So you've been recommended a battery for carts. If that's what you want (and carts are very discreet for crossing borders and smoking abroad) I'd suggest the Ccell Palm Pro instead of the Nectar Honeybee. It's nicer to hold, feels higher quality, is smaller, and works more efficiently. I've sent back 2 Honeybees for replacements and then sold the sealed replacement to a mate and bought the Ccell.

I took a long break too. I used to use Paybis with no problem but when I came back it wouldn't verify my account. Tried a few and ended up with Coinbase and have to say I haven't had any problem with them. I find the whole bitcoin thing a pain in the arse but it's been relatively pain free with Coinbase for me.

You can buy it P2P on Bisq or Robosats, then move to Exodus and then pay through Exodus app. It has more privacy than straight from bank card - Exodus / Kraken and final to Transaxe.

After many years my bank stopped letting me send money to any crypto exchange the daft cunts.

So I opened a Revolut account that is both a bank and a crypto exchange thereby making it even simpler as its all inhouse, fast and efficient. Nice!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, as a revolut customer myself, have you seen the email that went out at the end of last week?
In a nutshell, they have stated that they will no longer permit crypto transfers to any and all previously used addresses/wallets. So that's it as far as LB is concerned I fear.

All addresses that you send to on LB are brand new, never used before, and zero balance, so I have no idea how this is flagged to the exchange if sending directly. My Phantom wallet specifically warns me that this is a zero balance address with no previous transactions, and do I wish to proceed. Invariably I do.

Oh yeah good point, I don't get it either. But I've definitely heard of people sending direct from Coinbase and getting banned or shadowbanned (ie the transactions just never go through). Maybe they are going by something else, some algorithmic pattern. I've always used Exodus in between just in case (although one person on here claimed they got shadowbanned when always sending to a self-custody wallet first). But, in any case, it seems like any bank can just arbitrarily decide to block us from sending to a specific crypto exchange. Which is shit. Coinbase has some disclaimer where it says banks are increasingly doing this, under the guise of fraud prevention, to clamp down on crypto use. They recommend using Revolut or Monzo to fund the account (but seems like the former is turning the screws as well...ever since it became an official bank? I might open a Monzo account as well, just in case)

It was nuts. The transaction was blocked with a message to call the Fraud Department and I was transferred to Crypto Fraud. This has happened before and I have explained that I am building a small crypto portfolio with regular small transfers, no I am not being co-erced or blackmailed and there is nobody holding a gun to my head for my 65 quid.

I could tell they were out to get me this time. They took the account number and sort code of the transfers and eventually came back with "that account has been connected with fraud".

My points were: "so you are saying Bitpanda is a fraudulent business?"

"No, we are saying that account has been reported for fraudulent activity"

"But thats their bank account. Why don't you discuss it bank to bank? Its nothing to do with me, I've used it dozens of times over a number of years as you can see and I have no concerns"

"We cannot authorise transfers to that account"

End Of. This is just sweeping up the little guys for effect whilst the big guys trade billions every single day. Pathetic.

But your first paragraph is completely correct. I'm currently favouring Phantom as a non-KYC wallet as the fees seem to be lower than with Exodus. I may be imagining it, but it certainly seems that way.

OK, so I just looked it up and it looks like you have 2 things to register via Bittylicious: Proof of name, and proof of address.

The former is almost all official government documents, but they also let you register this with a PASS Card (which I'd never heard of, and had to look up...) It seems like this could be obtained in maybe 4-8 weeks, and if you don't have official documents that they accept they'll send you a different registration form where your GP or other health professional could say that you're you (even though they probably couldn't recognise you in a line up). There are a few other options for who can endorse it. Lasts for 3 years, but you'll only need to register once.

Then you need proof of address which should be much more simple, so you're looking for a recent utility bill, or mobile phone bill, or bank statement. Maybe give them a ring? Pretty sure they're available Monday-Friday 9-5 at a minimum.

Yes. I use bittylicous. They're much more relaxed about KYC. It's a great service too. You can use your bank account and they'll never know (essential as I'm sure you know. Never let on to your bank that you're buying crypto). Anyway, It's a little bit clunky and takes a while to get used to, but works fine and you can send your coin wherever you want. No questions asked.

