Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any idea of the source of the weed we buy from venders here? I ask as a good friend of mine who lets a house out has just had his house ruined by an Albanian crime ring that turned his house into a weed factory, they literally gutted the house ripped all the wiring out holes through the ceiling, there had been fires from the dodgy electrics they had run from a lamp post and they had a poor Albanian slave locked in there running it, who feared for his life if he tried to run. It really hit home and I would hate to be contributing to this sort of thing.
Was thinking about this yesterday. I started shopping here a few months ago because I had to stop growing my own. It was nice to know you were full organic, not bothering anyone, not causing any problems with your smoke. But because it's illegal here I am getting it from god knows where :(
Noble enough sentiment, but you do then start to ask about the potential human cost that put your shirt on your back and the potential inhumanity that put that sausage on your plate. I get it that suffering in the drug chain is a big part of the ‘Just Say No’ argument but it’s hardly unique in mass consumerism. I guess growing your own is the way to go (and making your own clothes, going vegan etc)...just don’t have time.
There are others on here who do this, like ChronusBuds and British Bulldog. I have yet to try them, but it looks like they get v.good feedback too.
When a new indie grower like this joins LB comes along and gets noticed, there are usually multiple attempts to leave fake negative reviews. These can only be coming from some of the shadier vendors trying to force them off the items wall, or off the site completely - just ignore this kind of hate and show love to the decent biggaz!
I agree, I really don’t want to be part of a problem with the most simple answer (legalise it, but a conversation for another time).
Thank you for highlighting vendors you have researched, I will look them up.
If I may just add to your list of decent vendors, I have been using MKK2020 a lot and I believe they grow a lot of their own. The service is excellent to the point where I had a minor issue and they resolved it brilliantly.
Thanks for your openness, I get the feeling most venders on here are genuine like yourself, but there is a dark side to this industry that are also in the business of people trafficking and slavery and there products should not reach the LB community.
What kind of cartridge mouth piece would you like?
We like to get some feedback on what kind of mouth pieces you want for the cartridges. We have offered wooden mouth pieces (both duckbill and barrel). But not everybody likes wooden mouth pieces, so we like to know want would you prefer? So we can provide more options in the future. Please specify material and shape. Picture is just an example, there are other options available. Anything else you like to add? Please do.
UPDATE: After receiving my first order and trying one of the wooden tips i said i was not keen on in the below post, i can now say they are not as bad as i was making out. I still prefer Ceramic, Plastic or Metal though, but having a Wooden piece would not put me off buying them. The question was asked which mouthpiece we prefer and i can only give my honest answer.
Hi there, i have not ordered with you before but i'm going to at some point this weekend, i have taken the last 2+ months off to kick the joints habit and i always said, when the time is right, vaping will replace joints outright for me, and that time is now. Vape carts are the only thing i will be looking at from now on.
In answer to your question about preferred barrel, my answer is any barrel that is not wooden, because wooden barrels are rubbish. They look good, but thats the only good thing i can say about them. They don't feel good on the mouth and they don't draw as well as plastic or metal.
They can also induce flashback trauma for anyone who has tried a Calishatter Vape Cart, who use the wooden barrels, because their vape carts are abysmal. I vaped 1/4 of it and threw it in the bin in disgust. You buy them once and you don't buy them again, that's how it goes with them.
My favs are the metal hourglass ones, but any apart from the bullets are fine with me :) on a related note I've just discovered the Liberty X5 carts. Bottom intake holes so no wastage and adjustable airflow. Definitely the best carts I've used Peace
What is nice about wood is that for a piece of disposable tech, at least the wood biodegrades easily: as for the Liberty X5 they are not suited for more viscous oils, so depending on viscosity please stick to ccell or move up the Liberty product line. I have one of your wooden bills now and they are not cold on the lips, probably a bit harder to clean if sharing, and maybe splinter possibility? But so far I really like wood
I appreciate the frustration but I can assure you they do NOT rip you off in any way, shape or form. If your product got seized, then there’s not a lot you can do. Randomly calling them cunts and stating they ripped you off without any context is fucking useless. Either keep quiet or explain the situation so people can make informed decisions in future.
