The Apple store is looking more and more like the AT&T store or Orange where every time you are there you see a customer that has lost their temper with frustration.
Many of the employees avoid eye contact and are as happy to be there as a Walmart clerk. If you do speak with them they are idiots, unless they are classified as Geniuses in which case they are just not so bright.
It's just like the products, beautiful shiny materials protecting a rigid and increasingly dumb core.
The last few “generations” of iPhone and the watch have been a shitty cash grab. A fucking x,Xr and xs releases not so long ago and now a fucking 11, 11 s and 11 pro released like what less than 2 years later with a new screen? Fuck you apple.
Definitely Apple. Shouldn't come as a surprise. It's happened before when the stockholders decided to get rid of him. All l remember about Tim Cook is the first time he addressed his U.S. employees in a theater the way Steve did when he brought out a new product. Instead of talking about future of the company he decided to come out of the closet. Who gives a shit! It has absolutely nothing to do with the company. Is it a surprise the watch has been a colossal failure when all he was concerned with is his sexual orientation? Steve would probably be happy that he's no longer alive to see what's happening to his pride and joy.
year after year tim cook has squeezed every buck out of users with shitty dark patterns but that's not the worst part. none of this money has produced anything except phones indistinguishable from the last models and computers suited for a museum.
the coup de gras? trade in-plans? credit cards? how about making movies instead of tech. it's a strategy that not only sunk sony but every sucker that ever walked into hollywood.
I mean, the link stuff is fair enough. Why would you pay to help people that went out of their way to fuck with your personal life? It's Gawker staff that want the program, the same staff that outed him for clicks. They can fuck right off frankly.
As for movies, I'm of the opinion that the greatest thing Steve Jobs did for the world wasn't Apple. It was Pixar, and that is his real legacy, still strong today.
pixar is holding up better for sure, i think he really built time into making sure they had a sustainable creative system. that said there quality is also down, i can't imagine him letting them fall this far even in disney's hands.
No, it depends on the individual computer and the capabilities of its graphics card and its CPU. I've used both Mac and PC in college last semester when developing a VR game and once it has a powerful graphics card and CPU it'll be more than capable of creating VR content.
instincts are linked to emotions as steve proved to this nExt programmer. https://www.quora.com/What-was-it-like-to-be-a-software-engineer-at-NeXT-Did-workers-interact-with-Steve-Jobs/answer/Paul-King-2
How about just streaming music? This guy says "If Apple could fit the nano with a 4G chip strictly for music streaming (much like Amazon does with its Kindle e-readers), it could be an always-on gadget that puts not thousands of songs in your pocket, but tens of millions."
No I see the little (abandoned) ipods as a wearable, they are ready to strap on, an after maket kick starter did just this years ago. The iPod touch is a whole different polemic, it should have cellular access and be an iPad that fits in your pocket. But oh what would the carriers think? Greed not need that's how it works.