Yeah dude. I selected the crypto option on the transfer on my very first purchase! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Spent 30 minutes on the phone to the fraud department who grilled me when I was between night shifts. In the end he said he was 'mostly satisfied', removed the fraud flag and let the payment go through. Since then I've always clicked on 'Buying Physical Product', and haven't had an issue, even sending just under a grand at a time.

I hope I'm right in this assessment, but I'm happy with using Bittylicious as they're based on the Isle Of Man, they're (as you say) pretty lax about KYC and seem to do the bare minimum required, and state they won't start HMRC reporting until 2027, when I thought it was this tax year where it came into force?

I’ve always been a big drinker and I simply love the bloody stuff. Weed just entices me to drink more. I find it a great combination. I used to drink every day of the week but now I take Mon-Thurs off and really enjoy the detox, good sleep etc and then pan it for the rest of the week.

Was coasting on Skol Super this evening but got bored so just been round the offie and bought a bottle of Scotch. I just need anything that will shut out the depression, boredom and loneliness for a couple of hours at least. Something to take me to a different place for a short while. You may not want to hear this but you need jesus christ. Having faith in something bigger than ourselves can help us improve our lives exponentially by breaking us away from our vices. I've never been much of a drinker more of a class A upper kind of vibe but it got so bad I sold the 3 cars I had, lost my home and I shit you not tried selling the clothes I was wearing for a line. It all started to get better when I sought the lord. Even if you think I'm talking nonsense, you can only know if you try.

Thanks mate. I've actually contributed to another thread on shrooms. To keep it short I bought a choc bar a few weeks ago with the intention of microdosing. Basically I haven't had the nerve to try it yet. It's 4g a bar divided into 15 squares so works out about 0.26g per square. So a very low dose. Trouble is even though it's so low I'm paranoid in case I have a weird reaction. And as I'm sure you'll agree paranoia is not a good state of mind in which to go experimenting with Psychedelics. So it's still sitting there in its packaging until I get the nerve up to try it.

If you want to reduce your drinking further you could impose a minimum 2 days off between drinking days, this would turn ~150 days into ~120 days that's ~30 more days sober a year. Probably a few 3 day gaps to adjust when you want to drink on a particular day will only increase your sober days. Small adjustments to behaviour are easier to sustain.

For me I need nature and fresh air at this time of year, I am lucky to have this on my doorstep but if you don't get outside much try to get out and have some fresh air and watch the world go by for a while or maybe read a book you have always meant to read.

You are doing pretty well to keep drinking to 3 days and recognising that you can't let it control you keep your chin up mate don't be too hard on yourself and if you try that mushroom chocolate please do a topic on how it goes.💚

For sleep there are very strong strains that will definatley put you to sleep even during the day. I would recommend my skywalker og for that.

Thanks for your comments mate! Regarding my health I've been a heavy drinker for the past 40+ years. I have high tolerance. Plus I've always managed to balance it with a relatively healthy lifestyle. Yes I have mornings after where I feel like shit but I shake it off pretty quickly unless I've really gone overboard and drunk myself unconscious the night before. Even then I get over it ok. As for if I can go only three nights a week then I can go without totally the opposite is true. Drinking three nights a week is the only thing that helps me abstain the other four. I would drink every night rather than give up the three I have. I honestly don't want to come across patronising but I don't expect anyone not addicted to alcohol to understand. It's complicated.

I think it's a case of spending alot on some wpff hash from the hash collective. Smoke that on a bong and you won't feel the need for any more mate 👍✨ not for a good few hours. You won't leave the house mate. Dopeys sift from the whiskey weed messed me up in a similar way for cheaper. You could get some cheap hash and melt it in with oil and eat it. That wrecks you completely and works with the commercial hash too

Thanks mate. Like I said I've tried many different antidepressants. Also had dynamic psychotherapy and CBT plus many sessions with psychiatrists. Nothing has made me feel better and a lot of it has made me feel worse. Personally I think my problem is down to physical trauma. I used to cycle commute to work and had a serious accident. Went over the handlebars at speed and hit the road head first. Had bad concussion. My problems started shortly after. Think frontal lobe damage was the cause. Sadly it's not like the TV where you mention it to the doc and they whip you in and sort you out. In reality they say "yes that's possible, let's try you on this pill you haven't tried yet". Sorry to sound cynical but it's born of hard experience.