So if it got seized MJ didn’t rip you off. And possibly you made simple mistake; just take it easy man. Mj rules in my experience ordering many times. The most likely problem is you or the authorities, and from your reaction I’m leaning towards you.
MJ: I love your distillate! Thank you ! but not sure about the atomiser, they clog though this is solved by preheating, but I wondered about switching to ceramic or ccell draw activated tech? Also find the Liberty v5(v1? your header refers to V1s) doesn’t fit some vaporisers; just a thought
I've been vaping for several months now (buying carts here) in an effort to cut back on smoking, and the other day I had a kind of "sit-bolt-upright" moment when someone I trust explained the health and safety dangers involved in blackmarket carts, and that you can't be sure what you're inhaling unless it's made legit and professionally (purchased from a dispensary) so you can trust (and get to see results for) the tests which are done on it.
Obvious I know, but I hadn't really thought properly about it until now. Is there anyone here with some proper knowledge on this, on testing etc, who might be able to comment and perhaps put worried minds to ease?
I’ve seen some vendors who specialise in extracts showing test results that check for synthetic cannabinoids and identification of the contents, I think it’s called narco check or something. Would be great if more vendors started doing this, would definitely put my mind at ease
There is a big distinction between vape liquid that use vit E etc to make the consistency vape able and distillate. Vape liquid is a more liquid, distillate is ‘pure’ and terpenes added are being returned after distillate process removed them. The distillate carts are purer... that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be tainted. But the reason the vitamin e went quiet is that people stopped putting that in, people stopped getting ill: we still need a regulated market and ideally these product would be tested, I thought LB offered a testing service?
Friend Let me tell you a bit from my journey, i started off with cbd , then progressed to source thc locally from some vendors who have a presence. I must say never felt any ill effects but like you its very difficult to say if there are any pesticides or any other noxious issue in the locally sourced Uk cart makers. We must admit these people are providing a beneficial public service to people like us or who are afflicted with things like arthritis who cant get this amazing compound in the UK. Then i went to another vendor - very well respected to get carts from US - he has never let me down and his ratings show. The carts are 100% legit and i have even checked serial numbers to the manufactureres websites and it all checks out and yes no one can be sure but i would trust a bonafide company like SELECT or HEAVY HITTERS or FRIENDLY FARMS not to do this. I must say these proper company carts packs a super punch and less goes a long way - i still get BUd sourced locally and maybe some edible oils from canada through a relative. Not being disrespectful to anyones craft here and these people on biggy from the UK are all Artisans in my books but with carts i just prefer the bonafide company thing with edibles i source them from the UK SPAIN and from some people on biggy and its ok
The sun will properly shine when this becomes bonafide in the UK - hopefully Biden should pave the way and i think overall the stance of UK police to small amounts for consumption has softened
It’s pretty revealing that even in some US states that have legal weed they have banned carts! They can’t seem to get to the bottom of what’s causing the sudden health issues- some say it’s added solvents, even pesticides! Much debate was about soluble vitamin e used as a filler, but that all went quiet...
I wouldn't eat food from America and I wouldn't drink their water either.... something being legal in the US definitely doesn't make it clean or safe. They have a completely different idea of what that means compared to us on this side of the world.
Obviously it doesn't help that everything is illegal here but a lot of stoners have started putting WAY too much faith in US corps, which is a bit odd in itself lol.
I did read about the Vit-E issue (it was in reference to CBD carts) but I didn't realise that some legal states have banned carts even if they're produced with the proper safety and testing protocols. I have carts here and I'm too scared to vape them now!
ALL vape carts are getting a tough time in the US now. I don’t know if the mystery health issues with vaping are being used as a scare tactic because of the uplift in ‘kids’ taking up vaping and the packaging and flavourings which are arguably quite kiddy centric...
I've never had the luck of the MJ cookie after several orders, but I look forward to it's inclusion on a future order! Fingers crossed.
Otherwise - thank you for always being super legit. I've waited three weeks for a package to drop before and wasn't worried for a second. Really makes the sciatic pain that little more bearable without the need to smoke. Thanks dude.
