And then ontop of that charging silly prices for the postal, or it’s not even optional, have to ask for the lister directly? What kind of nonsense is that. I also understand we’re all busy, but if your cut off time is before a certain time atleast surely be there actually looking at the orders and messages that way orders don’t get messed up & or people can actually make orders before cut off.
I don’t think it is, tbh I think the price of weed has plummeted, a flooded market Is driving prices down.
In 2020, I was selling “northern lights” B grade bucket weed on here for $200 per ounce and it sold quickly and everyone was happy.
I now sell top end uk grown highly selective weed at $235 in 2026

Out of a 28g sale now, i get £150-160
After fees, excluding postage
6 years ago, £5200 for a k, direct to middle man was the norm, works out at £150 per 28g

Which vendors are you having issue with? I would advise you message vendors to confirm, I got good comms from Buddha best and radar breeder, magic vape, greenmangb, these guys will let you know when your order would be processed/dispatched... others like green cat don't have quick comms but are very reliable in quick dispatch... royal snail is another factor... ✌️

I will go against the grain and say women are far less shallow than men. I had a friend who was 5'8, skinny as a rake but could pull a 10/10 every time we went out. I honestly have 0 examples of unfortunate looking women pulling model looking men. I am sure it happens, but far less.

If it's in your genes it's unavoidable my friend. I started going bald in my mid 30s. As Clive James once said the O at the back of my head started getting closer to the W at the front. I finally accepted the truth when I was about 40 and had it all shaved off. Then a couple of years later I went for the classic compensation and grew a beard. 30 years later I'm still shaved and bearded.
It's possible to take finasteride topically without the side effects. Not sure where you can get that - maybe somebody here.

Depends on the motivations I guess. I mean you can choose to believe in an afterlife because it provides you succour and hope in this life and can never be disproved. For a lot of people thats reason enough.
Believing that someone loves you and giving that love in return gives life richness and purpose which is a pretty strong reason.
Believing in yourself again gives you motivation to strive and work hard even if outcomes are mixed.
On a scale of cosmic consiousness (sp?) all that we percieve may not be reality at all and I do believe we only perceive a tiny fraction of some bigger reality. But heyho....we gotta deal with whats in front of us....

Prompted to start this because I just found out Andy Kershaw passed last month. I'm not into hero worship but there's some people that just play a big part in your life. For me Andy, Annie Nightingale, John Peel. Set me thinking about "famous" people that influence our lives whether we like it or not. Of course goes beyond radio. For me literature especially. Hunter S Thompson, W G Sebald, Vasily Grossman, Michael Moorcroft, Denton Welch prime examples. Then music Tom Waits, Neil Young, Ry Cooder. Anyway the list could go on. What are your influences?

finally someone said Blue Lines. It's odd because in a lot of ways musically I don't rate it highly, it's kind of clumsy in parts, some of the ideas are underdeveloped, some of it almost makes me cringe. But there was just something so special about that time and the sound felt so new and yet familiar. The b-side of the sit down single is Live at the Manchester Gmex. On headphones is still the best crowd singing of a song to date.

utterly brilliant albumn Dubside, saw them do the 10th aniversary tour playing the whole albumn live its was epic.
I can safely say that Appetite for Destruction is the album I've listened to the most. Carousel by Subcircus has had well over 20 years love from me as well

Never heard of either band before this shout. I listened to Epic Garden Music this morning on a hike and it's fantastic love the use of the keyboard and you can really hear early elements of shoegaze taking shape on tracks like "Lope" and "ART".. This is a very good band crisp.. Try listening to Soul Mining and Dusk by The The and tell me what you think. Anyway stay cool compadre.

Freak folk types crooning through a psychedelic wall of sound. Production on this album is spot on and contributions from Kria Brekkan on keys really fills out the sound. I haven't enjoyed anything they've done since very much. This is peak AC in my opinion.

I think his and my politics are probably polar opposites, but you could get fucked up at a party with him and have an amazing time. Anyway, good book. Breaks down all sorts of different political stances, and Good Communism is one chapter, and Bad Communism another. He's a funny guy, but maybe don't consider it as in depth reasoned academic analysis.

You shouldn't be allowed to claim any benefits while in full time employment. It's crazy, we are basically subsidising employers who ought to be paying more.
And I hope that, one day, employers decide paying a living wage is more important than ever increasing profits such that in work benefits are no longer necessary. I propose a link between maximum and minimum pay within an organisation. Let's say; no pay ( overall package including bonuses, perks and dividends) higher than 5x the lowest full time salary.

If we ask what communism is attempting which is elimination of hierarchy, collective ownership and resource equality it looks good on the surface but in reality if you look at Cuba and ask any Cuban that managed to fled the country they will tell you when communism is applied through force and suppression it disrupts and destroys instead of harmonising. Maybe could have worked in Russia if not for Stalin. The guy was a psycopathic shit. That said he did industrialise the country which had been largely feudal. Crazy that despite his murderous tendencies his memory has been restored in current day Russia. Communism is inherently tyrannical. History shows that. There aren’t any examples of success for a reason. It goes against the human spirit. Millions more died die to its tyranny than under the Nazis but you never see documentaries on the BBC or Netflix about Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. Capitalism isn’t perfect by a long way but meritocracy is natural and drives progress. People to an extent sort themselves into roles and structures on natural ability and interest. Socialism just teaches people to rely on the state whilst the state gets to dictate how people think and behave. It’s ideological tyranny on the one extreme and financial exploitation of a liberal society by the few on the other. My grandad was a carpenter and paid his subs to his union for years until he acknowledged the financial and ideological corruption that it was based on.

