I've been smoking worldwide for over 30 years, but have calmed down and mainly smoke hash these days.
One thing I keep noticing is that the mainly sativa hash is normally light in colour and quite brittle and sandy, whilst indica hash always seems to be darker, softer and a bit stickier to the touch.
I've noticed this trend over the years, but I don't know why? It may just be me!
Grateful if anyone can confirm this, and if is true, explain why?

I want to try a vape - any recommendations?
I'm looking to try a vape, have been smoking hash for years as skunk is just too stinky for where I live. I don't have vape already so guess i'll need a disposable? I've seen quite a few vapes for sale on here, but many comments seem to say they're not particularly strong? Also, I'm not sure how many hits you get from .5ml? Grateful for any advice really! Distillate carts will hit you H.A.M. when you first try them but it fades quite quickly. Live resin is more like getting stoned on a joint. 50/50 gives you the best of both worlds. All down to personal preference.

I use a honeybee stick battery or a cheap one from Amazon. Pre heat is a good feature.

Definitely would recommend Dr. Terpy. I'm a regular customer with them and I have never ever had a bad cart. Most fair price I have found on the site, most flavoursome carts and when you get to the bottom of the cart it doesn't get super clogged up and hard to use.

Sensi Mart do some really nice 100% live resin carts, long lasting effects. Highly recommended.
You can vape hash. Invest in a Crafty or a Mighty, but you may find the hit is less than with combustion.
Don’t be fooled with carts, many are more than 90% THC so it doesn’t get much stronger and your tolerance will suffer with frequent use.
To decide if they are for you, buy a distillate pen (Canadian Imports are wonderful). If you want to progress from there buy a decent battery and check out live resin and 50:50 carts 👍

I have a Crafty, but always prefer to roll up with either bud or hash. As you say the hit is very different & I just couldn't seem to get on with it.
I started with pens but switched to carts from sensi mart.
Think they do pens too, a 0.5 ml one lasts me ages but I use it to have top ups more than anything.
If using it as primary way to get medicated could burn through a 0.5 quick!

I'm looking for a strong, uplifting, creative sativa hash. I've been medicating with Super Lemon Haze bud recently and it has really helped with both physical and mental issues.
I have new neighbours and the bud is just too pungent now. I've tried some Indica leaning and hybrid hashes, but they're either not strong enough or don't give the uplifting sativa effect that I'm after.
Any good hash recommendations from respected sellers?

The closest estimate to the average wind speed (Meters per second) recorded in London on Sunday 14th will win an ounce.
For example average wind speed was 10.9 M/S last Sunday, so the winner would have been the closest to this number.
If multiple people guess the same number and they win, the ounce will be split accordingly. Entries will finish at 13:00 on Saturday 13th.

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

I absolutely love blue cheese. So tasty and so strong. I used to get an oz every week off my plug back in the day. Couldn't get enough of it. Got it recently in the dam too at Greenhouse effect. Was just like how I remembered it.

There was a grower that was producing the strongest WW ever. It’s the closest weed I’ve had that when smoked could be mistaken for isolator.

i was going to the dam around that time and also had some of the LA confidential it was crazy strong and very dank tasting. it was one of the best we tried that trip, those grey mist crystals from grey area were something else too!

Northern lights terpenes are locked in my mind from 30 years ago. Bizarre how our minds can recreate that smell.
I'm a big fan of mimosa. First time I had that and sluricane I was quite pleased (they were nice examples). I think my all time favourite may have been a blue cheese amnesia cross, had it around Xmas time like 12 years ago. Point in time/context definitely has huge impact on decision. I once grew some purple punch (outdoor auto flower) only got like a Q of decent bud, after few months curing was lovely, that fact I grew it made it better than it was to me.
Had a strain called Greco once that was the strongest thing I've ever had, not only gave me red eyes but also gave red rings/bags on eyes. My house mates were worried about me hahaha.

I have found that it's more to do with phenotypes and how they are grown. I've sampled different grows of the same strain and found the effects to differ with each one. Some of these grows have been some of the nicest in effects and then others of the same strain completely lack what was so nice about them.
Mine is probably some jungle cake, Mac or boss og, all of them I got from here. Such great strains. Even chemdawg and uk cheese are up there too.

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them
It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes 🤷🏻♂️.
Amnesia haze almost always gets me to a place of euphoria that's unmatched by other strains. Would love to find a strain that's more euphoric but out of the roughly 20 strains I've tried so far nothing has been more uplifting than ami.

As far as dominant sativa’s goes,I’ve always had a smile when bopping home with a bit of Amnesia in my sky.
I'd go with either MAC by citizen stash or wedding crasher by BLKMRT both outstanding. I also had a bit of alien sin mint cookies by BLKT, I kid you not the bud was bluish instead of purple, all these strains were from a couple years ago when I was living in Canada.

Sorry to hear that brother. That’s rather strange as I won one of their very first competitions and received the cola bottles prompt and they were great. I even returned to try other products. hope you get your prize my friend

They haven't anounced the winner for this one even though they have been online over the last few days.
The DMed me to say that they were posting the prize I won last weekend but it will be a week tomorrow.

Basically a mint chocolate chip flavoured macaroon, with honey Combe filling.

For flavour, texture and aesthetics I think French Macarons would be amazing ☺️ You could have seasonal, strain specific and personalised ranges. Thin mint cookies and cream, mad honey and lavender. That sort of thing 🫶🏻
Some infused fudge maybe? I've had it maybe once or twice before and it's a flavour to die for 💚
Oat, raisin/cranberry, choc chip flapjack…amazing! If it’s got a chocolate drizzle as well, even better

For me it has to be... 88- 95 were just way too amazing lifestyle, partaking and raving wise!
Orion is very good also by Beltram. He has done loads of stuff though. I'll put his mix of dominator in another link and other stuff. I like record box diving youtube.

More early dubby techno, G-Man(Jez Varley was one half of LFO). Can't find the age easily but it is on the MixMag - Hawtin mix from 95.
Like a lot of Techno it can rely on the mix, well it makes me want to start mixing vinyl again though for my neighbors sanity I won't :).

when i used to do raves i'd make my playlist like a one long greatest hits tape, using bits from here and there never usually playing near a full track, usually slot was only 1hour, in the rave at least, i would get through many records.