I am an alcoholic. I don't drink now. That is the 1st and most important step to get rid of alcohol as it is the cause of all of that unwanted bad feeling. A known depressive that I've seen ruin many lives. If you can get off the booze and have a good strong dose of cannabis when needed then you will enjoy everything a bit better mate.

Cheers mate. I spent four years on Fluoxetine, then four and a half years on Sertraline, then the past ten years on Venlafaxine and Mirtazapine combined. Do you have enough to try a few weeks cycling on and off? You should just about be able to feel it if it's the right dose for you. I started with 0.1mg and moved to 0.2, and I think that's my dose. The only effect for me is a very subtle uplift of mood about 2 hours after taking it which can sometimes be felt as a little wave as it takes effect. Look into Stamets Stack microdosing if you feel this is effective for you, as I feel this was even better. Need to get more flushing Niacin...

I'm interested in this. I've suffered with treatment resisitant depression for 20 years now. Had all kinds of traditional treatment and nothing has worked. Bought myself a chocolate bar a few weeks ago but haven't had the nerve to try it yet. Don't be in a rush either this is the most exciting stage of your journey because its brand new! Take your time and go slow enjoy the scenery, you are only a virgin once! Most enthusiasts would love to go back I'm sure. Start off in a safe environment with ample time, first times I would avoid screen media (although your phone does become super cool) maybe just some chilled low volume music, anything like plants or natural patterns are a must see... just a small but noticeable portion I would recommend around the 1g mark depending on your weight and height. On an empty stomach you should notice the change within the hour. Feel it, centre your breath and simply observe. Log your journey as soon as you can then in 48hrs+ time you are ready for level two! If you would like me to estimate your levels message me. I wish you the most beautiful enlightening time.

Set and setting. You have to be in the right mindset to take it, and you have to be somewhere familiar. You can potentially get very cold as you come up from the shrooms (you'll know this is happening as firstly you'll start grinning and feeling happy and then remember the shrooms you took 30-60 minutes previously), so get a hoodie/Oodie (my preference)/poncho/blanket to prepare for this.

You'll want to try about 1-1.5g to start, depending on the strain, and that should be a nice introduction with no visuals. I'm thinking I'll go with one square and take it from there. Ah, may I ask why you stopped? I used to take Liberty Caps in the late '90s until I felt like maybe I'd taken too many. Had depression of varying degrees for a long time, and massive anxiety lately. A few years ago I took about half / 2g of a Cali Gold shroom bar (and reviewed it on here) and I had an amazing trip. Felt like I was being welcomed home. Don't waste your time with a square, do a minimum of a g.

I stopped simply because booze became my drug of choice. Maybe it was predestined because my dad was an alcoholic. Late 60s early 70s I did pretty much everything you can name except smack. Then mid-70s the culture changed. Sitting in pubs downing pints became preferable to getting spaced out. It was a more sociable high. Getting shit faced with other people instead of getting stoned alone. Ultimately the booze became the curse of my life but that's a whole other story.

I don't think you can replace one with another, but you can potentially alter your brain chemistry for the better. This isn't predetermined, despite genetics and addiction, and you could change things. Enjoy the trip, and feel free to send me a message if you have any specific queries.

I’m still very early into the microdosing side of things myself, but just to add a small perspective for Khasi — starting low like you’re thinking (even just one square) is completely fine if the main hurdle is nerves. You can always build up, but it’s a lot harder to “undo” taking more than you’re comfortable with 🍄

From what I’ve felt so far on a microdose, it’s been very manageable and subtle, nothing overwhelming at all — but obviously that’s quite different from a gram+ experience like Rux is describing

Think the key thing (like already mentioned) is just being in a calm, familiar environment and not rushing it. No harm in easing yourself back into it after such a long break

I only know the Delta 9 edibles and they are pretty strong because the liver converts Delta-9 into 11-hydroxy-THC, which is more potent and longer-lasting than full blown THC.