Missed out on the cookie on the previous 2 orders. Hope the cannabutter is in process of being made. With that being said, i'd even buy it as an item if it was listed (but keep up including the free one) it's a great treat for our orders :) Powerful stuff
They are strong - but that’s a good thing mate, getting something of that quality for free. Awesome doesn’t describe it. Now I know I just cut mine into quarters. Thanks for the good free stuff. I’ll be ordering some gummy bears and jerky tomorrow. Can’wait!
I got a cookie too . First time ordering from MJ... and it is good, but what is in it? I’ve only nibbled a total of 1/4 of it on 3 separate occasions and it was strong each time(so 1/12 of a cookie) is it only thc? I’ve only had a 1/4 of one square of chocolate and it was fine, in fact not much effect, so just trying to understand the difference between the cookie and chocolate; I’m new to edibles thanks. Should I expect the gummies to be like cookie?
I've never had a bad experience with edibles thankfully but when I was there once I'd just checked into my hotel and went to use the lift. the doors opened and a woman who really didnt look the type was standing in front of me absolutely green and then collapsed. her husband started apologising before starting to laugh...... it can effect people in many diff ways hahahahahah
hi folks, I've been trying to make a purchase using BTC via Bitpanda. When thru to the send page I enter the address and input SEND. I keep getting 'wallet balance is too low' message on Bitpanda. I thought maybe fees are insanely high so I did a test to buy an item costing half of my original intended amount just to see if it could go through. Nope, still the same message. Bitpanda not answering my query either, just stuck with the BTC that I can't spend! If anyone is having the same problem or has any suggestions I would really appreciate any advice. cheers (sent 5.3.21)
thanks everyone for your responses, massive help!. If I am understanding correctly then this is not a problem specific to Bitpanda but is because of the price of BTC causing exorbitant fees? What I am still unclear about is why I am getting the 'wallet balance is too low' message before I input any amount to send at all. Is this message because my total BTC balance is too low (0.00128657 BTC -£44.50 atm) or is there a minimum amount threshold to send BTC and my send amount does not meet it? trying to pay around 0.0011 approx but never reach the stage to input the amount? If the solution is just to buy another £25 worth of BTC then at least my options are clear and I can choose to buy but if I do that only to find that the reason is something different then I am in a worse situation and without my (eagerly awaited!) purchase. I guess if the reason is just market volatility then there may be no point in contacting Bitpanda again (still no reply to my first contact last month). Is it best to sit and wait a bit for BTC value to drop (if at all) or just bite the bullet, buy more BTC to make a purchase and swallow the high fees and total cost? Any thoughts would be really useful to help me understand what's going on and get a good result. Cheers (sent 06/03/21)
0.0015 is the minimum you can send, this has never changed. But the value of BTC has gone up so now you can't buy anything less than about 70 dollars worth on here. I've had to change up how I order things, as half q's and vape carts are out the window now. Either LB starts allowing other crypto's or the vendors are going to lose out on sales, because not everybody can afford 7g minimum each time
I am having the same problems with Bitpanda at the moment. It is saying the balance is too low because there is a minimum spend of .0015, which is really expensive at the moment with the price of bitcoin. This is the minimum spend so you will need this amount in your account and you will need to spend at least that amount. I have that in my account but the things I want to buy off here are not as expensive as .0015, its really annoying.
That explains my problem! Thanks for the info. I have just over 0.0012 BTC in my wallet. I will have to top up £25 worth of BTC. The actual difference between my balance and the minimum balance/send amount is 0.0003 BTC (around £10ish). The item I am after is around 0.0012 so I may have to do what you did Smarty1 and just pay the vendor a bit extra to make up the amount to the minimum required. Could see it as a tip to vendor and to be fair they have been great generally so deserve it anyhow. Only other option would be to buy larger amount but then total spend starts to get unaffordable. Also I had the experience of a delivery not arriving a few months ago, would be gutted to lose an larger order thru the post. Probably go for the Smarty1 idea and pay vendor the extra 0.0003 BTC. BTW Smarty1, where did you find out the minimum account balance/spend amount? I can only see min. withdrawal amount in BP info, does that count as a min SEND amount or should I be looking somewhere else? Cheers,
Yeah its a bit annoying but if its a good vendor I don't mind. I was thinking it might change soon with the price of bitcoin increasing.