Totally! When we went on a safari in South Africa the ranger told us about how when animals graze, the grass "scream" and send singles to the surrounding area which makes the animals move on .... And then you have the fungi systems under trees - now that's as a world of its own that communicates to each other, connecting for miles and miles, looking after one another - the intelligence is mind blowing - humans could learn a lot if only they connected more with them by using the amazing medicines we have on LB! peace and love to you all

Personally I have never gone so far or deep on any of the medicines that I have used from here. So far the meds help me better with day to day challenges, but I have yet to take the cosmic leaps that occur during meditation.
Having said that I also have to say that meds on this site have helped me be ABLE to meditate. Quieting the mind is not easy, a bit of help is always a good thing.

Yes, plants DO mind. Just because you can't communicate with them does not mean that they are not sentient in their own way. Please don't assume that a brain is the ultimate organ. As science has progressed we have learned that there are neural clusters in different areas of our bodies actually work like assistant brains. That's the best way I can explain it.

I think you make far too many assumptions. Who says that a brain or a mind are required for sentience? We humans know how we work fairly well. That doesn't mean we have the ability to understand such an alien right under our noses.

I feel that inheritance tax is a good thing, however, it should not go to the treasury, but instead to the local authority. In this way it benefits the community they were a part of, rather than a meaningless black hole of untraceable generic funding, that is as likely to be spent on Boris Johnsons security guards as it is something actually worthwhile. I feel the same about funds of closed companies automatically going to the treasury. It should be used locally where they need the money.

The infrastructure of the country is what has allowed an individual to accumulate the wealth. If someone is so greedy that they think it is preposterous to pay inheritance tax they are free to live elsewhere. The problem of the ultra-wealthy finding ways around paying any taxes at all is another issue of course. And yes the country is still mired in feudalism hence the landed gentry still being around and anachronisms such as hereditary peers sitting in the house of lords.

Because if you don't the entire wealth of the country would be in the hands of a tiny group of people living on inherited wealth and enjoying the benefits of rent and compound interest. I will lose a reasonable sum to inheritance tax on my death and although it's annoying I also recognise that it's unavoidable if we are going to have a society with any degree of equity or hope for 95% of people. Compound interest over 100s of years creates massive fortunes often in terms of land and property these are finite resources. You can also gift huge amounts to your children before you die, if you get rid ten years before you pop your clogs IHT doesn't get it.

From bible belt to Disney land and everything in-between. We saw American culture this way years ago because we had very limited access to the products and lifestyle they had. When we did get the brands they were expensive and now that all things are world wide it's not so attractive anymore. You love what you can't have I guess. Underneath there are huge problems with opioid and fentanyl abuse in all big cities. That's the image of America these days, that and police brutality headlines. Wacky leadership isnt going to win any international friends as we have already seen with tariffs and so on. On the contrary the country has truly outstanding beauty and lots of good people aswell as bad. To save it? Wealth distribution is a huge factor as is free health care, those 2 alone must be the starting point for change

Bayesian averages into rankings would reward consistent quality and take away some of the juice of early (self inflicted) ratings.

I don't think there is a good way of regulating this.
But if everyone votes everything 10/10 then there is no way of knowing what is actually good.
Most of what I buy is probably around a 7.
Currently I am relying on items with >10 purchases and a score >9.6.
I feel bad giving realistic scores to items, because it is shafting vendors who are doing nothing wrong.
Likewise though, an 8 on here is usually indicative of serious problems (or tactical voting by competition).
Any ideas?

The last few “generations” of iPhone and the watch have been a shitty cash grab. A fucking x,Xr and xs releases not so long ago and now a fucking 11, 11 s and 11 pro released like what less than 2 years later with a new screen? Fuck you apple.
Definitely Apple. Shouldn't come as a surprise. It's happened before when the stockholders decided to get rid of him. All l remember about Tim Cook is the first time he addressed his U.S. employees in a theater the way Steve did when he brought out a new product. Instead of talking about future of the company he decided to come out of the closet. Who gives a shit! It has absolutely nothing to do with the company. Is it a surprise the watch has been a colossal failure when all he was concerned with is his sexual orientation? Steve would probably be happy that he's no longer alive to see what's happening to his pride and joy.

I can't either. I think it depends what device you use for example a phone laptop or desktop as it seems some people can and others can't.

Chris's Morris's own darkly disturbing piece of comedy genius 'Jam" produced its share of memorable moments....this absolutely being one...
Brilliant. I straightaway thought of Jam too - so many good scenes there - and his radio series Blue Jam before that. The monologue above is quite a trip. So good stoned as well :D
Most of the clips i struggled to choose between when this was first posted had Chris Morris involved in some way, obviously Jam, Brass Eye and The Day today are all genius but hes had a hand in so many other great comedy moments, like as the narrator here...
Fantastic - just my sort of comedy! I missed this first time round. Big fan of Spaced, League, Big Train, etc. AND ambient music. Gonna listen to this series on headphones and there is a "remix" version (whaaa...?) of Jam called Jaaaam that looks good, too.
