence, who'd have thunk it?

I'm not someone who usually buys shake but this has really made me think twice. Gamechanger by name gamechanger by nature.

Fair and balanced, as usual mate. Definitely agree about cutting down the cost while still having a (in my opinion) very high quality product. This will be more or less my daily smoke for months to come. Saving me shitloads of money in the long run and I'm still getting both super high and stoned off it.

Finally someone selling actual "shake"... rather than just calling it shake when it's actually trim.

The reviews are solid and the product seems to be as described so the price I think is justified if you want the whole 'Cali' thing.

I do hope LB can start to distinguish between 'shake' and 'trim' again because the difference is huge.

Good quality shake should demand a decent price, and good quality trim should too (albeit much lower) but they are simply not the same thing... at all.

Well, hopefully people can see I've put my money where my mouth is here. I wish I was the kind of person who could calmly keep things away to make them last, but I'll probably blast through this like a stoner squirrel who's just woken up after hibernation. But, I do have good intentions. I also wish I'd bought 5+ oz of this at the $130/28g price point as whoever did anything close to that was very canny, and very lucky too. Oh. Had a another joint. Aye so my cali shake arrived yesterday but did not get round to trying it till today. Me bad.

Firstly just want to say that my comments are based on the product shake not “Cali” as we have no way to prove or disprove its origin. I have no reason to disbelieve the vender because they seem sound but it’s something I don’t take into consideration.

Aye all day long. At fucking last another vender with real “shake” as I would expect.

Lovely in the vape. Now I can use the dyna and come back to it and forget that I’ve only had one or two cycles and go to clean it. Then I’m raging as it’s all still packed at the bottom of the oven. In my in scientific 🧪 experience this only happens when I use decent bud.

In my opinion it’s crushed bud all day long. It actually looks like it has been pre grinded before being packed but you do find the occasional wee bud of joy.

Everything the vender said is spot on and I would say that out of the shake / super shake what ever you want to call it. That I have had.

This listing is high up that list 1 or 2 undecided 🤷‍♂️ but it’s fucking close.

1.Because it is real shake in my opinion. Crushed bud and bottom of the bag. Not dried out everything good saturated out it dust/trim and sticks

2. It’s fucking strong. I had a dyna quite early but was a bit mah. Tasted nice but I did not think much of it. Hit it hard before dinner. Strong as fuck end of. Making dinner was a struggle.

Now one point I do disagree on is the price point at the moment.

BB hit the nail on the head with Good quality shake should demand a decent price. Totally agree but at some point and everyone’s limit will be different. There has to be that line where you move from shake to bud.

If you got this when first listed at $130 an Oz. Fair fucking play. Bargain and you should have had a mask on as you would be robbing the vender.

$160 still right in the mix for value for money. Great tasting smoke that’s strong as fuck.

Now when we start getting into the current prices $145 for a 1/2 I begin to question it?

Now I’m not saying for a second that it’s not worth it but for me getting into that price range. Even above the $250 mark especially. I’m looking for something strain specific. I know I want my cake and eating it. Or green and vaping it.

Of course there are others in the same price range. So there definitely is a market of decent shake that price

I’m glad it’s not me doing the selling but it’s a fine line between what people will pay to what the seller thinks it worth.

Just to clarify, I commented on this thread when the price point of GC's shake was at around $130-160 an oz, but in retrospect I probably shouldn't have commented on the price at all.

If GC has raised the price because the supply is low, that's his prerogative.

In general, I think $150 an ounce (or thereabouts) for very good quality shake is about right. But again, this is just my subjective opinion and I must stress that I haven't tried GC's shake, so it could be worth more than that for all I know.

Agreed BB it’s all very subjective as in what it’s worth to what you would pay. As said there are others at the same high end shake price. If it stacks up with them. Which it will then. Good in GC.

Ye been looking at this shake and agree totally up to the vendor what they sell it for but it’s over priced at this point for me. I’ve had top shelf, strain specific Cali pop for not much more than half that price.. a little steep at the mo 😅 definitly keep my eye out if any more comes in at a better price tho!

Regarding proving that it’s real Cali:
I have no reason to lie, my one and only supplier is out in California - I do not sell anything except weed related products imported from Cali directly to myself. I can start posting proof of importation from now on if it eases biggas minds.

I agree this is what “shake” should be, a lot of trim on here is being mislabelled.

Regarding the price:
It’s only $145/14g right now as I’m down to the last oz and in no rush to sell the rest.
You snooze you lose, for the people who got it for $130-160/oz it was well deserved, however I do still need to turn a profit and pay for my time and living expenses somehow. The giveaways also come from my own pocket, as I could just not do them and sell the “prizes” instead.

Having said that, I believe a good fair price point for this quality of shake would be $200/oz.

As I said before, this isn’t usually something our supplier has so I will try my best to get them to go looking for more of this - no promises though.

For me personally it’s all about the quality of smoke/how high I get/how much it takes to get me that high vs the price. This at $200/oz hands down beats all flower on here for quality:price.

$190 and psychologically I'm in all day if you repeat the quality. $200 and I'm starting to think about it. I know 100% this product is worth that, I'm just saying how I'd look at that when listed, and I personally know the product is worth the money. From a sales and marketing perspective I think you may want people to remove that psychological barrier, no matter how stupid that may seem. And it does beat anything I've ever smoked at the price, or higher.

I can only apologise in advance that I've tempted you to buy when you could have had it cheaper, and I'm sure it won't be long before it sells out, even at the higher prices. I fully understand the not buying something if it could be a daily smoke replacement and won't be available in quantity for long, and that's why I bought the (nicely over) oz as a gamble based on assurance at $160, and then doubled down and got 3 more closer to the current higher price. I couldn't let it go. I've had 2 joints today and my head is pinned to my pillow currently. I've had multiple deliveries of premium products, and I don't want to smoke anything other than this.

Took me ages to figure out what the smell was. Anyone who's bought this, and also has a little (huge?) pot of live resin handy: grind the shake, smell, wait, smell live resin, wait, smell shake again. Why do they smell so similar, and I've never smelled that before from a bud grind. Or, if I have, I clearly haven't recognised it as such. Odd, but noteworthy.