There isn't a minimum spend I can see in the T&Cs which is annoying and its only recently happening to me. Its when I am sending over bitcoin and and I type in anything under .0015, it says just below the box you are typing in that the minimum transaction is .0015. Try setting it up as a test payment (without sending anything) and look just below the box.
If you want to check a fee pretend to go through with sending, pick your address (even tough your not sending) it will bring you to the next page where you can see the fee for sending at that time. I went to buy last week and had the same problem but to avoid it I had to send an extra 5 quid to the vendor as the transaction didnt meet minimum transaction amount. It should also tell you the minimum amount possible to send at that time. The more stable bitcoin is the better the fee will be if it is volatile the fee will also be volitile. Early hours of the morning seem best as less transactions are taking place at that time.
thanks for you reply.I think I tried your suggestion but I get the WALLET BALANCE TOO LOW alert before even inputting the amount to send. Do you reckon that my BTC balance (0.00128657 BTC) is therefore too low to make any purchase and pay fees? looking to buy item total of 0.0012 but obviously send fees would be on top of that. You mention a minimum transaction amount but I was unaware that there is one, is that stated on the Bitpanda website? I can only find minimum withdrawal amount, is that the same thing? If the fees are very high atm then I can understand that my balance may not cover fees plus a minimum (£25?) send amount. Am I getting it right? cheers buddy
Yes I think there is a minimum amount you would need to send to complete the transaction. When mine failed it said the transaction was too low. So it then gave the minimum amount I would have to send if I wanted to send the money. I had to pay the vendor an additional 4 quid to bring it to minimum required to send.
thanks for your quick reply, my problem is that I don't even get to the stage of inputting an amount to send, the 'balance too low' message displays at the stage just before the level you describe so it must be for another reason unrelated to the amount I want to send. I have seen the ' transaction amount too low' message you mention on previous buys and I solved the issue by topping up my BTC. I can only guess that if fees are so high atm then they would eat up a big chunk of my BTC balance which would then fall below the minimum send amount thus triggering the 'balance too low' message before Bitpanda knows the amount I wish to send. In this case I guess the solution would be to top up my BTC balance, does that make sense? many thanks
Thanks for the heads up on current fees.Just tried a purchase, still getting balance too low message. Looks like the only option I have is to buy another £25 of BTC and see what happens. I'd be gutted if I get the same message and can't complete purchase but don't know what other option I have. at this time my Balance is 0.00128657 BTC, the item I tried to buy is 0.001 BTC inc postage.Do you think the reason for the 'balance too low message' would be just due to fees? cheers
With Bitpanda the transaction fee doesn't depend on how much you're sending. It is based on how much activity there is on the whole bitcoin network at the time. I think the problem you're having is that the amount in your bitcoin wallet isn't enough to cover the £25 minimum plus whatever the transaction fee is right now. same problem for me… I currently have about £55 worth of BTC and I'm getting the same message as you, suggesting the transaction fee is above £30 currently.
yeah that makes sense to wait and also to buy in bulk. My reserve stash is getting worryingly low but struggling with the thought of paying £30 fees for a £45 buy. I am having to accept that in current conditions it is too costly to buy a small order, don't want to get 7g or more in one go but it is actually the most sensible option economically. Either that or be more Zen about it and accept that I will run out and just wait for better conditions (sounds horrific to me !!). If I do that the one advantage of a break is the massive hit I'll get when I do have a puff after!
hi Dopedad, thanks for your response, can I ask, when you say 'they had a minimum withdrawal amount of £45 worth of BTC.' was it with Bitpanda and if so is that a general rule of theirs (that I missed before)? If that is the case then just topping up might be my solution, cheers mate. (sent 06/03/21)
I get two different errors at the moment: the first related to min purchase which currently fluctuates around .001btc any order has to be more than that and then the total cost has to include .0003 or so in fees so you need enough to cover both and be over the minimum in your wallet so you might need .002 in the wallet to buy .001? There could be other mojo at work
Same for me. There’s no real idea of the fee until the transaction. Last one I did was a lot higher for fees than before. In fairness it does warn you of any possible shortfall when fees are taken into account but I’d agree entirely that you don’t know what the fee will be. Three or four transactions have been very low fees but I’ve had to ‘top-up’ by £25 at least twice which is a bloody nuisance. It’s all a bit of a mystery!
coinbase sounds easy to register with and seems like a good option, what I would like to do is set up a coinbase account, send my BTC from Bitpanda to a coinbase wallet and make a purchase paying the vendor from my coinbase wallet. I'm quite new on crypto so not sure if this is possible. will look into it. thanks
I would never ever recommend using Coinbase to buy your BTC, it’s by far and away one of the most expensive for fees etc, avoid like the plague. Not sure how it compares to Bitpanda as never used it but Coinbase is not cheap at all.
thanks TK42 for your advice. I guess for the moment I'm stuck with Bitpanda at least until I've made a purchase unless there's a way to set up a wallet hosted somewhere else, move my BTC there and buy from there. Not sure if doing so would save me any money this time round and sounds like a hassle. Once I've ordered my item I'll come back here to get advice on using a different exchange. Changing exchange may not reduce fees, not sure and don't know enough atm to know exactly what to do. thanks everyone
Hi again folks, sorry to keep banging on about the same thing, really appreciate all the help and suggestions so far, I currently have 0.00128657 BTC in my BTC wallet in Bitpanda. trying to make a purchase here that totals 0.0012 BTC. Keep getting the 'wallet balance too low' before even inputting amount. Feeling frustrated at not being able to make purchase, is the best course of action to simply buy another £25 worth of BTC? If I understand correctly is this message from Bitpanda due to very high fees that would eat up the majority of my BTC wallet balance taking me below a minimum send amount? Have found it hard to understand info on Bitpanda site regarding minimum withdrawal, is this the same as minimum send amount (which is not quoted on info page) Just don't want to buy more BTC to find that the problem is unrelated to my balance. sorry to repeat my questions just trying to understand the best course of action. many thanks
thanks for your advice, I think that's the only option I have. as you say bevbevan1, my account probably is just a few pounds short to cover a purchase plus fees and meet the minimum send amount, didn't really want to buy the BTC right now but I know I would change my mind if I run out, wish I could be chilled enough to just run out and not stress about it but the closer I get to running dry the less I worry about spending the money, not good I know but it seems to keep me on an even keel! I smoke so little (about 3.5g every 6 weeks or so) so feel ok about it, works out about £1/day as I calculated it, that's how I justify it to myself anyhow! cheers everyone
we would love a full test too. Ones we can provide this we will. The 50% is more an estimate. We were able to test that the pure rosin had 73.6% THCa. This was with our own testing equipment. We didn't add that much falvourless terps, but after adding this and also decarbed it. Our testing equipment could not test it anymore. So it is watered down but hard to tell by how much.
Ones we know an address where we can test safely we would love to know our selfs
Can someone explain to me please, old codger here. I’m a member of another cannabis community and they go mad for these kind of vapes. Granted they are not by this seller but people pay serious money for friendly farms and suchlike.
Rosin carts are still a niche in the market and maybe it will stay that way. The reason we are trying this because we were wondering our self's: Why don't you see rosin and rosin carts more in the market. Even in the US not that many either but there are some very exciting companies out there like you mention. Blue River Terp is also doing some really cool stuff. I think there are two factors in play here. It is very hard to keep the cannabinoids on a consistent level in a large production environment. I think that is why so see a lot more distillates concentrates in carts.
Second is the whole discussion if you should put rosin in carts in the 1st place. Rosin is the only true solvent less concentrate out there compared to a lot that are solvent free. You can not put rosin directly in carts, you are going to need some kind of cutting agent, liquidizer terpenes etc in it, to make it less viscous. Too a lot of rosin purist's: that defeats the purpose of making rosin if you start adding stuff to it.
I agree that dabbing rosin will be the best taste experience but it can be messy and is has no stealth. A vape cart is super convenient and has much better stealth.
I just compare it to making espresso. You can grind your own beans and all that beautiful stuff. Or you choose a Nesspresso machine. Maybe not as good, but a lot more convenient. We are very curious too if people will like it. Time will tell :-)
Thanks for the explanation mate. As I said I know a lot of people who love these, not your brand but live rosin carts and they seem to think they are the future. Apparently they taste way better than a solvent cart but I suppose that’s to be expected as solvents are not exactly harmless.
That is correct. Although there is some discussion within the industry if Rosin is full spectrum and some call it broad spectrum. But you get a lot more cannabinoids then with for example distillate. And the natural terpenes too.
The new apple fritter flavour is made from a new distillate we are trialing. I believe that this distillate is just as strong and a little smoother, but it is ultimately is down to you, our valued customers. Feedback is much appreciated . Thank you
I just meant info in the listing above; but didn’t think to search or that it was a ‘known’ variety.. thanks again and for all the excellent work Ps is there any possibility of full spectrum distillate Cbd +Thc?
Well I got my cart and am happy with the high. To truly test the smoothness I’d have to compare against a flavour I was familiar with - I’d never had apple fritters before. But it is smooth (I use Amigo middle voltage setting) Def no complaints from my perspective. Great work as always....
I've ordered the indica to help with sleep on an every day basis. The strongest insomnia meds from the doctors don't touch the sides, but I had good results with the canna chocolate, and have been advised the pj would be very good. I don't want to be off my face, ( on normal Sunday- Thursday nights at least. I've read in the reviews that it takes 4 hours to peak and lasts 10 hours! I don't want to wake up with the room spinning and ready to vom. I'm a petite girl with no tolerance to speak of. Throw embarrassing whiteys quite easily if I go overboard a little. 2 squares of the chocolate ( taken a good 4 hours between each other), and I'm totally wasted, and partly not in a good way. Can someone recommend what time I ought to take this just to get a good night's sleep, and just a nice chill before sparko. Sorry for all the questions, clueless Thank you:)
Thank you forestfire :) Space tea? A drop in your tea? Sorry, it's been ages since I've had anything to do with cannabis, and the obvious isn't that obvious. But is it the obvious? Just add a drop to tea, or more to it than that?
Yes! A cup of tea with a drop ( one drop of space tea and I can function perfectly normally two drops and I’m less inclined to work requiring concentration) ; milk in your tea helps absorption, but you could add the oil to anything; it is quite bitter on its own. I have been using the hybrid, I suspect the indica would be more suited to your needs (rest + sleep)
Sorry if this was answered already; I couldn't find it. For combining postage costs with the extras option, do the postage costs still multiply with each extra you add, or will it stay the same price as it did for sending one item to your select country? I'd assume same if the items were all being sent in one package, but I could be wrong. Sorry for the dumb question
Yeah, MJconentrates listings aren't very clear about postage cost.
"Extras - U need 2 pay post too to 52 countries" - it is really weird phrasing, right? Is it confusing for native English speakers as well? For me it means - you need to pay postage for every extra, but it's not like that. You pay postage cost only once if they go in the same parcel.
Same as onthehunttopunt and carverr are advice is solid - ask for custom order if you want to order items from multiple listings, but if you don't want to wait and don't care much about BTC miner fees you can order it separately and pay by orders one by one.
I just wish they would offer special delivery by 1pm.
You could also give MJ a shout and see if they can get a custom order together for you to avoid multiple coin transactions. However if you've got the time and it's a couple of things the multiple items option works perfectly as Carverr has said :)
I did just that recently; ordered two different flavoured carts: clicked buy for one, added postage, then added the cost of a second cart, and in message told mj what other flavour I wanted, all worked out
Mjc kindly sent me the hybrid version. I had some yesterday and it blew my socks off ! Had to sit down for about 3 hours and hope not to get caught out by the Mrs. Not sure where at least 2 off those hours went, didn’t know what day it was :o Anyway, the question is dosage, using the pipette given I can’t exactly measure a drop under my tongue. Could I drop on to a small bit of food maybe so I can see measurements. How do other people do it ? Thanks
